BE AWARE! They sold me a sick bird that died within 3 months, had zero compassion, and took zero responsibility. I really wish I would have read all the other reviews about them selling sick birds.I purchased a baby High Red Sun Conure, and she died in under 3 months of having her. A necropsy revealed a congenital deformation of ventriculus that was not compatible with life.Note: before she died, I went to the store sobbing, and was met with zero compassion. I was concerned that if it was some sort of virus, that the rest of the batch could be sick. They said their birds were tested, tried to blame my other birds (who are all totally healthy), and sent me on my way.Stay far far away from this business and this staff! Definitely consider going to the other bird store in the area. I have had nothing, but positive experiences with them.Her name was Scuttle, and even though we had her for a short time we miss her to pieces.

Omg......this place is AMAZING!!!! the girls, very knowledgeable and AND they work with you. They take the time and explain things to you....and I didn't feel pressured. They were patient with me. I would definitely recommend this place.( I already did)...I do hope the owner knows that he has great workers working for him.

Staff is so helpful and kind. Huge selection and reasonable prices. Our Green Cheek Conure "MoMo" from them and he's perfect . We love him so much.

Went there to purchase a pineapple conure, when I ask the lady at the desk how much the bird was she gave me a price but it was sold along with the cage I told her I didn't mean the kids I have one at home and she said first I must show her pictures of my cage 👀 what? Thas rude don't force your cage on me . And besides the cage I had at home for the little bird was a mansion compared to the cage she was trying to sell me! From now on the only thing I'll be buying from them is the food because it's actually good an my BIRDS love it🤪

If you have a bird or even thinking about getting one, this is the place to go. They are extremely knowledgeable, the birds are friendly and have the best food. I am extremely thankful that we stopped in. Our bird is on the proper food and has even been happier (even for an Amazon). Best place ever!

I have been going to Bird Paradise for a few years now so I figured it is time to write a review! I have had pet cockatiels my entire life. When my Buddy (my best companion since childhood) passed away (he was a senior birdie) I was heartbroken. My family decided we should go try to fill the void and buy a new bird. I do not recommend this, HOWEVER, I did end up picking out a new friend that day and came back a few days later to take him home. The store is quite the experience, I really love that you can interact with the birds, some are very friendly, some not as much which is to be expected, they are all individuals and different temperaments. I have had my Misty for 3 years now and he has brought a lot of joy to my life!!!! I am passionate about birds and have met many birds here I wish I could have taken home with me. I have brought my friends here too, when I bring Misty in for groomings and they enjoy seeing the birds (and small animals although they no longer have other animals for sale). What drew me in to this store was that they test for 3 common diseases, their sanitation practices, and they do not let you take a bird home without a discussion on proper bird care. The store is not perfect, though, and I will explain what I mean. For one, some of the food I have purchased had pantry moth infestations.. It infested my house once, not fun. Another thing-the store gets very busy especially on weekdays and it can feel overwhelming and difficult to get attention from the staff. Sometimes staff seems aloof or cold, or sometimes simply busy and unorganized. We are all human and cannot be cheerful and perfect at all times, but it can be offputting at times especially since I suffer from anxiety disorder. The only other problem I had was when I brought Misty home, his tailfeathers seemed bent somehow, and when we put him in a cage he did not know how to perch yet. So we had to put a tray over the cage grates and he sat there for a day or so. I am not sure if he was supposed to be able to perch when we got him.. oh well, he has adapted well to his new home as king of the household.. I enjoy coming to this store so I am sure I will continue to make the drive. I have included some photos

Amazing bird store. It has everything you need for your birds. I purchased two baby parakeets at the store. I have a cokatiel COCO and we recently lost our old parakeet. COCO was becoming depressed so we decided to get two. He is so happy again singing and he is very sweet with the new birds luna and blue.

A lot of deals available and all the workers are very knowledgeable about the different birds. They had African Greys, a macaw, cockatoos, cockatiels, conures, etc. Most of them were babies (oldest I had seen was 4 months). You can get all kinds of toys and perches for your birds. They also have cages and aviary perches (like the size of the room). They help socializing the birds by having them out or you can ask to hold different birds on the different cages. Be prepared for it to be loud! Not for the faint of heart or ears! They have plenty of package deals where you can get the bird, a cage, a bunch of toys, a couple perches and even food with some of them! Great deals and very nice and helpful staff.I can't wait to get my own bird! ❤️

The store has anything you need for your pet bird and them some. I actually also have two chinchillas and I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the toys I buy for them here. At a great price too!Back to the bird stuff though. This store is huge! The toy selection is great and they even have an area where they have toy parts in these bins so if you want you can build your own toy.The staff was nice. It was our first time in and while we were checking us out they applied a coupon to our purchase. They let us know they have promotions on their site and that's where she got the coupon from.Highly recommend for all your bird needs 👍🏼

I take my African Grey parrot there for grooming and they always do a very nice job. They also have a huge supply of toys and other products. Would highly recommend!

This place is amazing! If you own a pet bird like I do, this is the place for all things birdie! Now, I'm saving my money to buy my parrot a new cage. If you like birds, come see all of the wonderful birds of all species at this store. They even had a toucan there the last time I visited - just like Toucan Sam! You can get up close and personal with the birds/parrots/cockatoos, etc. A wonderful experience! Check out their online store - I buy their Ultimate Blend for my pet cockatoo.

I love this place! We just stopped by on the way back home and I have to say, the birds are friendly as well as the owners and workers! They were so nice to us and so pleasant. They know so much about their birds and the history and take such good care of them as well. This is really a great place all around. Thank you for the memories, it was a pleasure to visit 😊 ☺ 😀

So it wasn’t my 1st time at BP. I purchased 2 rainbow finches a few months ago and they are happy and healthy. Today I was helped by someone I didn’t encounter on my first visit otherwise I would have never returned. Black folk be warned. Your hackles will raise and those feelings of the r word will spread. Today I picked up one of the birds that perch in the sales floor. There were other races doing the same however within seconds she walked over to me and my husband who was taking a picture and removed the bird because of my locs and jewelry. Okay. So I wanted to purchase 2 owl finches. I showed video of my aviary, 6.5ft by 5ft wide. She refused to sell them to me. I have been a bird owner for over 20 years. I have a second aviary that will be finished in a few weeks. She. Refused. To. Sell. Me. A. Bird. Smdh. Of all the nerve. I left 3 stars because of the quality of service I received the first time there. If I had encountered her the first time I probably would have wanted to picket BLM out side its doors. So disappointing. We drove over an hour and a half. I will never darken their door again you can believe that.

I really love this place so much! It is just an amazing experience to go there and see so many feathered friends. I bought my sun conure from here 3 years ago and she is an amazing loving bird! Definitely recommended.

How I love Bird Paradise, let me count the ways....Knowledgeable StaffHands-on access to lots of birdsGreat food optionsExcellent varietyWhen we decided to add a feathered friend to our family the staff at Bird Paradise helped us along every step of the way. We made daily visits after our newly hatched friend was able to be handled and they taught us how to properly feed him. 6 years later and our little gentleman, Cheyenne, is one of the best behaved african grey parrots you'll ever come across. That is due in no small part to the care and training that Bird Paradise taught us.

BP doesn’t disappoints from the second you walk in the door, wait as soon as you hit the parking lot. Lol. Me and the beautiful bride to be are bid people. I’ve been visiting BP for as long as I can remember. It’s far from us, we don’t care. We make a day of it. You should too. The staff is so knowledgeable and passionate. It’s not a pet store, it’s an all immersive bird experience that you need to experience for yourself. If you ever though of getting involved go visit BP. Bet you have a bird inside a year! We did, we do. BP truly sets itself apart from the others. A lot of places have a strict hands off policy. BP wants you to handle their birds. All in all, prices selection and staffing are all on point!

Went on father's day with some intention of getting a parrot . The ladies were so helpful and knowledgeable. I ended up leaving with a Sun Conure and cage set up. I guess I really did want a parrot. He really likes when my daughter stops and says hi and let's him out.

The most amazing "shopping" experience for me of all times! Visiting Bird Paradise can be an all day event. The fact that they have every conceivable food, toy, perch, book and cage pales to the actual, physical presence of the birds themselves. They have hand fed birds of all sizes and species, from tiny finches, parrotlets and parakeets to conures, African greys, eclectus, Amazons, cockatoos, macaws and toucans. The store encourages responsible interactions (don't forget to sanitize!) between customers and birds. Most of the staff are wonderfully knowledgeable and passionate about birds, and willing to share what they know. I love their policy of not selling unweaned babies, and I had the joy and excitement of visiting my Slender Billed Corella, Bill, as he finished weaning - it was also a wonderful way to develop a bonded relationship with him before bringing him home. I have lived with Bill for 12 years now. Thank you, Bird Paradise, for giving me my BFF!

This place is worth the far drive (from where I live)! This store has THE LARGEST selection of bird toys I have ever seen; besides the pre-assembled toys for sale, they had rows and rows of smaller toy parts so you can customize your own toys for a great price! They were very friendly and I loved that you can interact with the birds in the store (the cockatoos were great with kids touching them). The staff were courteous and seemed very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back for more supplies in the future.PS- I appreciated how the staff wore masks and upon entry, you spray down your clothes and dip your hands in disinfectant.
