Don’t run a saint Patrick’s day promotion if you won’t let people use it. There was coins around the store for you to find for a prize. One per customer. Me and my friend from too family’s wanted two check out separately, but he wouldn’t let us because he was too lazy. We had the coins but he wouldn’t let us get two prizes from them because apparently a dog bone isn’t enough to count as an item. Very disappointed.

Branchburg location gets 5 stars. Flemington 1 so I’ll compromise at 3. Went in yesterday to get a specific item I had gotten in Branchburg. Didn’t see it went to the counter to wait my turn in line (1 woman helping a gentleman check out the other was speaking with another customer). Imagine my surprise when the 2nd woman sat down at the computer and didn’t acknowledge my presence. Ok maybe she was in the middle of something. I’m patient I’ll wait.However, another customer walked in. She immediately greeted him by name (nice!) then stands up to help him. I said excuse my I was waiting for some help. The woman at the register said she’d be right with me. The other woman continues to help the gentleman.I left. As I was leaving the woman helping the newest customer told me that the other woman was helping those at the register. I explained I wasn’t waiting to check out. She seemed indifferent I told them I was leaving and just going to go out of my way to go back to Branchburg where the staff are over there top helpful and help customers the order they arrive

Dustin is great - very friendly and has good recommendations for food and treats. Washed our dogs here which was super easy, they have high quality supplies, and good dryers. Will definitely return

I stopped in here before picking up my lab puppy. As a first time dog owner, I had a basic idea of what I needed but was so thankful for the help of the people at Barkley's. The employees and manager were extremely helpful with explaining everything. They helped me pick up all the basics and some good chew toys, treats, and a collar and leash. This place might be a little pricier than buying from chain pet stores or online, but the attention and care from the people working here is so clear and makes it worth it. It's also really nice and convenient that they will deliver for free (for $50 purchase or over) to specific local locations. I will surely be returning or using their delivery service when I need more pet supplies.

The BEST PET STORE!!!! Ever since my daughter got her little maltipoo last year, Barkley Pet store is were I purchase all my goodies for my grandpuppy. Everything is the best quality. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. I love going to Barkley's Marketplace for my precious lil Katara!!!! Great place!!! love it!!!!

We are so happy to have a Barkley's closer to us! We get all of our pet needs for our lab mix here. Store is clean and stocked with high quality food, treats, toys, and more! There are even beautiful baths for you to use for your pup. Staff is helpful and knowledgable, answering any questions or helping you lift some of the heavy bags!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, I needed a pinch collar for my boxer, but Barkley's doesn't sell pinch collars...I wanted dry shampoo for him, but they don't sell dry shampoo...Then I saw a cute dog paw washer on Amazon, but I would rather shop in store, but Barkley's doesn't sell those either and the woman in the store didn't know what I was referring to when I asked...

Wish I could give them more stars. Called last minute for a dog food delivery when I was extremely sick. Dustin told me not to worry and he’d drop the bag of dog food off at my house. Thank you so much again Dustin. That sorta kindness in todays world is rare. Awesome staff, products, and awesome store.

LOVE THIS STORE! Always a friendly greeting from the staff when you walk in, and always an offer to help locate items in the store, and always a thank you for stopping in. Great selection of products which the staff is very knowledgeable about and happy to offer suggestions and help.The DIY dog wash station is always clean and well stocked, as is the store.

We could not be more thrilled that Barkley's opened a store in Branchburg! We appreciated Andy's help when we visited the Flemington store, but driving down there was not always convenient. Now there is one close to home and we are grateful that Dustin is there to help us select the right food for our 3 cats (2 who are nearly toothless seniors). I am so impressed by his caring and his knowledge of his products. We know when we go to Barkley's we will get high quality products and helpful, friendly service.

A welcome addition to the shopping mall and fills the void left by a previous pet store. Management was super nice and made you feel welcome during your visit. A good place to buy peacock feathers in bulk and to pick up my cat’s favorite treats!

My wife and I used to frequent the Pet Valu business before Barkley’s took over. After hearing that today was the revival of a local pet business, we had to stop by. We were warmly greeted by Dustin (manager) and Donna, both of which were always a help from the original staff. They wasted no time in making us feel welcomed, and they are well educated on the product available as well as how to treat various health ailments. I cannot stress enough the fact that if you are looking for a new pet store to call home, the team here will absolutely take care of you and your pets. This is hands down the most talented group of retailers that I have ever come across, and your trust will be fully realized. We will be repeat customers down the line! Branchburg is truly lucky to have this store.

I went into Barkley’s desperate to find something that my suddenly picky pup would eat. Dustin and Donna were so helpful and Dustin found something for me to try. He didn’t just pick something, he explained his reasons for choosing what he did, and he was right. My dog LOVES her new food! Great service at Barkley’s!

Dustin and his team are great, really glad they opened up and I've got a local place for good quality dog food and a place to wash the dog. Much cheaper and easier to wash my dog here than go to a groomer.

Terrible service, my dog had an accident and I tried to clean it so I reached for the paper towels and this spray they put RIGHT NEXT TO the paper towel without any labels or signs that say “not to use” because obviously I wanted to clean it so they don’t have to, and this old lady kept cursing and yelling at me, and even when I apologized about using the spray (cause obviously If you put a spray and paper towels together people are going to think it’s there to use it for these accidents, since most pet stores do so) she kept acting rude and cursing, such a RUDE lady, very very unprofessional. Won’t be coming back to this place.
