When it came time to find the perfect location for our engagement photoshoot, Lokal A-Frame stole our hearts with its cozy, relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere. The thoughtfully curated rustic-meets-modern design created an intimate setting that perfectly captured our love and excitement. It was as if the space had been tailor-made for our photoshoot, providing the ideal backdrop for candid and unforgettable moments. Beautiful interiors, surrounded by trees, a well maintained campfire, clean hot tub, an easy-to-use speaker system, cozy deck lights, comfortable bed, convenient amenities and more.The Lokal team's genuine care, quick responsiveness, and warm demeanor set them apart and made our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend Lokal A-Frame to any couples looking for a memorable and relaxed setting off the grid for a cozy getaway to reconnect and unwind. We hope to be back in the summer time.

What a cozy place! We rented this for a weekend getaway with friends and the space was perfect- beds are comfortable, the area is very quiet, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all weekend. The cabin was also impeccably clean, the attention to detail and signage throughout were great. The sound system was amazing and the projector was fun for movies. The outdoor amenities were great too! The fire pit was cozy, we loved the hot tub, we took lots of cute photos under the outdoor lights, and we got to watch the sunset on the beach. I also really loved the ice machine- perfect for coffee and cocktails all weekend. There’s great hiking within a 10-15min drive and some nice wineries nearby too- we can’t wait to come back!

The Lokal A-Frame has been a destination our family has been excited to experience and it finally happened! The location is very remote and a great place to be disconnected and enjoying the company of who you are with. It is also dog and kid friendly, thoroughly cleaned, with comfy beds and clever notes and guides throughout the home :)I think this home would be most enjoyed in cooler weather to maximize the beach area, fire pits and hot tub. We had unprecedented heat and humidity and wasn't able to take advantage of these wonderful features.Rooms: The beds were extremely comfortable and the robes for all guests was a nice touch! I would recommend a variety of sizes (apologies if we missed this) to be body positive inclusive. The family room and kitchen are just stunning, roomy spaces and we loved the ability to play music throughout the home and outside too. The projector is great for movie nights, but be sure to have a techy guest with you, as I found this to not be completely user intuitive.Noteworthy details: All in all we had everything that we need, but wanted to share a few things that we would have appreciated even more if it had been there :) Chip clips, tinfoil for leftovers, coffee mugs, working S+P shakers, railing upstairs made me a bit nervous with kids, hot tub was dirty (maybe clean between guests), LED lights as advertised did not work inside or outside, dishwasher and icemaker did not work (if utilities aren't working and aware it would be helpful to know in advance eg for ice).

I hosted my friends for a "Makers Weekend" at the A-frame. It was the perfect environment for our aesthetic, crafty, girls weekend. I loved the bathrobes and various ways to make coffee/coffee provided. Overall a great experience and I would totally stay here again. A couple small criticisms.. the ice maker was broken, the stove had no fan (that we found) so the fire alarm went off every time we cooked. The sliding doors were really hard to open and close. We never got the projector to connect to the sound system (trying all of the trouble shooting suggestions in the directions) and when we reached out for help the owners were not very helpful. We gave up. The furniture was a bit beat which isn't a great look for Article. The doors could use a repaint. I had very high expectations, so don't let any of these things deter you! It is an awesome place to hang out in the woods. Bring bug spray!

This was the perfect location to enjoy the area.We planned to explore the nearby bike trails but the rain made us change our plans. The A frame is a reasonable drive(30 min)to Cape May and we spent some time there enjoying a late lunch.The house is provisioned with delicious coffee and sparkling clean appliances. The back deck with hot tub and grille and fire pit made for a great family evening. There are relaxing sunsets at the Maurice River to close out your evening.Everything was clean and well organized. It is no small feat to have everything go so smoothly when there is no onsite staff- So go with Lokal!

This is our third or fourth time at the A-frame. As always it was great. It could stand a few refreshes as things like couch are a bit worn but still nice. Also miss having the solo stove on the deck but completely understand. The tv access is a bit confusing. Never did manage to AppleTV but love the projector screen. Kitchen is wonderful as always. We will be back.

The A frame cabin was beautiful and had everything you need. They really thought of everything! The robes were so soft and a nice touch to relax in. The hot tub was amazing. We enjoyed watching tv on the big screen. We honestly were looking for dates of when could come back because we didn’t want to ever leave. The Sonos speaker system throughout the house was great. Overall an amazing stay can’t wait to go back.

Loved our stay at Lokal a-Frame! The cabin had everything we needed to make the weekend a memorable one. It was so nice, we had reservations for a local vineyard and decided to stay in to keep enjoying the weekend at the cabin! If you bring food and drinks you will not need anything else. The cabin is set up with everything needed to enjoy the inside and outdoors! Love that they have the beach area by the river and provide the chairs, wood and blankets for a great evening of star gazing and chatting. The hot tub is great on chilly nights and the deck and green egg are perfect for grilling and hanging around listing to music on an awesome Sonos system! Lokal really thinks of everything! We love the Cape May Location and the Lokal A-Frame did not disappoint! Our next stop is Fishtown! Thanks Lokal Family for all your hard work and attention to details! Your JC Neighbors, MJ

The Lokal team has thought of literally everything to make the A-Frame experience an unforgettable one. This boutique hotel is more than Instagram worthy aesthetics, it’s also clean, fun, family and pet friendly. With a hot tub, fire pit, projector, board and card games, fully stocked kitchen for making meals, drinks and s’mores… this spot is the perfect baecation or solo trip or family fun or girls trip. Very versatile! I stayed for two nights with family and my 9 month old loved it as well just bring a pack and play and you’re good to go!

We really enjoyed our stay. My husband is a Big Green Egg fanatic. This is the only rental I've found that has one. And adding an A frame cabin, jacuzzi and a river to the package made it all the better. We came away from our trip very relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you Stay Lokal!

Such a beautiful home! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It’s in a bit of a odd location, in-between a ship yard and other residential areas, and is not as secluded as one would think. Even so, we never noticed any of the neighbors and we’re otherwise left alone for disconnection from every day life and the constant pull of technology. That said, for those that want to disconnect only temporarily, the Lokal A-Frame boasts great WiFi, a motorized projections screen, 1080p projector, Apple TV, and cable.There is a full kitchen so be sure to bring food to cook either indoors or on the Big Green Egg our back. The property is about 30-40 minutes away from Cape May which has a ton of breweries and winery’s if you want to partake.Be sure to stop at the Shop-Rite in Millville, NJ for groceries. It was fantastic!

Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! Location is ideal, house was perfectly clean and tidy + the decor was amazing and cozy. Small waterfront beach steps away in the backyard (which has a massive deck/fire pit/grill/hot tub/lights etc!) .. My only wish was that I could stay LONGER. If you are thinking of booking this place, do it now!
