Apparently, according to my cashier today, it is the new policy to check reusable shopping bags at the register to ensure you are not stealing things. I prefer to spend my money in places where it is assumed I am NOT a thief, so will go out of my way to shop at Wegmans from now on. Imagine treating all of your customers like they’re untrustworthy and then expecting loyalty in return. And if this is not the new policy, my cashier thought I looked suspicious for some reason, made up a story, and I still do not want to give them my business anymore.

I was out in the area on 3/27 around 4:10pm. The store is very nice. As I stood online I observed a cashier named Maureen interact with the customer in front of me. I was blown away by her attention to detail, wrapping things in rubber bands you might lose and just her friendly, respectful conversation. You could tell this woman lovessss her job. As I was checking out the same thing happened. Wrapping my smaller items in rubber bands. Big cartons of eggs she insulated with newspaper. Truly blown away by that level of customer service from anyone these days. I told her wow you've literally restored my faith in humans. Sounds crazy but going out to a store lately I have not observed anyone like her. Most people look miserable and annoyed they have to do their job. Maureen was enthusiastic, kindhearted and looks like she actually loves what she does. She needs a raise and recognition in my opinion. Thank you Maureen!

Love shopping there. This review is mostly about my recent bakery nightmare. I ordered a birthday cake and when I unboxed it, I nearly cried. I would not have paid $22 for the mess I received. Thankfully, I am crafty and managed to salvage my cake with a couple dowels, food coloring, sprinkles, patience and imagination. I'm not ordering custom cakes from them ever again. This isn't the first time I've had issues with the bakery dept. Twice I ordered online and they never made the cake. The first time I had to scramble for a backup cake but they did give me a discount, second time I ordered a couple days before it was needed in case they screwed up the order.. which they did. No cake, they told me to redo the order in store then come get it later. This shoprite is my go to and it's a shame they can't get competent bakers. Also, they should make it a habit of opening the cake and showing to customer so that everyone is satisfied. I should've opened and inspected better after seeing the bulge of icing and randomly placed flower that they used to try and hide the bulge. Lesson learned.

I loved this place so much, I drove from Philly every week to get my groceries from them. Today, I placed my order and reviewed my substations, declining several items, but I still received the declined items. I called the store and spoke to a manager named Courtney. She told me it was my fault because I didn’t decline the items fast enough, and to drive back over the bridge to return them.I’m not worried about the $30 worth of declined items that I won’t use, but I am worried about the utter lack of customer service in dealing with ShopRite today. I was a decent customer, shopping there almost exclusively for my family of 7, but Zallies probably will appreciate my business, and I don’t mind driving to a place that values their customers.

I come and do my shopping on a regular basis. I have only good things to say about associates who are out on the floor restocking, checking dates, picking up misplaced product, etc. When approached they have been more than happy to tell me where I should find an item. They are friendly and extremely helpful. The cashiers I have gone to are also very professional and always greet you as they begin the checkout process. Store is always stocked and very clean. This is my go to ShopRite and I live closer to two other ShopRite stores.

I went to this ShopRite on 12/24/2023, and I had a Great experience, the price on a particular item was incorrect I along with a few more customers question this, the manager was so accommodating and nice and he made it right, Don't know the managers name, but kudos to him, I love shopping at that ShopRite, it always looks clean and the associates always trying to please the customers.associates always are helpful and seem to be working hard to please the customer customers

Self check out was super uncomfortable, they literally stood less than 1 ft away from me, silently watching me like a hawk scanning my products. They was nice and reminded me to grab my coupon and even said have a nice night, but definitely felt like a criminal and unwelcomed during the scanning. Not going to blame the employee, not their fault, I guess that's how management trained them...to treat customers like they going to steal something.

Horrible experience! I felt like a criminal during my 5 minutes visit to the store. The untrained people made a display of their unprofessional and harrasing behavior since I crossed the door. The have three people around doing ridiculous things around me, staring and cut with a car when I was walking out. All that happened when I went to make a refill of my spring water. Rude, in appropriate and unprofessional. I wrote to the headquarters already and I will make sure to have someone else recording all their nonsense from distance next time. That has to stop!!!!!

Produce here is hit or miss. I will frequently leave without things I expected to buy because what they have in stock is visibly on the edge of turning. A few times I've gotten stuff home and it's spoiled 2 or 3 days later so I can't use it.I also really don't appreciate the self check out limits being so strictly enforced when there used to be no limit at all. One employee in particular likes to stand over your shoulder and count how many things you've scanned. Put more people on the registers if you don't want people using self check out or get off my back about when I've got 25 items and the limit is 20.

Went shopping on Friday, picked up circular. Many good values in the ad, cashed out, bill seemed high. Called manager because coupons were not taken off. She informed me that the ad don’t start until Sunday! Why greet customers with a not current circular! Cancel order

I love this store the only complaint I have is that they no longer allow orders over 25 items at self checkout. I prefer to to use self checkout because I hate waiting in line for slow as snails cashiers. I understand that it's because of theft but they have cameras all over even at the registers you scan from. They have checkout clerks who should be monitoring self checkout. Now I have to be inconvenienced because loss prevention and clerks aren't doing their job. Maybe lower some damn prices and people wouldn't have to steal

The only reason this store gets any stars is because they have mobile scan. This location has a TERRIBLE layout and it seriously NEVER has Diet Pepsi! It doesn’t matter what time or even day that I shop there, they will at most have ONE 10 pack of mini Diet Pepsi cans. And there is a Pepsi factory/distributor (not sure which) right down the street. Get your act together!

Just had the worst experience I ordered a week ahead online catering order and cake. I go to the bakery and the lady said she doesn’t have the cake I ordered and that they don’t do online order..so I’m like then why do we have an option to do it online…she says give her 15 minutes and she will have the cake made like how I ordered it. Then I went to the catering department to pick up my food and all the food was freezing cold… you would expect the food to be atleast warm if it’s a catering order . So I had to go home and it took about 2 hours for the food to get hot passed my party event time. I’m so disappointment I paid close to $300 for cold food and the lady to say she doesn’t have my cake and I had to wait there. I would not recommend ordering catering from here you are better off ordering from an actual restaurant and expect hot/warm food and worth the price.

I shop this store a lot. Normally I would say it is an average store but today I left really angry. I was at self checkout and I was getting ready to scan something I had in my right hand while I was putting scanned items in my bags with my left. The register locked up so I put the item I was trying to scan down on the register and a cashier ran over and starting looking thru my bags like it was an emergency or something. Then she says oh you didn't put that in your bag. I said no I did not. So she clears the register and scans the item for me like I was trying to steal it. Doesn't say oh sorry that might happen sometimes or this is how you can avoid that from happening in the future. Nothing. I am angry because I feel like I was just treated like a criminal. Also, I have purchased fresh cut up watermelon 2-3 times and found out it was old after getting it home and didn't bring it back just tossed it and it is very expensive. They won't ever receive grace from me again when they could not even acknowledge that they were mistaken today. If they are going to expect me to check out my own items and not supply enough manned registers for efficient service they should treat their customers/unwilling cashiers with more respect!

ShopRite makes their discount programs so complicated that they know that you will screw it up generating more profit for them. Why not just price things simply and fairly like Wegmans does. Get rid of all the complex apps and coupons that will cheat you if you don't do everything just right. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

Deceptive practices. Congressional investigation required. Convoluted and complex marketing system.First, you have to be a “member” with an account to get some discounts. Then, impossible to read fine print, they have two systems of paper coupons, digital and analog. It is a horrific experience. Paper coupons are 1950. Does Wegmans have paper coupons, no.If a sign says “3 for $11.88” you should not be required to show a particular paper coupon.Highly deceptive and fraudulent.

I love shopping at ShopRite lots of fresh produce meats and a lot of varieties of things to eat. Come on down and give us a try. Great blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, frozen foods lunch meats sodas chips flowers . My favorite place. Still a great place to shop .

I live in Marlton and always go to the store next to me but, my grandma and I were at the Walmart a couple lights down and my grandma needed something from Shoprite so, I went in here. When I tell you how surprised I was.. I was speechless !! The store is HUGE !! It is like the size of a football field. I've never seen a grocery store that big before. The workers there are very, very nice!! The produce and all other food is stocked so well. The place is very clean. I notified a worker that there was a spill and she cleaned it right up. They also sell liquor if you need to get that instead of going to two different stores. My grandma said she will keep coming back and getting the rotisserie chicken for my dog here because the chickens are big!!

Although one of the better Shop Rites, with friendly and helpful staff and a great selection, it would help if all items showed their price. They also have hot and salad prepared food. Asian and American fair.

Chantay, our cahier, was extremely helpful at checkout! Upon purchasing toilet paper, she enlightened us to a digital coupon available, which had a huge savings value! She actually took our card to the kiosk and added the coupon for us while we ran off to get the correct item. She then sang Happy Birthday to me along with another employee who happened to be checking out behind us. This day's entire experience at ShopRite was truly the most enjoyable shopping trip we can ever remember! THANK YOU, Chantay! Thanks to ShopRite and all the staff there.

Very nice ShopRite. I enjoy going there. I didn't appreciate the customer service I received when voicing a problem. I informed an employee that the register lines were 3 and 4 deep and it was causing a problem for shoppers to get from isle to isle. I was told... that's not my job. Find the person in a black shirt. Really? Guess what..NOT MY JOB EITHER! Some employees need customer service class or work in the stockroom. They shouldn't be interacting with customers.

Saturday September 30th 11:04 am self checkout right near the stand up desk your worker wasn’t kind or polite at all -in fact was loud and makes me want to never come back here. I had a problem at self checkout and she asked me what the problem was lol. You really need to re-consider the people you hire. I left Delran for this store now can’t even go here. I bet Ravitz stores don’t treat you like this.

My Bestfriend and I came here to pick up a cake for her son. There was no one in the bakery section. We waited a few mins then asked an associate for assistance to get a name on the cake. We watched Yaya from The Deli section walk behind the counter looking around for some stuff and then came to us and said did you need something written on the cake. She said the associate went on break . So she said I can try. So we let her because it was just going to be eaten by a bunch of kids (LOL) and we said Thank you so much because she went above and beyond for us. Very friendly and kind. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!

I have made several purchases recently of items containing mold. I always check the dates on bread, but other items that I assume to be fresh, were apparently outdated. I purchased fresh strawberries which contained mold. I purchased their buffalo chicken dip which also contained mold. The shelf life of their condiments & dressings is very short. I purchased a pack of Hawaiian rolls, there was no date on the package anywhere, but I assumed they were fresh as they were available for purchase, they too were moldy. I recently purchased Tide Laundry detergent which should be green in color, it was actually brown. I will now travel the distance to the Mount Laurel store as there appears to be no issues there so far.
