Don't know what the heck happened to this place. Produce is almost always stale, many many shelves always empty, and they have stopped selling rotisserie chickens. They still sell "cooked" chickens, but they are completely inedible, idk why they even bother, such a waste.

Overall, this is a good grocery store, quality is good in all respects - produce, fresh fruits, regular items, organic milk ... Also, general cleanliness, space to walk around, etc. are good. A well organized low key store with good customer service. Prices aren't too bad either. The seafood section isn't all that great, sigh; it's definitely better at WF, across town ... I walk faster, looking the other way, when I approach the seafood stall here.

I love the GF, organic selection I found at Stop&Shop for a reasonable price. The supermarket is very clean, well organized and the stands are always packed with products.They employees are very nice, polite, devoted to offer a great customer service. I enjoy coming to the supermarket and I always get what I need.I would like that the international section will have more products such as dulce de leche, panela and hot chocolate la abuelita other than that I am very pleased with what Stop&Shop has to offer to the community.

Their staff is nice and friendly.They have a large selection of products for decent prices.Unfortunately, the Tilapia we bought here wasn't fresh and we didn't realize it until we arrived home and wanted to make it.Other than that it's a good and large grocery store, all the other fresh products we bought were great.

I order my groceries for pick up. And it is so convenient. I feel like I was given extra time for the day. I have never gotten a bad product. And the department Manager (Jeruso) is warm, friendly and oh so very helpful. I hope this does not get her trasfered.

Produce packed on 3/23 was still on sale on 3/26.labels had been defaced to obscure "sell by" date in an effort to deceive the consumer as to the freshness of the product.Product was fresh baked store packed cookies,

Nice, well organized, and many options on anything you want. They have a great quantity of kosher products such as snacks, food and beverages. And they have essential pharmacy products.Also it is open until late night which is very convenient, in case you forgot something from your grocery list.A little expensive than other markets in town, yet affordable.

Fantastic Stop & Shop location. It’s so clean, well organized, and fully stocked. It feels wide and open, easy to find everything, and the check out is always fast. The Dumont/Bergenfield border Stop & Shop is horrible, and I used to avoid this chain because of that location, however, Closter’s Stop & Shop is great. I love the area and the store.

The store has a good selection of produce, meats, fish and desserts. The staff is friendly and check out is fast and easy. Parking is very easy as well. So much more pleasant to shop here than fighting for parking spots, waiting in line and overpaying for groceries. Good job Stop and Shop!

The staff is really nice and always great to see familiar faces. I love the hand scanners to shop too. The bakery department is wonderful to work with. We get cookies, frosting, and sprinkles every year for a Girl Scout event. Lovely organic section.

Definitely not one of their flagship stores. My understanding is that they are using it to test things like their robotic inventory system (literally a pretty sizable actual robot moves around the store). They also have the touch screen deli ordering system that replaces the traditional pink ticket stand in line method. Selection is good. Gluten free etc. Pretty much everything you need as long as your not looking for high end cheese etc

Just Okay, sad that this chain doesn't have a better image but there Dumont store ruined that for me. Consistently expired chicken being out for sale. I buy nothing but canned goods from here

One of the better Stop and Shop supermarkets in our area. "Plan your visit" graph is almost always accurate. The aisles are wide, important during these times, and usually well stocked. The store employs an alternating one way traffic aisle policy, which is great, but they use small signs now that can not easily be read., In the past they used large red floor arrows at both ends of the aisles which most customers could see, understand and pay attention to. During my last two visits I frequently had to back out of an aisle to avoid someone coming the wrong way because they could not see or read the small signs. Would strongly recommend the store go back to the floor arrows, or post traffic size like "one way" and "Stop" (entry) signs (available in plastic at minimal cost) which are "NJMVC" easier to see and read.

I live in a neighboring town and I drive the extra mile (10mins) to shop here even thought the "other" stop and shop is blocks away. It's less crowded, better stocked. More importantly less angry people rushing. No pressure laid back atmosphere.

Very disappointed men in deli. I ordered very thin slices for prosciutto and bologna every time but men never made it. So lazy people but when women working always made perfectly. I'm not gonna buy anymore when men work there.

open till midnight in an otherwise sleepy town that rolls up and sidewalks quite a bit earlier... Google says they close at 11 but they close at 12 I was there last night. A good selection of produce!

I dont even want to write this review cause I dont want people to find this place. I only learned of it because of a sign during road construction. That being said when other place run out of things like water cause its 4th of july this hidden jem still had a supply. The place was empty, clean, good parking, and like a said it's a hidden jem. Good spot for a peaceful shopping experience.

Because of the area some of the employees can be a little snooty otherwise it's a great supermarket. Fruits and vegetables are fresh and the meat department is always happy to help.

DO NOT SHOP THERE! Three times sold us moldy cheese, moldy bread and expired recalled kids crackers with cheese that got us sick. We returned to tell them about the expired items and they were all still on the shelves being sold. Completely unacceptable they are clearly not following health codes. Will never go there again and I am contacting the health department.

They are doing their best to keep shelves stocked and meats are constantly being stocked. Aisles are appropriately marked for one way traffic.

Eileen the cashier was rude belligerent and embarrassed me in front of 5 customers shouting at me for putting 3 packs of toilet paper on the counter .I am thinking of calling my lawyer to ask stop and shop to look into this matter as to why i had to be talked very degrading by this woman who does she think she was talking to ..luckily i had a headache i didn't want to start an argument but I was verbally abused and someone should pay
