The in store shopping experience is good with a wide variety of things laid out in a way that makes sense. However, the delivery and pickup options are so incredibly inconvenient. The website doesn't allow you to pick your substitute items, so when your order is ready it's missing things that you need and at that point you have to go into the store anyway. Not to mention even if you show up at your chosen time it's either not ready or it's a good 10 minutes of waiting before they bring it out. Then you get a million bags because they put one or two items in each of the bags. I pay the extra fee for pickup because I'm pressed for time and I want to be in and out. I'm willing to pay money for the convenience. You need to deliver the convenience

I work for doordash. The employees here are very slow. I have been kept waiting for 30 minutes and I am told that I can leave if I want. There is racism and discrimination against people, and priority is given to the person who comes after me.

Very large supermarket with not just groceries to take home but a small eatery where you can eat store-bought prepared food.Very large selection of prepared food in various cuisines, including a nice salad bar. In addition, a phenomenal fish counter where you can also buy oysters and lobsters. I was most impressed with the cheese selection as well as the nice liquor store.Plenty of parking nearby. Close to Route 10 and 287.

Been coming here for two years. I love Shop Rite- but I hate this location. Easily the worst shop rite I’ve been to. The prices are higher than some of the high end chains I’ve been to. Unlike other locations they do not bag for you, so there’s a bit of whiplash going from waiting in the longest line you’ve ever seen for check out, and the cashiers going 50 mph as they scan your groceries and they just keep piling up. Of course you’ll have to finish bagging before you can pay- so why not have the cashiers bag any way? If you want to avoid these long lines and stressful bagging hassles you could always go to self check out… if they weren’t heavily policing the new “20 items or less rule”. Make sure you’ve been counting your items as you go because they will tell you to leave the register if they think you have more than twenty, like today when I attempted to use self checkout and was told to leave. How many items did I end up having? 18. So have your list with you as proof unless you want to be bullied away from a register. Ridiculous.

The store itself is clean, well stocked, but the online ordering is abysmal. I keep saying I won’t use it I’ve been coming to this ShopRite for about 2 years now and it’s always been terrible with no improvements. Slow service, they give you a time window to book pick up and the order is never ready. The ShopRite from home staff is always mad and rude and one time a woman even threatened me! Would not recommend this one if you need pick up definitely go to the Parsippany ShopRite who are on time, have a phenomal ordering system, and support staff.

Good store for selection of items but usually so crowded at most times of day. The pickup ordering service is HORRENDOUS. I text that I am here for my pick up window & then they ask me about substitutions via text when I am already here in the parking lot. I placed this order 5 hours ahead, why are you just making these substitutions now? They are always very late bringing out my pickup order and it’s never within my pickup window, which defeats the whole purpose of it - which is something you pay extra for. They only ask you about half the substitution items and the rest they just decide to substitute on their own. Plus, they completely forgot an item which I paid for that was on my receipt and I contacted customer service for a refund and never heard back. Will not be using this service anymore. Need to figure out a better system this is absurd.

This place is great! Clean and esthetically beautiful. If you can’t find it here it doesn’t exist. 😂 The only problem with this place is there isn’t one in Palm Beach, Florida 😂

This is the Disneyland of grocery stores. Doesn’t even compare to the one we have in South Jersey. This one has the most incredible decor, amazing pre made foods, a liquor department…I could go on. I would drive an hour and a half to go to this shoprite again!

Used to love this store, but they can use some customer service training. I’ve been coming since 2016 and never had a bad experience until recently with a cashier named Michael that was by the self-checkout. Because he didn’t understand my issue or me, he chose to be rude, petty, and dismissive, which escalated the issue instead of trying to resolve it. As I’m almost completely checked out, he suspended/cancelled my transaction due to his pettiness and made me have to do the whole entire thing over via Customer Service (at the front) when it could’ve been easily resolved through communication, which I tried. Even after the fact, he was yelling, going off, showing his true colors. I’ve never experienced such customer “service” before. Anywhere, especially here. As someone with a hearing disability and a regular customer, I’m truly disappointed. I spoke with the manager, but I don’t feel like it made a difference. She may also need some training as well in terms of maintaining her team.

The customer service is appalling in this store. I use Shop Rite from home service to pickup my orders. This location has serious management, staffing, and work processing gaps. My most recent order was scheduled for window pickup at 4pm, I receive a call at 3:59pm stating they just started shopping my order. I was already there, waited one hour and receive a text that five items are “out of stock”. I proceeded to go into the store and located every single item listed “out of stock”. I brought it to the attention of Manager Billy who had no response other then he’s not the Store Manager and proceeded to leave me in the home pickup area with a woman that stated “well I already refunded your $4.99 convenance fee”. That does makeup for the fact that your employees aren’t working efficiently or timely, I lost an hour of my time, and that they are clearly incompetent about the “out of stock” items in your store. Clear loss of revenues for the store and poor response from management all around.

A really great supermarket. A well provisioned deli with a great variety of cold cuts and cheese. Hot food counters with a variety of cuisines, including Asian, Italian, etc. The variety of sea food is also large, along with a station selling hamburgers and breakfast meals. Pharmacy and liquor departments are part of store. Plenty of parking is available.

I've never not had an issue with this store, it's almost comical. I even stopped going for months, decide out of "convenience" to try again. Still mess up. Even the website is messed up, smh.Edit: the problems are within the shop from home. Stuff always missing and never delivered on time. Last time, after not ordering for months but decided to do a pick up, I complete my order, got a confirmation, email, everything...they tell me there's no order under my name there. And pretty much "couldn't" (wouldn't) help me beyond that.

Looks like a brand new Shop Rite location. Definitely the best interior I've ever seen out of all the other Shop Rite stores. Very clean, with lots of registers. Lack of self checkout is a strange thing for me. Also, one of the places that still can't figure out that it's not "10 items or less" it's "fewer".Decent selection of liquor and beer here too.

Don't do delivery!! They take no ownership of any issue. Then I called the store spoke to Satisha to only get attitude and tell me to deal with doordash for bad delivery. I ordered from shoprite NOT doordash. How does this become my problem. Double checked my app there is nothing that noted doordash. A complete waste of my time and money. Left my groceries in the driveway, app shows they are on route waited (0 MINUTES) not their, much later get a message delivered.

This store has lost my trust. I recently bought a rotisserie turkey breast that I occasionally purchase from here. I have a very specific food allergy and I know from the ingredient label and prior experience that I can eat this and not die. Well this time someone in the kitchen decided to add extra spices to the turkey and neglected to change the label. Thanks for almost sending me to the ER, ShopRite. I called and got no answer I contacted them online and got no answer and this review will surely result in the canned response they have preloaded. Do better ShopRite- you have enough solid competition now that I don’t need to shop with you. Most produce across the street is half of your price. Give me a reason to be loyal as I used to be.

"Unexpected item in Checkout" is all I could hear trying to checkout via their self-service. We were all backed up as they had to unlock multiple self-checkout registers. I purchased 6 items for $20 and it got stuck twice!Do yourself a favor and go across the street Lidal!

Big shout out to Vicky from catering & Andrew the chef for helping me out in a bind and getting some amazing chili made for 70+ soldiers who were in the field training for 3 weeks and preparing for a deployment coming up!!! The guys loved the chili and appreciated a nice warm meal for the first time in 3 weeks!!! I can’t thank you enough for supporting the troops & helping me out last minute ❤️

The seafood department has some great deals on Salmon Filets. Checkout my Cajun Salmon, roasted at 400° for 14min on the bottom rack of my toaster oven, on a parchment paper lined tray. Purrfect!

The primary reason this Shoprite has become my preferred grocery is their Mobile Scan and Pay. Using their app & you phone you can Scan your items as you shop, go to the fast lane & check out quickly. The last several times they have said they need to "audit" my cart. This means taking out everything I had packed into my bags & rescanning them. Shoprite has redeemed themselves. Their system is working better & they are working with me.

I think this is the best supermarket in this area, variety of products, fresh food, salad bars, Indian, asian, american, Italian tables to choose from. Well everything you need, small pharmacy, alcohol section, and delicious roasted chicken and fried as well..WalMart should visit this store and learn something..because they’re not doing good in New Jersey.

My favorite grocery store.40oz Tomahawk steaks for only $25 is crazy good deal.They have everything you want, even have a liquor/beer aisle.They also give free fruit to kids and have a free kids drop off place.

Love this ShopRite, in the ready made food category it beats out the new local Wegmans (hands down)! This is not an exaggeration.The deal of the century is their BBQ, 1 protein and 2 sides for $7.46!!! Its more then enough food and its delicious!Pretty sure this is a Flagship location for ShopRite. They have an outdoor kitchen setup where they teach classes and shoot commercials. They have a full bar complete with a dozen TVs with live sports, They have have an oversized selection of grociers, they have a full liquor store complete with local an awesome local IPA selection, They have a daycare for the kids, and they have an amazing bakery section complete with custom cakes.We used them for my son's first birthday cake (2 tier with Crown) and smash cake, they came out amazing. Pics included below.

Racist cashier!!! Today I went food shopping and a cashier name Jimmy asked if he could help me bag my groceries. I declined. He then asked me to move my shopping bags from the cart, I did. He asked if I could open my bags, so he can make sure there’s nothing in my bags. I said no, he proceeded to touch my bags to check to make sure I didn’t have nothing in my bags. I said, don’t touch my bags. He said he needed to make sure I have nothing in there and that my bags are all balled up. He also said that he forgets stuff all the time to so he wanted to make sure I didn’t forget that I didn’t put anything in my bags. I said you will see once I open my bags, to bag my groceries up that there’s nothing in my bags. I couldn’t believe what I just experienced .I’m 8 months pregnant and I thought aw, at first he’s so nice offering help. NO!!!! He wanted to make sure I didn’t steal anything. The customers before and after me who weren’t the same race as me he never asked them to open up their bags. I’m heartbroken and still shaken up by this experience.

Ok....yes, most meals i have start with a glass of wine. Now this was a NEW experience for me. I was in Morristown, NJ for a funeral, but a resident suggested we go over to "ShopRite"....yes you read that correctly....ShopRite for dinner. They have a restaurant inside the store! Friday was $15 buck lobster dinner....i swear I cannot make this up!ShopRite has "come up" and in a big way! Not only was I surprised, i was having dinner in a supermarket, but you can order from a menu, or go over to the food bars and grab grub to bring into the restaurant. I opted for a salad....forgot the picture, but i did managed to get a pic of the wine.....a girl's gotta have her priorities straight... ;)

I have always gravitated to Shop Rite. In my MANY years of household shopping from Nutley to Wharton to Point Pleasant to Livingston and most recently Morristown. This store is by far the worst for customer service. Floor staff got annoyed when asked how to use the digital coupons. I was directed to customer service where it took at least 5 minutes to even be ready to address me another wait until they decided “Your phone is not working”. Seriously. My last straw and my last visit to your store ended after a 1 hour shopping excursion and standing in line with 2 people in front of me. Th the gentleman in front of me looked at me and said “you know she’s closed”. The cashier clearly saw me unloading my items onto the belt and never said a word. I asked “what should I do? Put everything back in my cart”. She looked at me with a mean scowl and shrugged her shoulders without a word. That left me to leave my full cart item on the belt and told her now it’s her problem. I indicated a problem to the floor manager as I exited the store never to return to your establishment. There are many other choices where my time is just as important to them and a much more pleasant shopping experience. Lengthy but a necessary explanation. Not the first time one of your cashiers were unpleasant. More examples for another time

BIG, clean and lots of variety. You can save on household goods and basic daily necessity but avoid evening and weekend (it's very busy). Hot food, cold food, oyster bar, sushi bar also offer variety of "quick food". wine selection not so shabby
