The team at Pawticular are communicative, on-time & give a stellar cut. My pup was months out from her last grooming with only an at-home chop-job done in between. Her grooming was done to exact specifications and I was even able to text in photos / videos for reference.The shop is spotless, calm without overcrowding of dogs/crates & doesn’t even smell like a groomer. Highly recommended all-around.

The owner and her assistant were nice. They cut my mini poodle’s hair shorter than what I wanted, but explained that it was due to matting on his body so I was completely okay with that. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized the hair on his head was cut noticeably uneven. I’m guessing this is just something that was overlooked. I also noticed random longer hairs on his legs that weren’t cut. Overall, his haircut looked a bit rushed so I was disappointed.

Koda had his nails trimmed this morning at Pawticular and had an amazing experience. He’s not the biggest fan of getting his nails trimmed but today was the hands down the best nails trimming experience he’s had so far.Thank you again! We’ll be back in a couple months for sure.

Summer is a rescue and gets nervous around the scent of other dogs. She is afraid of being sent back to the pound. Joanne treats Summer like she is her own dog. She is in, washed, dried and out in under an hour. She is the only groomer we use and will use in the future! Welcome to Cedar Grove, Joanne!

I can't praise Joanne and her team at Pawticular pets enough!  Joanne is truly passionate about her profession and business. Joanne always responds quickly to me on the availability of scheduling appointments. I love the fact that Joanne takes detailed notes on how you like your dog groomed.  Joanne always takes time out to talk to me every time my dog gets groomed.  The grooming is very professional and the one on one with no crating is a great bonus!  Keep up the great work at Pawticular Pets Grooming!

Love this place. Its the only place where I feel comfortable leaving my Cookie. the grooming is excellent, but what I like the best is my cookie isnt put in a cage....when I get there at my scheduled time, she goes right in. When Cookie is done, Joanne calls me and I go and pick her up. I refuse to leave my dog for hours in a cage at some place....Joanne is so kind. Love her

I wouldn’t go to this place if I they laid me. Here is my first experience here and I’ve gotten my puppy groomed in 6 places across 4 countries:1.Booking experience (5/5): my wife told them my dog is 30lb, well behaved albeit extremely timid. Emily gave me an appointment for 3wk later and said she’d call back if there were cancellations before. Indeed she called a week later and we got an appointment a week after that2. Grooming visit (negative 5 gajillion): entered store, exchanged pleasantries and was told my dog is bigger than what was communicated so price would be $85, not $75. I felt a little uneasy but at this point I was committed so I agreed. Should have gone with my gut and walked away because 20m later Joanne called to say my dog’s hair was matted close to the skin which meant more time and therefore more money: price went to $120 plus another $5 for brushing teeth since “I do this on my own 1 on 1 and it will take more time”. Another 10m later and another call: “my dog is not behaving, my wife was dishonest because the dog is not 15lb” and a lot of other things that frankly don’t matter: telling a customer that they (or worse their spouse) is dishonest is to me, the kiss of death. I’m not sure it even matters whether it’s true or not (it wasn’t) you don’t say that to customers3, Pick-up (1 on 5): i went back to pick-up as soon as I was insulted, was diplomatic about experience and in her defense Joanne said she didn’t want to argue despite insisting my dog badly behavedOverall experience: you’re better off going to mechanic. Maybe my dog isn’t the most well behaved: we can have that debate. However, telling someone they’re dishonest is no way to talk to someone let alone a customer. And, you certainly can’t say that and say “I don’t want to argue”.

Joanne has been grooming our Beemer for a few years now. She does a fantastic job with him and he always looks great! No cages so it’s like he is at home. She finishes in a very reasonable amount of time so o can run some errands and pick him up. She is a lovely person so it’s great for all of us :)
