A phenomenal butcher shop! Their selection is simply fantastic, with an emphasis on freshness and quality that's evident in every product. The staff is not only friendly but incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, always ready to offer advice or suggestions. I love their shop-made products like hot dogs and smoked meats, but my absolute favorite has to be their breakfast sausages. And for lamb lovers like myself, their chops from Supreme Farms in Colorado are the best.If you aren’t from the area, make the trip. Grab your goods, then head over to Chilton Brewery for a fresh beer, followed by a stop at one of the dozen local farms for fresh produce.

Just discovered this market a few weeks ago. Everything we have purchased is top notch (steaks, hot dogs, ham hocks, wings). And great service. Plan to go through all the products. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Stopped in today and got some hotdogs 10 out of 10 delicious!! Also got some breakfast sausage and whatever the dried smoked meat stick are that they sell well needless to say on my way home I ate both of the meat sticks and they were amazing. I can’t wait to stop back in and try other items from here! Staff were super nice and friendly. UPDATE just cooked up the breakfast sausage and it was AMAZING!

This is truly a first class operation. Aside from the perfectly cut and prepared meats, this is a place where everyone truly knows your name. When you walk in, you are greeted with a smile. With an excellent variety of meats and cuts to choose from, they make time to ensure each guest is able to ask questions and get what they want. If you’re grilling out, making Christmas dinner, or anything in between, they have what you need.

The absolute best butcher shop. Service, service, service. Everything is great, but the steaks are amazing in quality. NYC steakhouse level prime aged quality.Worth that extra stop, you won't go back to supermarket meat.

The quality of their meat and the friendly atmosphere makes this a 5 star butcher. The prices are high, really high, but that's just what high quality meat costs these days - so I can't fault them for it. The bacon is stellar and only about $4 more than you would pay in a supermarket. It will become a staple in our household. The boneless ribeye was spendy, but worth every penny. All in all, it's too expensive to be a weekly trip for us, but it is absolutely worth every dime when it's time for good meat.

Excellent butcher where you can be sure to get the best and freshest product while always being made to feel welcome.I have gotten items from the case (top notch), smoked items (kielbasa for me and smoked bones for the pup), sauces (yum) and ordered items not in store for the holidays - you can't go wrong when you step through the door.Its nice having a local store that is such high quality.

Been going here for 10 years!! The cuts of meat are so so delicious and of the highest quality. Their hot dogs and burgers are year round staples in our home. The Christmas standing rib roast is AMAZING. I feed 15 so it's usually 5 ribs. They will season it, debone it and tie it back up so it's easy to handle. It's melt in your mouth tender and flavorful. My family LOVES IT. So great. PLUS, every time I visit, their butchers are welcoming, helpful and kind. A++

This is our local butcher and needs our support. Their meat is the best quality and never fails to impress. I've put so many friends on to Chester Meat Market and they've all been equally impressed. Is it a little more expensive, yes, but you get what you pay for. They employ proper blockman that know exactly how to butcher an entire animal. I'll often browse the shop and look for inspiration because the meat changes with the seasons and the employees are super smart and will offer cooking advice if requested. I cannot suggest this shop enough. Thank you.

I've been buying my meat and poultry at The Chester Meat Market for 25 years or more. Their steaks, chicken, sausage products and everything the carry is top quality and good value. You'll never find a.better fresh turkey for Thanksgiving or Christmas or a better Rib Roast or a better Ham for Easter. They're the best. Owners John and Glenn along with Nick and staff are not only the best butchers in NJ but They're terrific people to do business with.Easter.

While I did wait in a line to get my Christmas goodies this morning, it moved fast and once it was my turn they paid 100 percent attention to my order and my requests. No need to add to the accolades for this local institution, but I thought of adding my own comment. Our family really enjoys the custom cutting of porterhouse and bone-in ribeye. We ask for 2.5 inch thick cuts and cook them the way we like. Always great meat.

This place is incredible. The guys inside are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help in anyway they can. Great selection of top notch meat. Wont even buy meat from a grocery store anymore. Meat is not much more expensive than the grocery store and quality is far superior. Their tenderized chicken is excellent in the air fryer. So lean and juicy. Ground meat melts in your mouth. Great for burgers. My wife doesn't even want to go to a steak house after buying steak from here!

My husband and I go every week to get chicken. We have now expanded our purchases to ground beef and pork chops. Simply the best. Worth waiting outside to get in (they social distance the line which is terrific). Delicious cuts, terrific service, and a trip back in time to what matters; the owner/customer relationship.

The Chester Meat Market is an absolutely awesome place. It is located in the Chester mall of of rt.206. They have a large variety of meats as well as fish. The guys there are super friendly & will accommodate you for whatever you need. If you want a great steak i highly recommend them!

This place is AMAZING! I cant believe I have lived in the area for 3 years and never knew this place existed. The meat and fish are so fresh and their prices are great. I will never buy meat anywhere but here again.We love the hot wings, chicken tenders, and salmon. I cant wait to try the fresh ground turkey and hamburger meat. Keep up the great work guys!

Best spot around, can't be beat! My favorite is the dry aged sirloin, I get it seasoned. It is my favorite cut/steak of all time. I stopped ordering steaks out because I am always disappointed in comparison.

No butcher shop better than Chester Meat Market. Great butchers and they make you feel at home. Sausages are unbelieveable and steak preference is the aged rib eye. Excellent every time.
