Comb and Collar is by far the best dog grooming place around. Angela and Alyssa are professional, super meticulous with the care needed for each pet and will treat your dog like their own. My dog Louie is so happy to see them on a biweekly basis….HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

This place is excellent and very clean. Angela did an amazing job !!! Trucker's haircut was perfect! I'm so happy she is in Cliffside Park. It was Trucker's 1st visit with her and it will certainly not be the last . We already booked our 2nd appointment. Thank you Angela for an amazing job!!!

The best grooming place in the area! They go out of their way to make your pet comfortable (my dog is not a fan of grooming, but this is the only place he is ok with) and haircuts are great!

I want to personally thank the team at comb&collar for their hard work. I recently took my dog in to get their opinion and help with a bad grooming on my dog by another groomer.They took a bad cut and made my dog look soooo much better. She went in Shaking and nervous from her prior experience with grooming and when I picked her She was happy and calm. The team at Comb&collar are patient and gentle and it shows! We will def be back in the future!

I don't know why this place isn't 5* they are excellent at grooming very professional and friendly. Sadie used to hate going to the groomers before I found comb and collar and has gotten better and better ever since coming here. They do a great job every time and it's a very nice clean place! Angela and her team are amazing. Far more thorough and diligent with my Maltipoo than any previous groomers I used, and I have lived in PA, Manhattan and NJ. Ignore the 1 star reviews - clearly left by people who feel threatened by Angela’s success. You won’t regret trusting your furry friend to Comb and Collar.

I have been to a lot of pet groomers, and I can tell you this place is the best one I've come across. The place is immaculate. Angela and Alyssa are always accommodating and take the best care of my two yorkies, Phoebe & Chloe. Highly recommend!!

Benji’s smile says it all! I love the way the table is set up so that he can see me while getting his nails clipped which used to be a stressful event for both of us. He gets lots of attention and love while he’s there.

This groomers is the best ever! I used to get my dog Sadie groomed at a different place and she hated it sooo much like would actually shake going inside the place and used to come home so itchy. THEN I found comb and collar and my dogs Sadie and Koby love it here, the staff are the best and so friendly they do a great job every time! Thank you guys !!

Ok, so I’m a proud dog dad. I have a small female toy poodle that weighs approximately 6 pounds. I have been taking my dog to this establishment for over 1yr. Based solely on my wife’s decision, despite all the negative reviews I read online. Truly, I never had a problem with this establishment other then since day one, I felt like the owner and staff always seemed rushed, overworked and understaffed.Honestly, it shows by the energy you get when your there. I always felt like Angela’s vibe was “I’m doing you a favor by working with your dog”. Leaving my precious dog in her hands was always a struggle for me.Over the year, the cut my dog was receiving didn’t match the Hefty price tag for grooming. I take nothing away from her skills but if I pay that amount $$$ plus a tip. I expect nothing short of her constant mistakes on my poodle. Ex: ( uneven hairline, left over patches, tail not properly groomed). On our last scheduled visit, the owner Nicked my poodle under her throat and near her female Anatomy. (Deep nicks too).I understand even a pro can occasionally snip the wrong thing and that’s because our pets do not hold still for the groomer and do not understand the consequences.I commend them for their work! But when it’s your dog, it’s a game changer. I knew something was off when I picked her up. Plus, she forgot to give me back the leash she came in with. The deep Nick, became a scab to form. When I picked up my dog I was not notified about this cut what so ever. My next course of action was to notify her about it the day after I noticed it myself. She apologized and said” She used a Bigger clipper guard on my dog”instead of a smaller guard for a smaller dog. I’m like huh? ok , mistakes happen. My wife and I had to treat our dog with topical ointment and even decided we may have to go to the vet.Two months has passed since her last grooming b/c I wanted her cut to heal properly. I Hesitantly, called and spoke to Angela, today to Schedule an appointment. She told me flat out “Your dog is so delicate, I do not choose to work with your dog at this time”.To my surprise, I believe every dog that walk Through her doors are delicate. Honestly, I respect her opinion, and will gladly take our poodle and business elsewhere.

I just picked up my toy schnauzer yogi and alley did everything I asked. He looks amazing! This was his first time here and it was an awesome experience. Price is reasonable and he was done in a timely fashion. We will definitely come back!

I took my 7 month old shih tzu to Angela. I was so happy with how she was groomed. My dog was happy and playful when I went to pick her up. Angela took her time and made sure my dog had a good experience at her shop. Angela is so knowledgeable about so much more than just grooming, when it comes to dogs. She understands the age, type and temperament of dogs. I highly recommend her!

This place is wonderful! I bring my small dog here to get his nails trimmed and everyone’s great. Clean and you can see your dog clearly from the waiting area. My dog is a really nervous dog but the groomer has gotten him to be calm and he loves her. Definitely would recommend this place. Convenient location and parking all around. Can get here by bus too. Friendly staff.

This place is terrible. My dog is a goldendoodle. This is her before and after coming to this place. She had a couple of knots on your head and a little bit on her body. This place decided to shave her and they cut her with the blade she has red spots because of how irritated she is. There was no need to cut her hair so short. I see her skin there is no fur left. They charged me 95 for this and if you are smart enough you won't bring your dog here. I wouldn't want to see anyone else go through this.

Comb and Collar did a wonderful job on my dog, Enzo. They were super receptive to my needs for him and were transparent about how he behaved after the grooming. I absolutely love his haircut! I had to reschedule, too, and the owner was extremely open to getting us in right when I was available. Thank you!

Won't be coming back. She charged me $60 when I first took my shih tzu a few months back. Since then, I've had my 15yr old daughter take my dog twice and both times she raised the price to $70 and now $80. Claimed my dog was being difficult and biting. However, a rabies shot is mandatory to make an appointment, which means she knows thats a possibility. But more importantly she never communicated any price increase to me. I feel she just took advantage of my daughter. Thats not how you should do business
