Our boy, Cody, had his first ever grooming today at Woof Gang! Marilyn did a wonderful job, his coat looks so healthy and is super soft! We are so thankful to Marilyn and the Woof Gang team for their patience and kindness to our nervous pup. You can tell that they really care about their clients and make sure that they feel happy and pampered. We couldn’t have been happier with our first experience here and we will definitely be returning!

5 stars for outstanding service and friendliness!! I recently brought our 1 year old GSD for her first real bath at the groomers. She’s had baths before at home but thought the groomers would do a better job with better tools than a measly blow dryer. And not to my surprise she came out beautifully. The groomer Sarah and the owners were so understanding of her age and breed that made me less embarrassed of her tail which had a mind of its own knocking over the card rack, and items off their shelf. Knowing that they were knowledgeable about the breed and their personalities really help ease my own feelings about my energetic pup. I highly recommend calling and booking an appointment for your furry friends.

This was my very first puppy and i heard lots of people recommend this place. They were right. My puppy is being treated like a princes. They care so much and they informed me on every step. I hear people leaving their dog to other places for 3-4 hours. Mine was done in 1 hour and she loved it. Thank you💕

We travel an hour to come here monthly, because the team is amazing and it shows in how excited Pippa gets to see Beth when we pull up. They’ve helped me navigate the doodle hair world with mats and burrs and so much. They also have a great assortment in the shop with enrichment toys, treats, etc. 🐾Also note that… I specifically ask to keep her face shaggy. They do a great clean cut of doodles too!

We dropped off our dog Halyn earlier today for a bath. She received excellent grooming from staff members Gianna and Sarah, both friendly and outgoing. Great expert service provided skillfully, promptly, and with loving care.

This place is wonderful. My dog gets groomed by Diane. She's been grooming him since he was a puppy. He's eight now. The staff is very friendly. I get Oreo his birthday treat from here every year as well. Love them 💕

I brought in my 4 month old puppy for his first groomer appointment today and I couldn't be happier! When I called with questions and to make the appointment a few weeks ago, Frank was very polite, patient and clear. The day-of receptionist Laura and groomer Arianna were both lovely. Arianna came out to meet me, asked about what I'd like done and gave her own opinion, clearly stated what she'd be doing. Laura called with about 15 minutes left in the session to let me know my puppy would be ready for pick-up soon. It was my puppy's first visit so I was a little nervous but he left happy as a clam, clean and all trimmed up. Arianna said he was very comfortable and well behaved, like he'd been there before. I love the set up of their shop, and that they only groom a few pets at a time, it's a very nice intimate environment. We'll be back!

Bucky is treated like a VIP when he goes for our grooming and loves his groomer, Bonnie so much, he barks if she leaves the room. Highly recommend!!!

Have been going to Woof Gang for several years. The owners are very nice, clearly love dogs, and try to accommodate your scheduling needs. Even though they're open 7 days a week, you still might need 2 weeks to get an appointment. One problem they seem to have is retaing groomers. I've lost count of the number of different groomers that have serviced my dog. That said, I've always been generally satisfied with the outcome. My only gripe is they've recently raised their prices, and a full groom is costing me $86 for a 13 lb dog plus $10 that I tip the groomer. I may have to shop around a little bit.

Disappointed to be writing this review. I had a wonderful first experience with Woof Gang! When making my second appointment I specifically requested the same groomer because my pup loved her and she did an incredible job! I even waited 3 weeks for her next open appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by another groomer who let me know they were understaffed and she didn’t know who would be taking care of my dog. She said there were no notes, and the groomer I made the appointment with wasn’t there, so I showed her a photo of his last grooming. I was a little nervous but things happen. When I picked up my dog, I was told another groomer that I hadn’t met groomed him. He looked good, so I let it go again. When I got home and pet my pup he was covered in freshly cut fur. I had to give him a bath because both he and I were covered in it. After his bath when I dried him off I found a large patch of completely shaved fur on his belly. It was clearly a mistake. When I called back to see if he had been bathed, the promised they bathed him and hung up the phone. It’s sad because I was so happy the first go and this experience severely soured my view.

Poor experiences. We’re going elsewhere.Edited to add my response to owner: Your need to constantly and aggressively defend your business is exactly why we’re moving on. You have already spoken to my wife, who is in your database, we’ve had our three dogs groomed with you for years. I’ve been unhappy with Frank’s customer service, who he constantly seems harried, and how our dogs have come back multiple times with their nails uncut, despite our paying for the “spa package.” A simple “I’m sorry you’re dissatisfied” is all that was in order. Instead we got an earful of you defending yourself over the phone. And we weren’t even arguing with you. Please don’t call us again. We’ve moved on.Edited once more: our vet said that the nails hadn’t been cut for at least 4 months. I have noticed after previous groomings that the nails hadn’t been cut as well… indeed, I didn’t report those because I don’t have time to chase down every little problem, and we gave you the benefit of the doubt. So the claim is hardly unwarranted. But this is not about that. It’s about your need to constantly and aggressively defend yourself. First that the vet was out of line, then that i don’t exist as a customer so I must be lying, now that I’m misstating the situation. You should reflect on your tone, and accept that you have a dissatisfied customer, apologize, and move on. Who should I believe, the trained vet who had no motive to lie about their assessment, or you?

I needed help and they provided it. My Pomeranian needed a sanitary trim and a bath. You can guess why! They gave us a quick appointment, and called our vet for the particulars while we were in route. She got her nails done, and her ears cleaned as well. The groomer put her at ease with her kind demeanor, which was necessary after a rather stressful day. My Pomeranian came back clean, cool, and more comfortable. I was so impressed with the service, I set another appointment for her to get a proper haircut. Thank you so very much!

I almost had my dog’s nails trimmed here but when I was waiting for the cashier to finish her phone call I witnessed one of the groomers yanking hard on a dog’s front left leg while he/she was being shaved on the table. She was yelling at the dog for trying to pull her paw away from her, “Hey! Cut it out!”. The dog was panting and looked very uncomfortable. I was so uncomfortable myself that I said “Hey, hey! That’s not ok!”, but she couldn’t hear me over the sound of the clippers. I told the other two employees what I saw and they just stared blankly. I left. I wouldn’t leave your dog here unattended.

I've been to another one of these Woof Gang Chains and received excellent service. First time coming to the one in Chester. Offered to deshed my lab, Sure. Offered to file the nail, sure. Total cost $100. Ok fine. They call me back 1.5hr later. I said that was quick as the last Woof Gang would spend about 2-3hrs on our lab without all extra services. Pick my lab up and as soon as I get home and pet him, he was shedding like crazy still. Nails didn't seem to be filed by much either. He was suppose to get a clip and file. Now I do bath my dog time to time as he needs medicated shampoo. I know for a fact after a bath him and blow dry him, he does not shed barely if any or that bad the time I brought him home. And one month after nail clippings and file, his nails still scratch up things. I just feel services received were sub par for a luxury Dog Spa/Grooming place, especially when I received same services from another chain. Maybe it was just the Groomer at the time.

I took my dog Ranger there for a nail trim. He is a very skittish dog. The only way he has ever had his nails done is by sedating him. The vet said he is too uncontrollable. So as expected he was nervous. They did an amazing job with him. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be going back ...thank you Barbara and staff for your kindness

Archie has been groomed here before and happy then .it has been a while since his last grooming service 🐾Archie was desperately in need of a grooming. I called they took him last minute and when I came to pick him up it was like a total transformation!Didn’t recognize the guy! He was gorgeous. I am sorry I don’t remember who groomed him, but be rest assured both my dachshunds will be changing salons! Thanks so much ❤️🐾

Brought my two Maltese's was very nervous as Bella had had her tongue sliced by previous groomer...Arianna and the staff were wonderful and understanding and made the visit a positive one. The girls looked fabulous - all went well! Will be definitely returning for future grooming.

Beth had been taken care of our Mindy a Bishon-poo when we were going to PetSmart. We stopped going to PetSmart and tried Wolfgang bakery and grooming. And when we were setting up an appointment for our Mindy out walks Beth. Wolfgang Puck had Beth start right away on Mindy since they've known each other for a long time. Beth is very good. Mindy was very skittish to see anybody else as far as grooming goes. We had Mindy for 11 years. We just got a new puppy and we will be seeing Beth again to take care of our new puppy Bella dachshund Shih Tzu mix.Update thanks Barbara, Frank, and Beth. For taking such good care of our little Mindy. She is missed lots. Can't wait for you to meet little Bella.

I love the owners and staff. Super nice people and pet people too!!! They treat you and your pet with so much respect. Only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is cause the prices are higher than I'd like. I still come here though, because the staff are awesome, and my dogs love the treats.

They did a great job with our pup! She hates being in a cage.. they use play pens instead! They were about $10 more than the other places I called but they did such an awesome job. We will be back! Here’s our before and after pictures !

I just moved into the are, and my two pups have been to the Chester Woofgang and all of the staff is amazing, they’re so friendly they take the time to ask questions about the dogs to be sure they make their experience as comfortable as possible and they always note what works best for them for next time. I’m so happy with their staff and service and my boys will be going there for all their grooming needs !

Extremely friendly owners and staff. They are super accommodating and run a great grooming business. I had forgotten to ask for an add-on service during drop off. When I called, although it was a bit late, they added it on anyway. Support your local mom and pop shops. This one is an asset to the franchise brand.
