The staff is extremely rude. I interacted with Raj and Bavneet. They were extremely rude. Zero empathy and zero courtesy. Waited 1.5 hours to get my medication. Reason : because they forgot to press the express. No apology. Attitude galore. Just horrible.

If I could give the CVS Pharmacy a negative zero I would’ve, gross and disrespectful tall caucasian pharmacist / tech ALWAYS with a nasty attitude with customers ,curses and degrades to staff. She definitely needs to find another profession, like a Corrections officer! No more business at CVS Pharmacy Carteret!!!! The reviews are true.

Pharmacy manager was yelling at me and telling me not to be rude at the same time. stay away from this place.they messed up my medication like every other time, had to spent an hour with my insurance to get it fixed before I receive my medication.Pharmacy staff is very rude. not sure about rest of the store.

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! Don’t ever have your medications sent to this location. The woman who helps you is so rude and disrespectful. She doesn’t want to do her job and can’t be bothered. The insurance didn’t cover the medication and instead of trying to help by explaining which medications were covered or even reaching out to the doctor herself. She made me figure it out and then go to my doctor for them to resend the prescription and then her see if that one would be covered and if it wasn’t she wanted to me do it all over again.

The pharmacy staff is by far the most incompetent, unprofessional, and inconsiderate staff I’ve ever interacted with. The make the most egregious mistakes, they’re frustratingly unapologetic and rude. I have no idea how this location has 2 stars. It’s baffling and alarming how bad they are at their job. Prescribed medication is not a joke there is zero room for error, delay, or a lack of common sense.

I was made to use self checkout, instead of being serviced. The Atm was out of order. There was no sign and the cashier remained silent while I struggled to get my debit card released. A few customers was helped at the register not SELF CHECKOUT and I was still at ATM trying to get my card out

Explained to the pharmacist that I have Covid and have been waiting on my antiviral medication for 2 days now. The lady closed the gate on me and said they’re closed for break. Now I’m sitting in CVS spreading Covid because I refuse to go home and come back for the 3rd time.Happy holidays and happy COVID everyone! 🎉CVS will not be closed for 5 days once you all catch the virus. Cvs in carteret is the worst pharmacy in the area. Do NOT go here if you need medications in a timely manner. They will take hours and sometimes days to fill a prescription. So disappointing because I’ve worked in 3 different pharmacies and I have never seen a lazier/rude staff. If you have to go to a CVS save yourself the stress and go to a different location.

DO NOT GET YOUR MEDS FROM HERE OR YOU WILL SIT IN WITHDRAWALS UNTILL THEY FEEL LIKE IT.. didnt have a problem with the other techs but This girl with glasses and blondish brunette hair and she’s probably hispanic and a little short this girl was very disrespectful and unprofessional and all she is, is a pharmacy technician that obviously thought I couldnt tell she was mixing her personal feelings with professional because im also a pharmacy technician :) so i knew exactly what was going on… it was a young girl who obviously thought she was smarter than everybody else

This is the absolute worst pharmacy. I am constantly being told I have a co-pay when I do not. I have to argue with the pharmacist and expalin this is a constant problem. I have to pay phone tag with my insurance and CVS just to be told I was correct the entire time and it was the pharmacy who is imputting information in wrong.Even once they figure out what they are inputting wrong in the system for a copay they are rude and rush you off the phone. I will be changing pharmacies shortly because this one is unprofessional and ill managed.

Absolutely worst and rudest pharmacy staff. I waited in line for my covid 19 test for 45 mins. When I got to the window I was 25 mins early. The the lady was rude and made go around the building to get back into the line of cars. Horrible. Wouldn't come here again. Linden much better.

I went inside to pick up my prescription that I get every month. The manager NAVNEET KAUR came into a conversation I was having with pharmacy tech. She was saying I didnt have insurance she becane very nadty with me. It caused me to go in my car and get myself in order to deal with them for my medicine. This lady needs to be replaced. She has no customer services skills and she doesn't know what she's talking about. This is the worse pharmacy open.

Very unprofessional pharmacist (navneet) and not patient friendly at all. Try to get COVID 19 test and I was denied services because I was 10 min late and I was told other people were waiting which is not true. I told her that there were no body behind me waiting and I was told get out of line and to reschedule and wait another 4 days to get tested. Very disappointed with cvs. Ride aid has a better services and friendly staff.

This Pharmacy is thee worst EVER!!! Hours suck, techs are not helpful at all! Wait time is horrible, I sat on the phone after being asked to hold for 10 mins before I hung up! Called back the next morning and is put on hold for 5 mins before speaking to a woman to only tell me, they can’t transfer my script because she doesn’t see it??? How if I spoke to someone that told me it was on back order and she wasn’t sure when it would come in so call my doctor and see if they can send in something else. Now someone else is saying it may have gotten deleted, so I now again have to call my doctor back! DO NOT WASTE your TIME or money here!!!!

You can clearly see the kind of reviews this pharmacy gets 😂, if your from Carteret just go to Walgreens or take the drive out of town to get your meds. The whole staff is rude and incompetent especially the store pharmacist. For this pharmacy having descent customer service skills and giving meds to people is rocket science.

My wife just got her COVID-19 Vaccine shot today at 1pm EST, and her arm became swollen and bled quite a bit. I believe the needle hit a capillary. I actually can't find anything online about bleeding from the injection site but I've read that you DO NOT want the vaccine directly pumped into the bloodstream! And the one administering the shot is supposed to "asperate" the needle to determine if a blood vessel it breached. The one who provided the shot at this CVS said that they don't asperate the needle bc their needles do it automatically ::shrug::. Disappointed in this experience.

I wish a rating of no stars was available. Pharmacy told me "corporate" wiped out my insurance information and made no attempt to apologize for it. Was told they would not take it over the telephone, I had to go in to correct what they did. (I was going to ask someone to pick up prescriptions for me, or even was going to try their delivery service).Other times when I call with questions, they are clearly bothered by the telephone call.And they wonder why they are losing so much business. I used to go in and get my prescriptions and grab other things I needed on the way out. I will not be shopping there any longer they clearly do not care about their customers and are even bothered by them at times.

I really don't understand this pharmacy. Every time I call to pick up the prenatal vitamins for my wife, they tell me it will be ready in 10 minutes. After getting there 15 minutes later (thats how long it takes me to get there), they ask me to wait for another 30 minutes! Seriously??!! Why do I have to wait after you guys tell me it will be ready! For god sake, the vitamins are in your shelves just fill it up! It is not like you actually make it from scratch. I need to switch to Walgreens

If you want good service... Go to the CVS on St George's road or a different pharmacy in general. This location will waste your time and close the drive thru gate in your face. They'll make you wait for things that they don't even have in stock... Oh and they'll tell you AFTER they already made you wait all that time. What a joke. Not sure how they haven't even been shut down or taken under better management.

Long waits for everything. Rude customer service. Made me wait over an hour to get cough meds for my son. Got home and found they had grabbed dimetapp off the shelf and slapped a prescription sticker on it. Really!? That took an hour to do??

The worst pharmacy ever I hate the fact that I have to deal with so unprofessional and so rude staff only because of my insurance force me to deal with them.. they have 0 customer service so poor manners I have been trying for 2 weeks to take my insulin shots and till this point I haven’t got my medicine cause they are horrible ppl and lazy to give me my meds I am so disgusted

This place really sucks never pick up your medication here cuz you'll die before you get it this place and they make you wait so long make you come back and forth tell you it's ready in 20 minutes to come back half of your medications already the other half are not place sucks so bad it's not even funny seriously she was a 24 hours CVS on Eden Avenue or something else close to this area doesn't not the one you want to go to

I would leave Zero stars if that was possible! The gals at the pharmacy counter became indignant when I asked for what is shown on the stores website as IN STORE! NO HELP and RUDE!!! Stay away!
