This store has to be one of the most well kept for its size. They have a huge salt and freshwater selections from fish to coral and plants. They have excellent prices on plants but are very pricey on reefs and saltwater compared to other local stores. It does make sense having prices this high because they have such a huge store and excellent customer service. They probably had at least 10 people out on the floor helping customers. Will definitely come back for any freshwater and plant needs highly recommended.

Absolutely Fish has been my family's supplier for our 45-gallon reef tank. Before that, we shopped with them since I was a middle school student. The staff are beyond friendly and knowledgeable. Simply going in is like visiting an aquarium. There is straightforward pricing, and their advice on maintaining any tank has improved many people's experience tending aquatic life. I cannot recommend a small business in Passaic County that helps restore home tanks more outside sizeable corporate pet stores. For a lot of heart and a beautiful view, visit soon and ask any questions you have to the standout employees.

Literally fascinating. Besides the staff being super helpful and super knowledgeable, I was shooketh. The fish are SOOOOOO COOOOOLLLL. We went to this store instead of the aquarium beverage I was having a “I want to see fish” craving and I’m glad we went here because we saw more than an aquarium would show us. We saw fish I’ve never seen before and you can buy them. We only came to look but it was great because now my husband has agreed to get a fish tank in the near future (he said maybe even a few) and we will go specifically here because we love it.

I cannot say enough good things about this store. I go in pretty much weekly and they help me with all my questions. They are never too busy to help me with everything that I need. Everyone there is so knowledgeable and you can tell they love the hobby. They have a wide selection of products as well as livestock. Also just a side note their bathroom is super clean. It doesn't get any better than Absolutely Fish.

ABSOLUTELY love this place. I have had freshwater tanks for as long as I can remember and this place has always been the store I go to stock them. All staff are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I have met the owner, Patrick, who is amazing and Cam who is a manger that will stop at nothing to help you out. Not once have I ever had a bad experience and have been and bought fish from them countless times. If I ever do get a fish that dies on me in a couple days after purchasing, it happens, they will replace it (given you give them a water sample and they determine it was in-fact a sick fish and not a product of bad tank conditions) with sincere apologies. The store itself brings me so much joy as I can tell they all really care and do their best to give the fish the life they deserve. I have brought my friends and family there at some point and they have all fall in love with the place too. 10/10 recommend. *Below are some of the fish I have gotten from them*

This place is AWSOME. Lots of Fish, both Freshwater and Saltwater. They all looked healthy and active. The display tanks with the plants for sale look fantastic, tho the fish in it aren’t for sale! I was greeted by several employees and asked if I needed assistance through the time I was in the store. I’d definitely recommend this place!

One of the best fish stores that's local to the area.Pros:- All of the employees that work here are really passionate about what they do. When I first started this hobby in 2018 and they knew it was my first aquarium, they asked me a bunch of questions to make sure I was fully ready to take care of the fish I wanted.- The tanks are very well maintained. At other fish stores, I always see a dead fish or two in their aquariums or I see specific kinds of fish not getting the specific care that they need. The fish here are always swimming happily and any fish that have specific husbandry requirements are always taken care of correctly.Cons:- The staff seem a bit distant at times. It can also be a bit hard to find help sometimes because they are always busy.- The fish are a bit on the pricier side, but they are worth the extra money in my opinion knowing the care that they get.

Fantastic store. Wide selection of fish and corals, both fresh water and salt water. Staff are knowledgeable and happy to help. Can get crowded, especially on Sundays, but the quality of their products and the pleasant shopping experience is worth it.

A great experience! Recently set up a small "starter tank" (20gal.) and had questions about how to proceed. Manager Eric, as well as Renata, Peyton, & David, were tremendously helpful. We have now returned a few times and always receive excellent advice. The fishes purchased there are healthy & thriving, much to our family's delight.Absolutely Fish offers a wide variety of beautiful aquatic creatures, tank necessities, etc.Thank you, Absolutely Fish!

Exceptional experience with this place, the way employees caring about fishes and your home care for them is mind blowing.We been coming here for a long time with my daughter, started with one fish bowl abut she would come sometimes just walk around and see what they have new.Their year we bought reef tank from them and experience we went with everyone in the store cannot describe with words, they don’t just sell you they offer ongoing support, advices.So highly recommend this place and if you do not have yet fish tank please get one as it better then any other pets.

Traveled nearly 100 miles to obtain hard to find freshwater fish. The facility is large capacity fresh & salt water fish. Lots of medicines & water treatments to choose from as well as aquarium accessories, stones, & aquarium necessities. Aquariums were clean with wide variety of healthy, colorful, unusual choices.Fish vary in price & size. Staff is friendly & would recommend for the beginner to the experienced.

I love this place. Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable on all things fish. They are definitely experts. They have an awesome variety of freshwater and saltwater fish. They carry wayyyyy more than you think. From tanks with just coral to live rocks. A tank with poisonous fish. They even have starfish and stingrays. I saw eels and puffer fish as well. Even a koi pond and of course all of your tank maintenance needs. I recommend them to anyone who will listen.

This place has got it all, amazing place and staff. I went there for a few plants and ended up asking a million questions, but the gentleman (young kid, I am so bad with names, so sorry I can't even give him the props he deserves) who helped me out answered each one and with out hesitation. He had his ducks in a row, excellent and friendly customer service and knowledgeable staff. I am 30 minutes away from here but I think I found my go to aquarium shop, it's worth it. Absolutely Fish is an amazing place to be! The staff is always helpful and extremely knowledgeable with whatever area of aquatics you're interested in. They always have an abundance of fish in stock all displayed in beautiful tanks. There's an endless amount of fish tank accessories ranging from filters and medium to decor and live plants. As you can see in the pictures I've provided I have gotten three beautiful HEALTHY fish from the store that still flourish in my tank today. Along with some plants newly bought to add to the tank! Absolutely Fish has everything you'd need and then some!

This Store is great. I had just started to get in the hobby of fish keeping and this was the place for me. Jeremy Who is now my good friend was a great help through my whole start up. I now have many tanks that are healthy and properly set up with beautiful fish. Couldn't be more satisfied with customer service as they are truly there for the people. Would recommend over and over. I started to visit this fish store since this March. I used to go the other store, but after I found this one, I noticed there are more choices here, although the price is higher, I decided to shop here since then. They helped you to save money by providing membership, other discount day and so on. The most attractive thing is this “trading cards collection”, and on Instagram I saw people got a 29 gallons tank(worth $400-$500+) as the award. I am excited about this and started to buy in the store time after time. This August I finally got all the cards but they told me no award for now and I need to wait. That is ok and I checked with them several time on Instagram, and today they ask me to call them. I directly went to the store. What a surprise, they offer me a $50 gift card!?? They just destroyed my day. They said price changes. And they of course have all right to decide what the award is. But after waiting 2 month, $50, seriously?? I spent thousands of dollars here, bought some $400 $300 corals here. do I care about $50 gift card? A free Uber round trip from my home to the store?? I hope it’s a joke but it’s not. So everyone, just don’t believe this promotion. It’s nothing. I’d rather keep the cards my self. Thanks. This is fake advertising.10.10 update: thanks for Patrick’s email and I can feel he really cares about costumers. I received a 29 gallon tank set and a set of signed trading cards as gifts. Will continue shopping in Absolutely Fish. Thanks!

Great place everyone AND I MEAN EVERYONE knows there stuff! They train their employees extensively!! They care about these animals and always answer questions with respect and no judgement ❤️ also never had a pest outbreak with their tank plants like I have with so many other stores!
