This is shop rite of bound brook I went in to buy some things and milk. The cream o land milk was 7 and 8 days past the sell by date. Really no excuse for this. These pics were taken on March 24 2024.

Huge center with many food options. Particularly they provide delicious cakes and fresh flowers at reasonable prices compared to other shops. We get customized cakes for every event in our home. Only thing concerned is the people at the kitchen are unable to take the orders properly, we need to stress a lot for explaining them in detail.

We bought a hamburger and chicken sandwich meals and a soda . But they said the cashier guy wasn’t there . So we went to eat food in little table area. When we’re done we were going to bring up the stickers to pay up front when done shopping . The cashier Aiden comes over to our bottle of soda and grabs it ! I told him to put it down! I don’t appreciate him touching my bottle of soda with Covid and flu going around! I know we are going to pay when we check out up front!Last Thursday. The manager told us that we should pay up front there’s no more cashier back here anymore.So we brought the stickers up along with soda and paid at cashier in front of store.This time your employee that was working in this area said it’s company policy to pay first and then eat it!I understand this! But once again no cashier at time! Why didn’t she tell us we can’t purchase the food until a cashier was present??I don’t appreciate being call a thief! We are very honest people and definitely going to pay for food and drink!You ought to either have a cashier present at all times or don’t sell the food or drink until there is someone!But you don’t want to lose out on the money do you?? Since no cashier was present! Or don’t sell food cooked anymore!!!

This is huge shoprite in a boundbrook off rt 287. I visited today during working hours and it very busy and many workers inside helping customers.many checkouts open and self checkouts available as well .large parking lot

Every time I order curbside from this location they change my pickup time by nearly 2 hours. I don’t know why they can’t seem to get it together at this location, but It’s become a big waste of my time. Do yourself a favor and go to a different store if you’re ordering online.

Went to pick up my catering order 5 pm last night in Bound Brook and they couldn’t find the order. I had the confirmation number so they could locate in the computer and it was in the system. Asked me to wait 30 minutes to cook the food. 1 hour later they finally had it done and they thought $10 was a sufficient discount for my time and aggravation.. terrible experience.

Perdue Chicken Breast on sale, they put the generic clear packed breast in it's place at the sale price. Meat department is poorly run, London Broils bought before on sale had thick pieces of fat facing down. Perdue does much better with their products, don't put garbage in it's place and expect to see people coming back!

Beware, check your dates. Plenty of out of date items on the shelves and my #1 HUGE complaint is the meat dept. Every single time I’ve purchased meats(didn’t matter what it was), something had to go back. I buy my meats at the end of my shopping trip so they don’t go bad but lo and behold, I got home again with two packages of pork chops that smell rancid when I opened them up (and they weren’t expiring until 2/3 days later). Absolutely disgusting. Back to Somerville SR for meats.

Place is going down hill. The self checkout line is the worst. They never have enough lanes open. It's always a chaotic mess and the tellers always have a judgmental demeanor like you're trying to steal. Prices are outrageous in the baking aisle and the selection is lame. The reorganized the layout of the store and it's trash. I'm off to Wegmans.

Went there today to get some pre-made foodfrom the hot bar. Got 2 egg rolls. 1st one was fine but the 2nd one had a twist tie in it. Luckily I didn't choke.

Never seen such a clean Shoprite. I always thought WOODBRIDGE Shoprite was amazing until I came to this place.Selection is amazing, place is Uber clean and everything is very fresh.I'm a big Costco shopper but this Shoprite might just win me over.

The store manager James boles is a discriminating person, along with another male manager who walks around being rude to employees. What a horrible place to work at. But every dog has their day. A lawsuit will definitely be filed. Good luck working here.

Went around 8 a.m. not crowded at all. Nice produce! Got a veggie platter for a SuperBowl gathering for $14.99. Great price with dip included! Good prices on meat this week.

What / where is the schedule to buy balloons at ShopRite?Today 1/27/24 6pm walked up to customer service to get balloons. Everybody refused (4people to be exact) to help me out, especially the two ladies on the back of the register gossiping gave me an attitude when I asked for help.If there was a negative one star, this would be the one .

My review went from low 3 star to high 5 star. My cashier Jacob actually took time to help pack my groceries. He also asked for my shop rite price club card. My hands were full of items so he entered it manually.He separated frozen and breads from other items. The old style cashier...HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS. THSNKS JACOB.As long as on the subject. Not all employees are helpful. Asked where the jello was... sent completely wrong direction.

Every time I go to this location they seem to have run out of items such as breads, fruits and vegetables, etc. And what is left is old. They really don't stock up when items run out and it seems to happen every week. I often wonder why I even bother.

I visited this store on February 25, 2023. There was no pasta at all. The shelves were completely empty. It didn't look as if anyone was trying to restock it either. Also, I went to buy a loaf of bread. The date on every loaf was February 20th. I know it's a sell date but how are you selling bread which to me is expired? There's no reason for this other than someone isn't doing their job. You have too many customers coming in daily for this nonsense. This was my first and last time coming there. Please do better before you lose anymore customers.

Oh please, I love this place. I like the selection of products especially the huge variety of prepared foods. They cook because I won't have to.If kosher foods are on your radar you can't go wrong.The staff is helpful, they will go the extra mile for you. I got a sandwich specially made for me. You can't get that kind of service from other places.This is worth the extra time driving and miles to me.

How lazy can your staff get? Minimum wage going up to $15... and they make you bring your own bags, yet the employees now don’t feel obligated to put the food in the bag. It’s ridiculous. Used to be cheaper prices, they put it in the bag. Now it’s the opposite

This review is for the ShopRite from home service. We started using ShopRite from home in October. There is no care put into the items that are picked out. We’ve received meat that’s on the sell by date, rotten produce, missing items that we were charged for. We have a 1 year old so the intention was to make our lives easier, but we just wind up making more trips to the store now to return the spoiled products or go buy things that were missing from our order that we were charged for.When we go to pick up the order, the employee comes out, throws the cart at me and walks away. They don’t take the time to help me put the groceries in the car. Unfortunately I think we’re done with this service less than 2 months after starting.

They have most foods i need and like. Produce sometimes suffers, but everything else is good.Update 03/31/22 A 12 noon visit got some good buys. Have to arrive after 10am to be able to get some food items.Update 07/15/22Got there about 9:10am got some good food. 10am would be better though more food items out.Update 09/26/22Got there around 9:30am got some good food again. They had a pack of 2 giant steaks $20 I would have gotten that but a little too much for me. Found a lot of other good stuff like a pound of bacon $4.95 good price. If I remember I'll take some pics next time.Update 12/15/22Got there around 9:30am got some good food again. Prices went up on some stuff like butter and water but I guess that's all over now.One thing I didn't like this time though was they rearranged a lot of products again. They moved a lot of products to other isles. That makes it harder to shop because then you don't know where the products you need are. You have to wander around the store like a nomad hunting for goods ha ha. Lucky they don't do that too much maybe once a year or do.
