I’ve been a Rite Aid customer for many many years and today may have been the worst exchange I’ve ever had with a pharmacy associate at the Florence, NJ location. I requested a refill for my prescription at 9am and never got confirmation it was filled. I called at 3:00pm to check if it was ready. No one answered the phone. I decide to drive down and get in line. The associate decides to start yelling across the floor asking everyone’s DOB. It felt inappropriate to do that and made the process that much longer instead of handling each person one at a time. Finally get to the counter and she's asking me all the questions I answered when she shouted across the store. I asked her why she needed the info multiple times when she’s already asked me. She decided to get snarky with me. I let her know this was ridiculous and then she proceeded to ask who I was talking to. I told her I was talking to her. She then walked away and made me wait for my medication longer. She finally rang me up and I paid for my item. She continued to mouth off and give me attitude and I had enough and said some choice words. She then took my medication and refused to give it to me after it was paid for. This went on for about 5 minutes and refused to give me my medication. I think it was unprofessional and potentially illegal to do so. I will not be going back to any Rite Aid location for my prescriptions nor shopping there again.

Horrible experience. Pharmacy is always short staffed. Take approximately an hour to pick up my medication only if they didn’t make a mistake processing your medication which happens almost every time. Drive through is permanently closed.

This pharmacy is terrible. They never answer the phone, they don’t check their messages, they don’t contact you when your script is ready. They literally do nothing!

This store is going through a make over and its looking great. The pharmacists are nice and helpful. It is also very clean. Only downside is the pharmacy sometimes seems to not have everything in stock and it takes a coule days to get it. Overall a great Rite Aid.

This place is the worse. Walgreens is pretty bad so i moved to these guys. They never have the meds is stock. I've been waiting for one since Jan. 29th. And they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE.

The pharmacy is amazing!!! I had an emergency with my dog and needed drops that only human pharmacies have. I called the had it. I went there and in less than 45 minutes they were in my hand. And on top of it, they did GoodRX without me even asking knocking down the cost.

Trying to get someone to answer my calls, been on the phone for exactly one hour just to ask if my immergency meds is ready and I am on hold for an hour 🙃 😅

Very nice store and nice people at checkout. I just wish they would keep the same pharmacist. Never the same one twice it seems. I’d feel better talking to one I got to know. I may switch to Boyd’s because of this.

While Rite Aid isn't my pharmacy (I've got issues with Corporate) of choice, this Rite Aid is a Great place to shop. The staff has been together for several years which not only gives customers knowledgeable people to deal with, but also gives off a more hometown feel that isn't normal with Chain stores.They've got the usual pharmacy stuff, with the prices in line with what You pay at other chain pharmacies. I find myself coming here bcuz of the people.

I waited a week for my prescription. I called spoke the pharmacist ask where it is. He says it’s ready. My wife goes to pick it up they know nothing about it. I call all day no one answers the phone. I drive over they say that my insurance is expired. Instead of telling my wife that they say they don’t know me. Lucky it’s only blood pressure medicine what’s a little stroke?

Just received my booster shot! Thank you CVS for asking the right questions and giving easy access to fill out my application prior to my appointment. Rite Aid on route 130 and Florence Columbus rd in Burlington County refused to give me the shot. I told them my immune system was compromised due to medication for a chronic illness. I was told by the pharmicist I didn't qualify, because I didn't have cancer and didn't meet the CDC guidelines. I will no longer give you my business!

Before we started shopping the fall 50% off sale, I asked the manager some questions to be sure what's what. I had to call him multiple times and he was not happy to assist, which led to him giving false information and us thinking we were overcharged, when in fact the manager knew certain things weren't part of the sale and failed to give me that information until we got to the register with our baskets confused.I only gave 3 stars because of how helpful the young man who checked us out was. Had he been the manager, surely, the store would be much better.

This used to be such a good pharmacy, now it looks like they are always understaffed and it could be said that some of those that do work here need some customer service training. The system works well for repeat prescriptions, but not for dropping off prescription you want in a timely manner.

This was a great pharmacy when I moved to Florence but not anymore. They mess up my medications, automated system calls when scripts arent actually ready and the wait times can be long. They messed up my seizure meds today and I have NONE now. Prior to this I had acute bronchitis, my doc put in my script as urgent and it took 5 hours for the call!! All of the staff is new and seems as if they need more training. I have had it. For the sake of my health, I personally need to change pharmacies.

I am so thankful! I have messed up with my Tdap vaccine’s date and came in one week earlier but I still have got it. Pharmacist was so nice to me! Great work!

I would give one star if I could. Everytime I go to get a RX filled there is always a problem. It's always someone elses fault too not the person I am talking to. They have told me at 830 pm I could not get an RX filled. When I left it there they almosy LOST it. It took them almost an hour to find it. Now I give them my new insurance card when I dropped off my RX and when someone goes and picks it up they then tell her that they need more information. Why wouldn't they have called me before? Very unorganized and unprofessional. I will NOT be going there anymore.

I would give no stars at all. I moved to Florence nj about two years ago. Almost every month I dread to even go pick up my scripts. They leave voicemails saying my script are ready. I send my fiancé to pick it up they make her wait 45 mins?! Also newest women working their has no common sense or understand hippa for that matter. She speaks very loud, calling types of medicine patients take out loud, infront of other patients waiting. Also the pharmacist gave me hard time getting my medicine, even after my dr electronically signed it over. Her response was, I called your dr but she never called me back? They don’t have to call you back if they send it electronically. Things need to drastically change at this location!

This pharmacy never picks up their phone, never had my prescription ready and the employees always end up saying something different. Getting medication should be something that is taken seriously and done diligently, which it is certain not here.

This place is not a good pharmacy. They don’t always have medicine in stock and make you wait. When they are supposed to make calls they don’t and when you pick up medicine make sure to ask for it all because they will only give you one item unless you ask them to check for the rest of your prescription. The staff in the pharmacy part are very rude and act unprofessional but the staff in the front at the registers are ok.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned but as far as the pharmacy is concerned, you get zero personal care. You barely even get a hello. It's a shame when your pharmacist doesn't explain a thing to you about your prescriptions. Just rings you up and your on your way.

Pretty scary! WRONG pills in my prescription bottle!! My prescription bottle was labeled correctly with my name and name of medication but the pharmacist put the WRONG pills in the bottle. So even though the bottle was labeled right, the pills were WRONG!! This could have been life threatening. I will now be checking everything about my prescriptions no matter where I get them, including my name, name of prescription, dose, and most important the CODE NUMBERS on the pill to make sure it is the right pill for my prescription - Internet has a place where you can do this.(Some pills even look identical in shape and color so I wouldn't rely on just that). I have come to find out that this has happened in other pharmacies including Walgreen's and Wegmans. This review should get no star, but I had to pick one to get this review posted.

Is it convenient? Yes- that’s its 1 star. Should you drive anywhere else to have a good experience? Yes. They don’t readily have prescriptions available and could care less about being helpful. Go somewhere else.
