For such a large store they really dont carry the wines that are most affordable and they dont have the sizes available whenever i go there. I decided not to be a customer of this business. They dont provide a public resttoom either. Its really a big store and its to bad they dont accommodate the paying customers.

They charge 3 percent if you use a credit card. I used a $50 gift card (Berkeley Fine Wine and Spirit gift card) and they charged me 3 percent using their gift card. I know it's minimal but it's the point and did they charge the 3 percent when the GC was purchased.

Berkeley's fine wine and spirits store is a beautiful store it is very well and I mean very well stocked with fine wines and good spirits I would recommend this store to anyone who has a good taste in fine wines and good spirits

Prices are fair and great selection. Staff are friendly and helpful. The main reason I wanted to provide a review is they are phenomenal with ordering specific requests and charging fair prices for special orders. Most other stores I’ve asked to order or inquired about products never followed through. The only one that actually got in a whiskey I ordered price gouged. Berkeley Fine Wine and Spirits has gotten in special requests quickly and at fair prices, all while communicating the whole time. This has been the experience multiple times. I will frequent their store every chance I get.

Just stopped by to get some gin. I’ve liked this place since it opened - helpful staff, very clean, good selection. However today, i discovered they are now charging a surcharge to use credit cards. For someone who hasn’t used cash in years, this is a major problem. Word of advice, if you want to stay in business, get rid of this ridiculous charge. Other places don’t charge extra; you shouldn’t either. I’ll be back when you get rid of it - from a disappointed customer

My husband bought an empty cigar box on March 6th morning, and wait for his friend to pick him up at the entrance. Just few minutes, the store manager (the elderly and wear with glasses) told him that he cannot wait at the entrance and ruined him to leave and said "You are not allowed to enter the store, you have to leave the store now!" Even though he told him he may buy something liquor later, but the store manager still insisted and not allowed him to entry again.He felt disappointed and fluctuated who confronted the customer like this nowadays.I am not sure that because he a Asian guy and they are unwilling to do business with him even though my husband had just bought the cigar box for couples minutes ago. Do you think this incident can be treated as racist?P.S. the outdoor temperature on March 6th morning around 50 degree and windy.

Large store with a great selection of everything. Amazing craft beer section. Very friendly and helpful staff. If they don't have what you need just ask and they'll get it for you. I've already ordered a case of wine that I fell in love with while on vacation in Florida. Didn't take long for it to come in at all.I love this store.

Huge liquor store. Very clean. Excellent selection. Friendly staff. Conveniently located about a quarter mile from 295. Had a little charcuterie fridge as you walk in with the fine Italian cured meats you need. Prices were fair but definitely reflecting our current inflation-demic. We also saw a celebrity on our way out! Snoop Dogg!!!

Very clean and we'll organized store. Nice variety and some great prices. Store is very new so I'm sure they are having growing pains. There is plenty of space in this store to expand their inventory, which I hope they do. I hope this store is successful and will be here for years to come.

The owner is kind of a wine snoot. I don't appreciate being talked down to when asking a novice question. I'm not fond of the way the store is laid out either. You'll find a 10.00 bottle of wine next to a 40.00 bottle. Other than that the store has nice wide isles, clean and is clutter free. Prices are competitive.

Yeah, they are okay...i stopped in a couple times to pick up wine. Its seems their pricing averages about $1 (per bottle) higher than other stores. Not a great selection. I dont go there very often.

I needed a liqueur for a recipe that was not in stock at the place closest to me. This store had the product in stock. It's not that far from my home. The place was clean and stocked. I will go back to explore more since I noticed a cheese display. Recommend it highly.

Most times only 1 cashier even on Fridays or Saturdays AND Holidays!! Also slim to no stock of wine and liquor, beer...looks stocked hence all their displays. No one ever asking customers if they need help. Very unexpecting, considering the area! I'd drive farther knowing I'd get better service all around. Oh and as soon as you walk in it smells like fermenting fruit or garbage.

Great place very clean big selection.The owner was at the store yesterday and I got to meet him he seems like a regular guy and offered to carry my purchase for me. I can’t say I’ve had better service for an owner.Thanks sir next time I see you I’ll remember your name.

This is a large liquor store. They carry a full selection of imported and domestic wines including local favorites. They also carry many imported an domestic beers and micro- brewery selections. The liquor selection will not disappoint. I would say this is one stop shopping. The staff is also very helpful.

*Update: Selection seems to be getting better, but prices still aren't great on the wine and spirits.*Pretty disappointing. Prices are awful and the whole place seems understocked. It’s like they ran out of money for inventory, and are waiting for some turnover to buy more... but their prices don’t make me want to buy anything. Was excited this place was opening, but you’re much better off going to Wine Warehouse in Mantua or Super Buy Rite in WD.

Good store overall if you want the usual, normal, or stocked items that any other liquor store carries. I went here beings they are new and bought a few items. I returned later to see if they could order a bottle of cognac not stocked, I havent found it stocked in any store in the area truthfully. The salesperson took my name and number told me he would check with the vendor and let me know the pricing, but he never got back to me to say sorry we cant get it or sure we can get it. Note to establishment: if you wanna be considered premier or look to earn new customers you have to seperate yourself from the same ol' same ol'. I live 1 mile from this store but will continue to travel 9 miles to use the store I have become fond of because what you want, they get, no questions asked.

I will start by saying that I have been frequenting Berkley for a few years now. It's been nice having a liquor store nearby with a decent selection of craft beers, wine, and whiskey.There has recently been a well known nationwide shortage of Blanton's bourbon (which has been my favorite for years). When the shortage started, I asked one of the managers at Berkley (and a couple of other liquor stores in the area) if there is a list that they keep so customers can reserve a bottle. Understandably, each store said that they can't do that and it's first-come-first-serve. This is completely fair, so I just kept casually checking in with them.Just last week, I asked if they had any Blanton's delivered. They said yes, and pointed at a bottle under one of the cash registers, but then reluctantly said that I couldn't buy it. When I asked why, they said that the owner was saving it for himself (or for a friend of his).This, of course, is unacceptable.The bottle was there for all customers to see but not purchase because the owner, who has an obvious advantage over his customers, wanted it for himself. This is a terrible way to run a business and is indicative of the mentality that they have for their customers.I would highly recommend going to Super Buy Rite in Mantua (next to the Shop Rite) for your liquor needs as they have a better all around selection and don't have double standards.

I like this place nice and clean and new. I love"OCEAN"organic vodka and they're the only ones in the area that sell it.They will not answer the phone or return phone calls. Nice place but non-existent customer service.

Meh. Based on the spirits that I like, the vodka I drink was $2 more than other local shops and they don't even carry the whiskey I drink. When I have more time to wine shop, I'll give them a second try. Overall, not really impressed. My "go-to" has a wine guru and she's NEVER let me down...
