My boyfriend and I truly had the most beautiful and amazing experience at Serene Horse Ranch. Everyone was kind and welcoming, Ed even showed us their baby goats and new born horse which was such a sight to see! The whole experience was comfortable and awesome, our guide Andy was so nice and friendly! He took a bunch of great pictures and videos of us throughout our ride and was great to spend two hours with!!! You can really tell everyone feels like family here and there is no doubt it was worth the trip to get there. I will definitely be coming back!

Me and my family had a great experience! Ed is a very nice guy and the guides although young were very friendly and Andrew did a great job helping my mom feel comfortable since it was her first time on a horse. The horses were beautiful and the walk through the trails were beautiful and not boring. Great experience overall and would recommend to all. We will definitely come back to this location.

Took my 9 y/o son and brother horseback riding while staying in Milford. Ed is the best! He is friendly, attentive, patient, and paired us with horses best for our needs - I used to barrel race, my son has had a few lessons, and my brother never rode a horse - and the horses we rode were perfect for our respective experience levels. We did the 2 hour trail which was beautiful and Ed taught us a lot about the land we passed through. I am so grateful Ed took pics and videos of our trip so that the 3 of us could focus on our horses and really enjoy the scenery. I will definitely come back here when we come back next. Definitely want to do this in the fall or winter. Thank you Ed for an amazing experience we will treasure. God bless you and your family.

Highly recommend Serene Horse Ranch! My daughter and I just recently went on a one hour trail ride and had the time of our lives! The owner Ed was fantastic with my daughter being a beginner rider. Sasha who lead us on our trail ride was amazing and took over 200 pictures and videos of us along the way. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and make sure we had a good time. This was the most incredible, authentic experience I have ever had horseback riding! What an amazing host, Ed, and such gorgeous horses all around the property. He knew the personalities of all, the way they rode, the relationships amongst the horses- he truly cares about the horses and wants you to have the best experience possible. Very informative, kind, and taught us a lot about the land also while we were on our two-hour trail ride. I never felt rushed or uneasy. It was a full experience and one I will never forget! Will absolutely come back, and hopefully with my daughter!!! Highly recommend!

This was truly a magical experience. I booked a 2 hour trail ride with a group of 9 of my friends. Ed and his team were so amazing and inviting. The trail ride exceeded my expectations but what made it even better was how safe we felt with each of the horses. This is hands down one of the best trail rides ever. I'm an experienced rider and my partner had never ridden before. Our guide Andy took us through gorgeous terrain and many water crossings. Ed, the owner, let me ride his horse Panama who was an absolute dream. It is so clear how well loved and cared for all of the horses are on the property. Note that you have to get a riding permit because you will be going through state lands. I've never had to do this before but SO worth it. Most beautiful ride ever. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Ed for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful horses, and Andy for an excellent ride!

This ranch is beautiful and so well kept. The owner and all staffs are friendly and very knowledgeable. We had 6 adults and 4 Kids(7-10yrs) and they were able to accomodate all of at the same time. Kids were able to ride the horses on their own. The horses were very well trained and looked healthy. All the services they provided were amazing and couldn't ask for more. They even took 200+ photos and videos for us! The scenary , amazing horses and wonderful owner/staffs make this ranch 5 STARS for sure! We will definitely go back next time. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

My mom, nephew, boyfriend and I had a wonderful 1 hour trail ride experience! We rode in the woods along pathways and through streams. This place is the BEST!! Great ride through beautiful woods and streams. ED is awesome,friendlylaid back and has a special relationship with his horses. We had a great ride beautiful scenery and then just hung out after loving up on all the animals. Goats, dogs, pig, ducks. Felt like we were hanging out with friends. I'll be back for sure!!

The best trail ride we have ever had happened this past weekend with Ed Diaz at Serene ranch. The horses were beautiful, healthy and well trained. The experience was meditative — the sound of the horses’ steps along side (and then in!) babbling brooks, the scent of all the different trees and plants, the gorgeous fields on a magnificent September day. Hickory was my calm and peaceful horse. My family also rode other beautiful horses. We left wanting more, with plans to be back in October for fall foliage. This place feels like a hidden gem. Warm, inviting and peaceful. Thanks for an amazing experience!Edited to add: came back a month later in October to experience fall foliage. Another amazing ride with Ed Diaz! The scenery was off the charts!

The Serene ranch was amazing. First the owner Ed was generous, fun, and just a good person all around. The guide Andrew was also fun to ride with, knowledgeable and made our trail ride even better than we can have imagined. Our horses Princess and Hickory were calm, strong and healthy horses. The scenery was beautiful, riding along a creek through a field of wild flowers and then into the woods. This was not just about riding horses we made friends with the staff and will be going back for sure. If you are in NJ and want a real horse riding experience from a real ranch and not a corporation type place. Go see Ed and his team.

Had an amazing time at serene horse ranch. I spent my 4 anniversary here on a two hour trail ride and we both absolutely loved it. The scenery was incredible. We went into streams, fields and saw breathtaking views. Horses were very friendly and as a first time rider i was a bit nervous but the trail guide took it slow instead of a more fast pace ride. they also offered to take photos and videos for us throughout the whole trail. It was overall an amazing experience! Would 100% recommend for anyone that wants a new fun experience!!

The ultimate experience! Extremely thankful. My little family and I can’t wait to return. Ed was amazing! Fun, energetic and very welcoming. It was my 7 year olds first time riding a horse and he was scared. Ed made him feel comfortable and safe. Midday through the 1 hour trail ride my son was leading the pack! 😆 He won’t stop talking about it. He says it was a life changing experience for him. I recently took a trip here with my husband and our daughter. This was both of their first time riding a horse. The owner Ed was extremely nice and made my daughter feel safe and confident. It was an amazing experience, the staff especially Andy was extremely friendly and helpful and a very sweet boy. He was our tour guide during our 2 hour trail. My family absolutely loved the tour, will definitely be coming back multiple times.

I wanted to take a friend horseback riding for her first time and decided to try this place out because of how good the reviews were and I'm glad we went! Everyone was so overwhelmingly friendly. Prices are very reasonable and trail rides are your party only - not mixed party groups. It made for a more delightful ride with great conversation. The horses appear very well cared for and the property is maintained nicely. We will definitely be going back in the fall for more riding!

This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Ed (Owner) was friendly, inviting, welcoming and made us feel very comfortable with horses. He took the time with each person in our party to introduce them to the horse and to be sure we were ready and good to go for a wonderful experience. Ed was very knowledgeable, he comes from a fifth generation of horse trainers. Horses are world championships tournaments horses, very healthy, and in great shape.We selected the two hour ride and it really was incredible. We crossed a field of beautiful yellow, purple and white flowers, went through refreshing rivers, and epic woods. Serene Horse Ranch was surrounded by several National Parks, the trails were majestic. There was so much to experience, by the end we felt one with our horses. My wife wanted to take her horse home, lol.We highly recommend Serene Horse Ranch and definitely plan to return with friends. Thanks Ed for such a magnanimous experience!

Absolutely breathtaking! The trails are gorgeous especially in the summer and fall time. This is our 5th time coming here and we can’t get enough. It’s such an amazing time, with such friendly instructors to have great conversations with. We love being able gallop as fast as possible, it’s thrilling. Being able to relax and enjoy nature with such an amazing ride. We can’t wait to come back again for the winter time! The drive is worth it every time we visit.

Great experience. Every person at this ranch is on the same page when it comes to customer service. Owner is super friendly and takes his time to train and make you feel comfortable with the horses. Records you free of charge which was really nice. Trail was great too. Open fields, river cross, etc. Will definitly come back if I do horseback riding again.

This place just gave me the best horse riding experience I’ve ever had (I’ve had many) The owner is very kind and his horses are very well trained and you can tell he takes really good care of them. Our guide was Heather, she’s the best!! She knows a lot about horses and is a very pleasant person to talk to. The trails are so beautiful, it’s like a dream. I can’t wait to go back!!

Ugh where do I even start. This was the most magical horse riding experience I have ever experienced in my life. I called early morning and Ed was super helpful to help me book a ride that same day. We were booked for the sunset ride, and it was a weekday so it was just me, my boyfriend, and the girl leading the trail. What I appreciate is that the girl leading the trail, gave us plenty of space which made the whole experience even more intimate. She was always ahead of us but made sure to stop & check that we were okay. The horses were well behaved and we felt safe the entire time. We rode through parts of forest & through golden fields of wild-flowers. I wish we did the two hour trail ride. This is definitely one of the best places for trail riding EVER!

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and she got so excited she almost cried.We met with Ed, he is a gentleman who took his time and guided us through his beautiful farm, showed us the horses, picked specific horses for everyone in the group and taught us how to ride.It was my first time riding a horse and I cannot be happier about this experience.I recommend everyone who’s looking for an escape from the city to come visit this ranch. The price is reasonable and the fun is beyond what you expect.It took me back to my grandma’a backyard and now I know where to visit when I miss that.Enjoy!

We had a great time here trail riding! Horses were very friendly and well trained. The farm has a great atmosphere. Sasha is a great guide, took so many videos and pictures of us. Would definitely come back! :)
