I took my precious toy poodle here, Niko who is 15 years old. We went here about 5 x. The haircut was not a typical poodle haircut, but niko, by all accounts seemed ok here. and that's all that mattered. I felt he was being taken care of well. And that's a fear when you drop your furfamily off. That they won't be treated kindly. But she really seemed sweet on him, and the prices were reasonable/standard.The last time I was here she called me to tell me he was ready for pick up. I was in town in Bound Brook putting my groceries in my car in the parking lot of shoprite -this is 5 minutes away at least, but there was an accident somewhere and I was stuck on the union ave and took me 25 minutes!! She called me 3 times while I was in the car and I told her I'm on my way there must be an accident . I got in, paid , picked him up and I tipped her very well. A few months later when I called to make an appointment she never returned my call ...I called 3 or 4 times - at this point even if she ever returned my call. I would never go back because it's a thing now and I dont want any poor attitude to effect my Nikos care... . In addition she was unable to expel his anal glands, which was a service that was offered but unable to be provided, so ultimately i had to go to my Veterinarian, who is an hour away (has grooming service too, but that drive!)Well, you don't need my money anymore than I need your service and now I'm just cutting his hair myself because he is 15 years old now and he has Cushing disease, he doesn't need the distress, he doesn't need to wait and be crated.Prior to this she was sweet and kind otherwise I'd do a one banger star all day long.The 1st 4 photos you see are photos of his haircut here , and it was a decent job but not a poodle haircut. The other pictures are my haircut now and a less stressful, bonding experience for us both. My haircut isn't a traditional poodle haircut either but I'm not a professional. I YouTubed it and I think I'm doing a pretty good job and saving money., and again no stress for my dog!I've been reading lots of reviews here about animals getting bacterial infections and er vet visits because of uncleaned equipment being used and being cut when groomed, so I guess this was a happy accident that you blew me off... and better for Niko too!

I have been bringing my golden doodle Marley here for about a year in a half now & I love this place ! It is super clean and doesn’t have a “smell” like most grooming places. Katherine does an excellent job at getting my baby all fluffy, shiny and clean! She also does a great job at accommodating me when I wait last minute to book (which I do not recommend lol) I always recommend my fellow fur parents in my building to bring their fur baby’s here , you will not be disappointed! 1000 percent recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. My one dog had a terrible experience at another groomer with her nails and Catherine was so patient with her and took her time so she wouldn’t feel so anxious. They do an amazing job and compared to the place we used to go to are very reasonably priced. Our dogs are no longer anxious to go to the groomer and actually get excited to go. If you need a groomer I 150% recommend this place!

I've been going to Pet Spaw since my dog was a puppy and they never disappoint! My dog leaves home looking like a dirty rag dog but comes out looking like the handsome dog I fell in love with. They cut his hair short so I only have to take him every 2-3 weeks.

10 months ago I was so happy with this place, we LOVE Savannah and her professionalism. We haven’t brought our dog back to the groomers since Jan & finally made an appt today for her. We have never had an issue with our dog & today the owner Catherine advised that we cannot bring our dog back because she is too hyper. As I mentioned we have never had this issue before, had they gave us a warning in the past I would understand but we never received a warning about our dogs behavior. If the owner was a bit more professional she could’ve advised that if our dog comes again and is hyper they cannot take her again. From now until the next time we make an appt we could have taken her to the vet & try to get her on medication to help relax her. At home our dog is not hyper by any means. I am extremely disappointed in the way this situation was handled. I would have respected the owner more had she given us an alternative & allowed us to try to make it right before going straight to “your dog is not allowed back” .

This was my first time here and I was not disappointed. The people here were very friendly. The place looked very nice and the dogs did not seem scared. The groomers look like they really cared about the doggies and were gentle. I will be coming here again for sure. They left my shihtzu looking real nice and they gave her two cute bows and a cute bandana. She looked so cute!! I recommend this place for people that want to support local businesses. This is it!!!!

Hands down best dog groomer in the area. Super friendly, great customer service and fair pricing.We have 2 pups and they always look fantastic and are super soft and cuddly after. They always smell great as well.Give them a shot if you're looking for a groomer for your pet.5 stars all day.

I was looking for a new groomer because the last place I took Nova to was definitely giving her some kind of downer without asking me. Pet Spaw did a perfect job grooming my baby and she was her normal self when I picked her up — plus the price was very reasonable! The pic with the bow is Nova after she was groomed compared to how long her first was.

I have been able to work with Katherine for several years now. I have been utilizing her services from the day she opened PetSpaw. I would definitely recommend her to everyone she has a special way of caring for fur babies and is able to work with you even if you reach out after hours. My Havapoo is difficult to work with. However, Katherine has been able to develop a caring relationship with him and set me up with express services due to his anxiety and my busy schedule. I am completely satisfied with her services throughout the years and will continue to utilize her services for any of my additional furbabies. Thank you.

Kathy and everyone at pet spaw are amazing. I have a cockapoo who needs a good grooming every few months and he always come out looking like a brand new dog. They care for each dog as if they were there own and do amazing work. I can’t recommend them enough and always tell friends looking for a groomer to check them out!

Took our schipperke there a few days ago and groomer Savannah did a wonderful job on the little princess and provided feedback on how she did during her first visit. They accept cash and Zelle payments but not credit cards if the owner isn't there that day which is a bit inconvenient. The few times I called it went to voicemail and communication through Facebook Messenger (an option rather than leaving voicemail) was a bit slow for which they apologized. Other than that, it was a very good experience.

I absolutely loved the experience my pup and I had here. We had to book right after the service was completed. Angel was super happy after and not anxious at all considering this is her first groom. Don’t hesitate to take your fur babies here. Great service and amazing customer service!

I have a little pom with beautiful hair but I like to cut it short every few months... I had a really horrible experience once and ever since was really skeptical of where I brought him. The lady I felt comfortable with retired and so I had to find a new groomer. My little guy is very attached to me and has anxiety when I leave but when I handed him over he was shockingly pretty calm, which made me feel better. I think he was there about 2.5 hours which was great for me to run errands. His hair looked SO CUTE! She did exactly what I asked and showed her, blended/faded it so nicely. He was not scared and shaking when I picked him up. He looked ADORABLE! I will absolutely be going back! Very happy customer and pup :)

Pet spa services is the best! I’ve been having my dog Mia bathed and groomed here for over a year now, and I’m always so satisfied with the results. They are always very patient with her and give me exactly what I need. Her haircuts last for months at a time and they use great products that leave her smelling great for days! Would definitely recommend bringing your pets here all the time! :)

I am so happy I found Pet Spaw! My malteses always come out looking great and smelling soo good! I found Pet Spaw after my boy maltese got kicked out of our groomer . I spoke to katheryne and she said she can always meet him and try and i am very happy she did! She advised me it'll never be the best haircut because saferty is priorty in the salon and I appreciate that because i know how difficult and aggressive he can be. They are very professional thank you pet spaw

To my knowledge you have to call to make an appointment but now they have walk ins. Anyway i took my dog last time and she shaved him and lifted the razor (machine to cut hair) and it had my dogs hair on it still that he cried. He did have knots but , you can pause the machine and take the hair out so he wouldnt have cried. I feel like if theres a dog that is hyper or doesnt stay still or barks alot, she has trouble, or if the dog bites. Im getting a sense that she likes more easy dogs than dogs who arent. To me that isn’t professional. I understand safety. But going into the grooming buisness you have to be patient with dogs and find ways to distract them. Automatically if your dog cant stay still or tries to bite sissors , she isnt gonna want to take ur dog again. At least thats the vibe im getting. It feels like theyre more in it for the money

The service and owner are EXCELLENT! This was our second visit and we cannot say not one negative thing about this business. The are professional, prompt, and super friendly. Our puppies had the full treatment and they came out looking and smelling amazing. We've tried a few different groomers and Pet Spaw has been by far the BEST of all!! I had a great experience. Both my sister and I took our pets here and we loved it. Our dogs smelled good and were cleaner for longer than expected. From one dog mommy to another, do not get your pet groomed here. A day after my dog's appointment he was cut up and bleeding. My husband and I took him to the vet to find out he had gotten a bacterial infection due to infected cleaning supplies/used water and improper cleaning methods. After asking the owner to help contribute to the medical bills she laughed and refused to recognize her negligence. Please save yourself the headache.
