Camp Bow Wow in Bridgewater is THE BEST! The staff is beyond friendly and they always go the extra mile to make sure Ransom is well taken care of and played with. He loves his days at CBW and is always tired when he comes home - it makes me so happy to see that he is enjoying his time there. Between the enrichment sessions, activities, grooming, pictures and videos… you can’t go wrong with sending your fur baby here.We used to bring our old dogs here (Max and Mia) before they passed and they loved it too. I will continue to send all my pups here for as long as I possibly can!Huge shoutout to the staff for all the wonderful work they do. Ransom and I are forever grateful ❤️

Bodie is always excited whenever he goes to CBW for daycare! We love how they all know the pups by their names the moment they walk through the door! They also have such creative activities during halloween, Christmas etc! And they also give your pup a birthday photo! They truly love what they do and care for all the dogs. You guys are awesome!

I can’t say enough great things about Camp Bow Wow Bridgewater. My two year old bernedoodle goes to daycare 1-2x per week and boards for at least a week per month. The staff is incredible and they truly care about Bentley. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate his sometimes complicated feeding and med schedule. Their trainer Kelly is the most thorough and experienced trainer I have met, and their groomers do such a fantastic job. Bentley loves enrichment activities, and I love being able to watch him on the live feeds. CBW Bridgewater is the only place I trust to board my pup :)

I cannot, in good conscious give a better rating, but when he was poked and prodded in the nether-region by another dog, he jumped at the other dog (it tripped) and they said he pinned this dog down. No real explanation, a very clipped video, and with no clear representation of pinning down. They banned him from every Camp Bow Wow across the country. They cited the 'policy', but who decides? Who reviews the video. I asked for answers, but they promised follow up and (surprise), no one called me back. As for other red flags ignored: 1. They sent my dog home with a Bloody hole bit into his side - suture sized, but too late to fix. WHen I pointed it out, no one offered to review video to see how it was done and by whom. And it was the groomer who pointed it out, so clearly they are understaffed.. 2. They sent my dog home 2x with whooping cough. Once is bad but TWICE? 3. When I called in about these issuesthe manager (I will not name) was incredibly defensive telling me why that was the case and that they cannot watch everything. Now that I have found alernative care, he is once again in a place of love and they confirm that he is the sweet and loving boy that he is, I am hearing from a lot of people about the overpopulation of this facility. Please - for the sake of the dogs - try and do better, Camp Bow Wow.

Absolutely at what they do !!!Having our dogs stay overnight or for the day at Camp Bow Wow is like leaving them with a trusted friend or relative. The staff do a great job and clearly care about our dogs. I never worry about them when I drop them off because I know they are in good hands.

1/25/2024: I wanted to update my review as we are going on 3 (crazy!!!) years of Bru attending CBW Bridgewater since he was about 6 months old. In that timeline, we have moved twice, each time a little further away from the Bridgewater area. We now live about a half hour away, and I still choose CBW Bridgewater without hesitation. Bru has formed such incredibly close bonds with the staff- it's evident the second we walk in the door and he's hopping up to the desk to say hello- I can't imagine ever sending him anywhere else. We've also started working much more closely with Kelly, the trainer, over the last few months and she's helped Bru make such great strides in his confidence. Her email recaps at the end of each session are incredibly detailed, and she's been a great resource for any questions I have on our training outside of Camp.Thank you all so much- I'm SO grateful <3---Bru LOVES Camp! It’s been about a year since he started going and he’s got our route memorized. As soon as I turn on Chimney Rock Road the excitement starts and once we get to Camp I can barely open my car door before he’s jumping out.The staff really makes an effort to get to know all the dogs and their names. During Bru’s trial visit last year, Kelly kept in contact with me throughout the day with updates and pictures and I immediately knew my dog was in good hands. I love being able to watch his goofy self run around on their cameras. I have peace of mind that my dog is in a safe space, he gets a day of play, and comes home a very sleepy boy. Can’t forget to mention holiday pawties for all occasions and the photos that come along with it :)

I am currently fostering a one year old boxer with New Jersey Boxer Rescue that we felt could benefit from playtime with other dogs. When we called Camp Bow in Bridgewater they wanted to help us help Lenny! They were so helpful and accommodating and even spreading the word that he is available for adoption. Very caring staff you can tell they love what they do!

Over the past few months, we've sent our dog to day care at Camp Bow Wow and were generally pleased with the experience: conveniently located, an app that makes it easy to check in on your dog, the staff regularly complimented our dog's behavior and most importantly, our dog seemed happy. So, when it came time for us to go on a family vacation, it made sense to consider Camp Bow Wow as a great option to board our dog for the duration of our trip. This proved to be a big mistake.Throughout our trip (6 days), we consistently checked in on our dog, using the app to see her day-to-day and by receiving updates via text (including photos) from the staff. Though we were concerned to see some significant crowding in some of the pens, that was somewhat alleviated by the staff who reported that our dog was doing well and by the texts they shared that suggested she was content/enjoying her stay. Imagine our surprise (and upset) the morning we were scheduled to pick her up, when we were informed by the staff that we needed to immediately pick up our dog and that she is now 'banned' from Camp Bow Wow for poor behavior. It didn't make any sense. When pressed for additional insight, we were told nothing, so we sat down as a family and began to piece things together. A few things stand out:1. Behavior has never been an issue. Our dog is known in our neighborhood (and several local dog park/walking areas) for being friendly and approachable by humans and dogs (known and unknown) alike. No barking, no snapping, no growling.2. The staff claims that they, 'were concerned', but for some unknown reason didn't feel the need to let us know or to communicate that concern. In fact, as mentioned, they regularly texted to show us what a good time our dog was having (and that she was OK). Not once was there any mention of concerns about behavior, etc.3. Per camp policy, the staff had the contact information of a close family member who could be contacted in the event of issues or concerns. Not once did they contact this family member, who would have gladly picked up our dog at a moment's notice. In short: the team waited until the last possible moment to address the issue rather than reaching out to let us know they were initially 'concerned'. Aside from the fact that this is a complete breakdown in communication, it also seems to indicate that the Camp is more interested in collecting full payment (waiting until the end of a stay to break the news, apparently cramming as many dogs as possible into a pen, etc.) than ensuring the well-being of a lodger/dog. That's no way to run a business and we still had no clear understanding of why the decision was made to ban our dog from their camp. Finally, a day after picking up our dog, we received an email that shed some light on what motivated their decision to "dismiss" our dog. It was a bizarre mix of praising the behavior of our dog (she is/was a, 'very sweet girl...[who is] very wiggly and affectionate and happy' - their words, not mine) followed by a suggestion that, "she had no desire to be in a large group". If she was exhibiting signs of being uncomfortable, why didn't they reach out and recommend an early pick-up for our dog? They had our contact info, they had the contact info of our close relative who again was ready/able to pick up our dog if/when needed. Instead, they kept her in an environment she clearly wasn't comfortable in and kept us in the dark about the situation. This is not how to treat dogs or their owners. So fellow dog-owners, that's a question you'll have to ask yourself before considering Camp Bow-Wow: do you want your dog crammed in a pen with - many - other dogs to the point that your pooch feels threatened and reacts like a dog under duress? Are you comfortable leaving your dog with a staff that will send you fun photos, but will NOT reach out when they have concerns about the well-being or behavior of your dog? If so, then good luck - roll the dice with Camp Bow Wow. We're warning our family, friends, neighbors and associates to stay clear of Camp Bow Wow.

Randy who is the owner and her staff are amazing! They are always accommodative and kind to my dog, a 4 year old Shih Tzu. He loves daycare and he loves going there. They’re fabulous and I can’t say enough good things about them!

Couldn’t love this place more - my dog literally whines when we come up to the intersection to turn into Camp Bow Wow because she’s so excited to go there every time the staff is so friendly and caring. I feel perfectly secure, leaving my dog there, knowing that she will have fun and be well cared for while I’m working.

When we adopted Maverick a little less than a year ago, I talked to my husband about wanting to find a place that offered both day camp and boarding. I was very leary at first because I worked at a similar place years ago and left because I didn't like their practices. (lying to customers, making employees gather all info about the caller to put in their system even if they were just calling to find out information.) Because of this, I was nervous at first and had my guard up. There was no pressure when we called this facility; they were very friendly.Maverick loves going to camp (about once a week), and we can't even say "camp" at home because he gets very excited thinking we are bringing him there. He is always exhausted when he gets home.Besides camp, we have boarded him once for one night to see how he did, and we also use them for the occasional bath and monthly nail trim.Currently working on some reaction training with Kelly through their Board and Train program. She is very thorough with her after training reports and also attach videos so we can see what she did and can reinforce teachings at home in between sessions.Overall, very happy and would recommend them.

This Camp Bow Wow is great. I use it when I need to board my dog. I love that I can see her on the camera with all the other dogs. I always see the workers petting the dogs and cleaning up messes quickly. She comes home a happy camper.

We are so happy that we found Camp Bow Wow! It has been a wonderfully safe, convenient, amazing place to take our high energy puppy. I love that they have camper cams so I can check in and see how our pup is doing. It also gave me such confidence to see their staff actively engaging with the dogs in each room and keeping a watchful eye. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. And the facility is so clean. I used to take our other dog to a different daycare and she always came home a bit smelly - but never after Camp Bow Wow! You can see them keeping all the rooms so clean. We are so impressed and love them and so does our pup!!

We LOVE Camp Bow Wow Bridgewater! Ms. Harper has been going there since she was six months old. We absolutely love the staff and how we're treated every time. Harper is so excited to see her friends in the morning and is nice and exhausted when we come pick her up. She loves enrichment and any special activities that is going on during the week. When we board Harper, even though we live 40 minutes away, she goes to Camp Bow Wow because they take such great care with her. Our work moved to a different location and I still drive out of my way to take Harper to her favorite place!

I am just now seeing a reply from the owner for my for my original rating of 1 star. To explain; at the time, I felt like the scheduling process could have been more seamless. I had been using their grooming services for about a year and would schedule via email without any issue. Then at some point, they stopped replying and when they did reply, they would give me appointment openings, I'd respond, and then they would respond that the appointments were no longer available. It seemed passive aggressive. And because my pup is reactive and I didn't want to go anywhere else so I started calling to make the appointments instead. I also feel like dogs that already use services at the facility shouldn't need to have an interview prior to boarding. Seems like a waste of time.Recently, I increased the rating without discussing anything with Randy. And this is because I appreciate the grooming services. Sometimes my pup is matted, but I've never been ridiculed or up-charged for it. I appreciate that. Outside of the one time, she hasn't been returned with any abrasions (this happened once but I think it was due to the stress and there was no blood. just pink lines across her chest.) The team also has never told me that she's not easy to work with. I was able to put it together during our last visit. No clue why they never mentioned it, but it's something else I noticed and I can only guess it's to spare our feelings. The only "issue" is that no one seems to know which groomer has worked on her when I come to pick her up. I don't have any complaints about either groomer's work, but I'm pretty sure my pup works better with one groomer than the other.

The staff are so friendly and get to know my dog. It makes me feel more comfortable leaving him at camp knowing they care and will love him like I do. They are on top of current vaccinations for all dogs which also makes me feel safer.I have to note my dog does get kennel cough a bit frequently from Camp but that’s to be expected (kids get sick a lot from school too!)I love checking in on the cameras although I wish the app buffered better. At least on the computer I can watch my pup!

First, my 5 month Golden retriever LOVES Camp Bow Wow. Every time we at the front door he just rushes to the entrance! And it's so much fun to watch him playing on the web cameras (and yes, it's additive). Second - the customer service is amazing. I had some troubles with my app account, but they were extremely supportive and helped me to resolve the issue. Thank you for your amazing services!

We tried Camp Bow Wow after a really bad boarding experience somewhere else and I was very nervous putting him in someone else’s care again. Many family and friends recommend Camp Bow Wow and I am so happy they did. The whole experience was fantastic! From the moment you walk in the staff is friendly and you can tell they genuinely care about dogs. The office smells clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I loved being able to watch my dog on camera all day. I could see him getting love (he loves people) and playing with the other dogs. When I picked my dog up he was SO happy. The staff told me how well he did and how everyone loved him (Humans and dogs) I knew I made the right choice. I have been singing the praises of Camp Bow Wow ever since to anyone who will listen. Thank you! I now know when I need to board my dog he will be HAPPY and SAFE

Lennox just graduated Level 1 training and we could not be happier! Maria the trainer was helpful from the very first phone call, before we even signed up for class. She is very encouraging and always available to offer suggestions and tips, and made sure we worked on the skills that were important to us and our dog.We always have a good experience at Camp Bow Wow, whether we are there for camp, overnight boarding, or training and Lennox is always happy when he realizes where we are going!

We first started going to Camp Bow Wow in May for occasional playtime, and from the beginning, Herbie has loved spending the day with his dog buddies. We've also boarded him, and he enjoyed himself immensely. We've recently started taking Herbie every day, and the staff is excellent and are genuinely happy to see him every morning. He's also delighted to go every morning. Once we get inside, he looks back at me like he's surprised I'm still there. The facility is clean, and we enjoy checking in on him throughout the day. Camp counselors are always with the dogs to supervise puptivities and make sure nothing gets out of hand. We can not recommend Camp Bow Wow enough!

We have been taking our two huskies to CBW for several years. All the staff had been great. We often take are dogs for Spa Days so they can play during the day and get bathed in the afternoon, our dogs come home tired and pleasant smelling. We have also left our dogs for overnight boarding, it’s nice to have somewhere I can leave my dogs and feel confident they will be taken care of. I have recommended this location to several people and will continue to do so.
