I don’t think that my expectations could have possibly been surpassed more than they were. We took our dog in to Tor for a full spa day and to say she was spoiled rotten doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface. A full bath, blueberry face scrub, her nails cleaned and trimmed, a blow dry, a new little flower for her collar and to top it off, a chew toy that our dog Leia may or man not have stolen on the way out.Our dog is somewhat reactive and they even slipped us in for a private session to alleviate any possible stressors. All the while running a scented dehumidifier that relieves dogs stress immediately. Think of it as doggy aroma therapy. (Cuz it is.)The price is competitive and absolutely worth the service. The skill and professionalism of the staff was 10/10. The business is run on an entirely fear free ethos and most of all, our dog hardly wanted to leave. How many groomers can you say all of that about? I think you would be hard pressed to find an overall better experience.Paws and Anchor forever!

Our girls just love their "spa" days at Paws & Anchor in Bradley Beach. The entire staff is so very loving and caring to the pups and parents. We never worry about them while in their care and they always come home looking and smelling wonderful!

The only groomer I have fully trusted with my old man. I have a 16 year old pup that has severe arthritis and dementia and Tori uses a special all natural mud mask on him to relieve his pain and make him feel comfortable. Every time I pick him up it’s like he is a puppy again running around and wanting to play. The best decision I ever made was to get my dog groomed regularly by a professional and Paws & Anchor is exactly that.

We adopt older dogs. 6 of my dogs have been customers at Paws & Anchor and they have done a fabulous job even when a pup or two is having a cranky day. Current customers, Ginger and Nellie are well treated and get many positive comments on their cuts. Happy there and wouldn't go anywhere else!

My dog Sam loves coming here - he’s always so excited to go get groomed! I’ve brought my 2-year old Brittany, Sam to Paws and Anchor since I first got him. He loves them and he always comes back looking so great, clean and happy. Tori takes really great care of him - I can tell he because he can’t wait to come say ‘Hi’ to Tori and he’s just so super happy whenever he sees her outside.

My extremely opinionated bulldogs love everyone here! I’ve had a lot of random issues with my dogs (medical and such) that affect grooming and they are always so awesome about accommodating them. I really appreciate that they never treat anything like an inconvenience. They have a lot of fun options like nail Polish and their boutique has great stuff. Thanks so much to everyone there!

Absolutely LOVE Paws & Anchor - wouldn't go anywhere else in this area. Everyone there so clearly loves our puppy, does a phenomenal job takes so much pride in their work, and the prices are exactly right. We brought our baby Bernese Mountain Dog here for his first grooming appointment ever - he even left happy! Just took him yesterday for his second appointment - he was filthy from the beach and they did a brilliant job in about an hour! We were amazed! We love this place, love the team there - looking forward to our pup growing up with these guys caring for him.

I had a tough time finding a rabbit groomer for my Angoras in the area and a friend recommended Paw and Anchor. The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was, but what really sold me was the care they took with my bunnies. Nicole and Val were so knowledgeable and patient throughout the process to remove their matting. They could tell when the bunnies were too stressed to continue and made great recommendations to keep the matting from getting so bad again. I’d give them more stars, if possible!

This place started out great: easy appts, cage-free, kind, cute pooch at pick upTheir policy changes and grooming skills have taken a nose dive, though. At this price point you would expect a superior haircut and service: both have become subpar to say the least.They will not quote prices, they shave too closely, require 6 wk intervals between appts— even when they shave your pup too short AND shorter than requested and years of records and without tangles.Service was super poor last time we went. They opted to close the shop without notice one afternoon and then tried to charge me a cancellation fee because they missed my phone call.It was never cheap— but still worth it. Now it’s just overpriced and overrated. Super disappointing to see a once good place fall so far.

Friendly, knowledgeable groomers who know what they're doing with all breeds! A lot of groomers will just shave goldens, but since they're double coated you really shouldn't. They know how to clean him up without shaving him down to a buzz cut :) Cute toys too!

I used to take my Pablo to Petsmart for hair cutting and it would take HOURS, and there were often missed spots or awkward shapes with his haircut. He always hates having his haircut because he gets worried and has separation anxiety, but I feel so much better bringing Pablo to Paws and Anchor! They do not have cages, and a single groomer is with Pablo the entire time. Only ever takes a maximum of two hours! The quality of the haircut he gets is amazing, every time. Not to mention how incredibly nice everyone is at all times! I love Paws and Anchor, and will always bring Pablo here!

My dog has never received a grooming that we’ve been 100% satisfied with. They always manage to mess up the only 2 specific instructions we give. And then have the nerve to charge $160+ for it. Once they reschedule our appointment for the wrong day and charged us a cancellation fee when we didn’t show for an appointment on a day we didn’t even book it for!We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Paws & Anchors is the best grooming salon I have been to. I have a 16 year old cockapoo, Louie, who has a bad heart and who I had not groomed in 6 months because I was so scared he was too fragile. A friend told my about Valerie at Paws& Anchors who specializes in Senior fur babies. She was so gentle with Louie and kept me up to date with texts. I picked up Louie about 2 hours later (he was pretty matted and we decided to just shave him which is less traumatic.} He was happy and looked like a puppy! This place is the best and worth every penny.

Can only say THE BEST things about Owner Nicole, & Grooming Techs Tyler, Brittany & others! EVERYTHING they do w/ your pet is in "full view", on passed platforms you can see. I take a friend's (was a rescue) dog there, who had NEVER been groomed; & was TRAUMATIZED, BITING etc, bkz never "socialized" to tolerate grooming. Nicole did NOT want see Booey "suffer"; and recommended he be "veterinarian RX-medicated", b4 his grooming. Nicole & her VERY CARING, PROFESSIONAL staff set up "private" (no other dogs in shop) appointment, to reduce Booey's agitation. Combined w/ the vet-Rx I give Booey in gradual doses 3-4 hours b4 appointment; we now have a WELL-GROOMED 3-y/o PUPPY who does not experience TRAUMA during grooming. Just THE BEST, CARING PLACE!

A great place for your pet to have a one of a kind grooming experience. The facility is a cage free, stress free environment to bring your best friend for the best spa day. They also provide private appointments on certain days for grooming cats and/or pups who may get nervous or overwhelmed in a full shop. The staff is delightful and is always kind and very accommodating to your pets needs! The retail shop is also full of accessories, toys and treats!!

We take our little guy here for grooming since we now live back in the area. They are always friendly and treat our little guy like he is there own. They do amazing work since my dog has anxiety so I am sure it is a struggle for them at times. Paws and Anchor can be pricey, but you get what you pay for here. Friendly service, great grooming, fast, and all around great little shop. They even have treats and toys for your fur babies too!

Great experience with Paws and Anchor. I was really worried about getting my dogs hair cut after a previously bad experience with a different groomer. At Paws and anchor they totally catered to my worries and made me feel comfortable and were great with my dog as well. And of course my dog’s haircut came out adorable! Very friendly, clean, cool, relaxed place! Would definitely recommend!

I love this place! Their level of skill and professionalism I have not found with other groomers. I brought my late cocker spaniel “Magic” here and now bring my boy Bailey a year and half old golden and both always came/come home looking and smelling like a million bucks. Tori grooms my pups and after getting to know her I can tell why she chose this profession. Her love for dogs and all animals through her volunteer work here and abroad can be seen in how she treats and interacts w Bailey and I’m sure all of her other clients. Paws and Anchor 5/5

I love this place— I t’s convenient to my house, the staff is friendly and accommodating and most importantly my dog Cooper looks great every time! The past groomers I was going to, sometimes he’d look good and other times not so much. Paws & Anchor is consistent every time no matter who cuts him, and they take direction well if there’s something different I want done. I highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Rescued my first dog about a year ago and haven’t taken him anywhere else! Paws and Anchor treats every dog like their own. My dog loves it so much whenever we pass by on a walk down Main Street he cries because he wants to go inside. Staff is awesome.
