It's a store in the inner city of Camden. Just get your necessities and get out! There's a Burger King across the lot. Often times homeless people are outside when you enter or exit.

The store doesn't have change/ coins.And if you don't have exact change you either surrender your change or don't make your purchase.At the end of the day the cashier counts the cash and ends up with all the extra change that customer's give up.Very poor management.they should shut it down and stop robbing customers.

When the store is properly staffed work enough cashiers, then it's a pretty decent dollar store with a nice variety of products. The biggest chance is if there is 1 cashier or a few because this place is steadily busy most of the day and many times I've went in to make a quick stop only to see a line at checkout stretching around and down the aisle because of a single person at the register. So all in all, it's just a matter of flipping a coin if you will be in and out quickly or waiting 20 mins in line.

I love the convenience of this store, it makes it possible to get certain things without having to travel too far. The staff is decent; be prepared to be in line for a few. There's almost always a long line of customers with just one register open -_- They are usually well stocked (on items I tend to visit for, at least) all in all, glad it's here.

Well deserved to the nameless employee and supervisor that have zero customer service skills. If a customer can not locate an item it’s best to be active and show them. A little kindness goes a long way. An attitude can lead to a dispute that could have been prevented had you just shown a little kind gesture. God Bless our youth with attitudes that hate their jobs.

This is the worst family dollar. The store is always super junky and disorganized. Empty bottles of soda and fast food cups on the shelves. I can't keep my bag with me because they think I'm going to steal despite being a frequent customer there. Huge carts of boxes blocking the displays I need to get to constantly. The shelves are often empty and don't have the things I want.The employees are rude. Apple Pay is constantly down which is annoying because they take my bag & wallet away. I hate going to this location.

Family 💵. In north Camden is always full it's not enough cashier's the lines are long , and I hate the people outside begging for money , but it's ok to shop for your quick things you need to just pick up if you don't want to go all the way to the grocery store.

Decent Fa.ily Dollar, they try to keep it clean & keep the shelves full. The guys working the floor are helpful but some of the cashiers are not all that nice. Borderline rude actually & grumpy.

Only go here if you have an hour to stand in line. To be fair, I only went here twice, the first time I walked out after waiting in line too long, the second time I waited close to 10 minutes. Running two registers at all times would be helpful

The store manager is very rude and unprofessional!! No customer service skills what so ever. I couldn't believe it when she told me she was the store manager. Very low class!!!!!!!! Only good thing about that store is the prices. However I rather go somewhere else and pay more money and not deal with trash!!

This family dollar is the WORST!!!!! ONE CASHIER WHEN THE LINE ALL THE WAY DOWN THE AISILE AND 1 CASHIER,CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, THE MANGER ON DUTY IS IGNORE AS HELL. THIS STORE NEEDS BETTER SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT!!!!!!! I WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE and it's no way like this place by FAR EVEN Dollar general or walmart or any other store in the state. I made a purchase item frebeeze was on the shelf marked as 5$ yet it scanned for 9$ and change. Cashier called management to register for me to get item as marked on counter she said I couldn't get it for 5!$ mind you all businesses supposed to give item as priced. So I live in Philly thus is jersey family Dollar they get one star rating not hood management

I only go to the Family Dollar here in North Camden because it's next door to my apartment building Northgate II in Camden NJ. Almost every time I go to this store waiting to check out is extra painful for me because they only use the one side for checking out even though there is a cash register in the center of the store that's only opened during holidays. Today however one of the employees tried to clap back saying she's tired of hearing people complain about staff being slow. If she really feels like this then she should resign from working there out of protest to me.

This is the main FD I go to because of it's close proximity to my apt, and my mom's house but they almost always have a long line with one person working the registers ,so be prepared to wait a few minutes.

Staff is very rude I have never heard thank you or been greeted at the register.. Always slow... everybody is stocking when the line is snaking into tha aisles and only one cashier. I avoid this place unless I have no other choice!

On Saturday they had $5 off coupon on $25 or more of purchase that's a good savings, if I buy something and my total is 25 I'll get $5 off and all I have to pay is 20 dollars. THANK You Family Dollar 🤑

I like going to this store bc the employees are very nice and polite and helpful store is clean just sometimes a little messy because of their truck but overall I recommend the store to anybody to shop
