Very pricy but they have a big variety of authentic international foods from Dominican Republic, Mexico and other Latin American locations. If you are looking for tropical fruits and vegetables this is your place.

Expensive, overpriced, &the meat is usually (not always) brown or rotted...the Success rice boxes have flies in it...the people are always friendly though & it’s convenient but I only buy specific products from here...no fruits, no meats, no veggies only canned foods, certain boxed items and bread....I really wish them success since they are trying to provide a much needed convenience for our community but we deserve better quality.

REALLY NICE BIG CLEAN ORGANIZED STORE. I JUST WOULDN'T BUY ANY OF MY MEATS THERE I RATHER GO TO SHOPRITE TO BUY MY MEATS. BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS GOOD A LITTLE EXPENSIVE BUT IT'S OKAY SOMETIMES THEY HAVE DEALS. I LIKE IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE LOTS OF GOYS PRODUCTS. I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO SHOP AT UNIVERSAL SUPERMARKET. Best supermarket in Pennsauken in my eyes. Staff are friendly. The floors are kept tidy. The fresh produce have some of the best prices in town. There are a multitude of products, including products from other countries such as The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Mexico. Just a great supermarket overall.

Prices are cheap regarding meat, the only problem I have is when my husband goes there to buy meat when we go through it, there at like 10 pounds that is bad that we have to throw away.. that's not cool.

They always have GREAT sales! I forgot to get a pack of bottled water that was for free for over $100 purchase the next I went back and the manager gave it to me with no hassle. Great customer service!

Thank God for Universal Food Market. I am able to be picked up so that I can shop for my family and when I am finished they bring me back home. It's a blessing to have a grocery market like this in our community.
