Despite the shelf being completely empty of a product I had need the manager by the name nick took his time from his duty to go into the back area to find what I was looking for. Great customer service. Didn’t leave me thinking he didn’t care to come back at least to let me know if the item was even I. Stock or out of stock.

Self-checkout, they are more interested in talking to one another than being any help. At least,until today, where they interrupted me checking out 4 times, the same two people, to tell me I had to many items for self-checkout. Suddenly, they are so invested in doing their jobs that they came over, halfway through me doing a cashiers job, to tell me I had too many items for their 20 item self-check out. So, should I waste time cancel everything or would you like to just let me get done with my 23 items and get out of the way of other customers? This is about people stealing, which is why, with the change of self-check out going from 30 items to 20. ShopRite does not care about anything other than how much money these, stupid and ridiculous, waste of time self checks-outs, that put people out of work, is costing them. Well, newsflash, you put in self-check outs, put cashiers out of work and saved a bunch of money and now have to deal, the consequences. Now, you have 100 percent jump in retails theft . Your mistake, stop punishing costumers for it.

Stay away from self checkout. They'll let you sit there when assistance in needed. Staff is to busy talking to each other. Then when you had enough of waiting and go to an attended checkout and leave the store. I got a phone call and someone accuse us of theft, really who needs that .I'll be shopping at Eickoff ShopRite in the future

This Shoprite is not easily visible from the route and it's a little hidden towards the back in the shopping-stip-mall where it is located that I almost always forget it is there, however it's a really great Shoprite.They offer senior hours, are COVID-19 conscious offering hand sanitizers and social distancing, and they are nicely stocked with a great variety.The produce looked fresh and had a nice variety. I came early on a Friday morning at around 8am when they were restocking, the store was clean, it was not crowded and I found everything I needed.They were also ranked best Shoprite by the Trentonian in 2020. I really had a nice experience, easy parking, friendly service, and I was in and out in about 30 minutes.

Absolutely love the ShopRite in Bordentown everyone is super nice. The deli guys are friendly, very clean. It’s smaller store but it’s such a nice shopping experience. Unlike the ShopRite in Hamilton or the marketplace ShopRite this is a joy to go to!!

I go to this shoprite every day after work because I work right next to the store so it's very convenient. I like this Shoprite far more than the Super Shoprite that is just another 2 miles down the road in Hamilton for several reasons.The Hamilton store is so noisy it's unpleasant to be in the building. I've never been looked in the eye by anyone at the Hamilton Market Place store where as the Shoprite in Bordentown has such personable people working in the store!Their produce department is cleaned up and stocked every day and their prices are better than Acme and I would never try to buy fruit at Wal-Mart.The shelves are clean,(important), and stocked and dairy dates are always good. There is a very small flower section for a flower emergency but nothing to write home about.I am never disappointed when I used this store and it's so much easier to shop her because it's small. Easier to park, far easier to get around the store, easier to go back if you forget something, easier to checkout, and easier to get out of this parking lot.

Bought a $20 piece of meat there that was vacuum sealed but still rotten. It made my whole house stink. I’ve bought lots of produce that’s turned out to be bad…. I think I’m about done with this place.

This ShopRite has gone downhill over the years. The shelves are empty and the dairy section has bad dates. We have been shopping here for 25 years and it has become a trashy store. Guess we will be going to ShopRite in Hamilton.

This location is older but has everything you need. They added self checkout lanes so it’s super quick to checkout if you have a few items. Great selection and friendly staff.

The store itself is great. Very good selection, good prices on most things, good staff.The downside is the fact that the store is located VERY far back from the main road at the end of an otherwise deserted commercial strip. Doesn't seem safe at night.

Yeah definitely never coming here again. Come here all the time and even tho the store has a terrible layout and it’s hard to navigate compared to other shoprites, it’s close to my house. Well, I had a hat on today, no makeup, my hair wasn’t done so I guess no one recognized me or thought I was some kind of thief or something even tho I’m a grown 42 year old woman with plenty of money to go grocery shopping with but I could feel someone watching me and an employee kept following me around the store and every isle I’d go in, he’d go in and stand there and just look at me. For someone who has been mugged and attacked before by a stranger in a parking lot, I can’t help but to be super self aware of my surroundings. I tried to play it off and said I was going to my car to get my coupons but I really wanted my phone incase I felt uncomfortable again so I could call my bf. Well I come inside and NEVER had a problem with using self check out and now all the sudden I was being policed about how many items I had in my cart and told me I had to go to a regular aisle. My anxiety was already thru the roof and I’m so used to doing self check out now and I pace myself where I need to be, I can load my cart as I go and I have everything organized and together.. and I PREFER not dealing with people especially when I’m in high anxiety from some strange man following me around the damn store staring at me. but the manager kept insisting I had over 30 items and telling me “oh you have way more than 30 items and you’re gonna need to go to a regular aisle” which NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF EVER has anyone no matter HOW many items I had in my cart say that to me there. Then I even told the guy I had anxiety right now and I don’t want to deal with people and I probably had a little extra cuz i had a bunch of single yogurts but come on! I was totally thrown off going thru regular isle, didn’t get to see what coupons worked, some didn’t, ended up paying more, I felt all flustered cuz then I was all pressured to bag because other people were behind me and everyone was waiting for me to move. it was just an awful anxiety experience after already being followed thru out the whole store and guess what? I had 34 items and I had a ton of loose yogurt so it was like really dude? You needed to do all that for 4 extra items? Meanwhile he had kids working there looking all bored at the self check out and they could have watched me do the entire thing. It’s not about stealing or whatever, it’s about personal preference and it’s just funny today out of all days now it’s a problem? Why? There’s way better shoprites lol I won’t be back, not like y’all care at all but still.

Shopping on the night before Thanksgiving is crazy 🤪! I had to stop for a few last items needed for tomorrow. The staff was restocking items that were on sale and feasting item needs. I was presently surprised that the store wasn't overly crowded. I had stopped at another nearby ShopRite and couldn't even find a parking spot, so this was a great deal better here.

I visit this ShopRite once to twice a week. Working from home, it's quick and convenient to run there on my lunch break. I loooovvee going here for the quick easy trips. Tonight's visit was a bad experience which now makes me give a 1 star. I will not go into full details as it's very long, I will just say I was treated differently from what I believe to be because of my race. (I'M BLACK) Night manager Mr. Gorman gave me the hardest time. Needless to say, I will never visit this ShopRite again. I may not even visit another ShopRite. From getting bad meat several times and me still being a loyal customer, I didn't deserve the treatment I received tonight. I hope some sort of training is put in place for him to do better.

I will never return to this location. I did a pickup order and was treated like a thief. The extremely rude employee accused me of not paying and later found out I did pay im going to Acme from now on. Sad because I have shopped here for over twenty years.

This is the second time they cancel my WIC items(wic approved) and when I check my balance on the app they takeout from my card the items that supposedly we’re not wic approve. Example;milk, cereal etc. This is not fair at all. Just because I’m a WIC approved that doesn’t mean I’m less than anybody. I had work hard many years this is still part of my taxes. On top the cashiers gives me an attitude just because they don’t know how to handle/know WIC approved list. I’m very disappointed in this bordentown shop rite.

I work on the outside for the salvation army ringing the bell for donations some a children and there family can enjoy there Christmas 🎄 and I shop there as well and I love this ShopRite and the quality of there products. Even the prices is good. And the people are so nice and the store is clean have so much to choose from.

Store is making some updates which are much appreciated, better lighting, dairy in enclosed cases keep products cooler and the meat case shows more variety and probably controls temperature better tooThe self check out which I use in most stores I don't use because of the software glitches and the self bagging confuses the built-in scaleStill my go to shopping

Always happy to shop at ShopRite. This location did not disappoint. It was clean and nicely stocked. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. The produce, meat and seafood we purchased were fresh tasty and delicious. All prepared food were great. It was easy to move around the aisles and sales were clearly marked. I highly recommend this location.

This is definitely an older Shop Rite but I have never had a bad experience here. I really enjoy that it’s not super crowded and overwhelming like the World Class Shop Rites in Hamilton. When I visit, I’m in and out pretty quickly and feel a little bit of 90s nostalgia lol. Would love to see more flower and herb selection but other than that it’s great! Best prices at Shop Rite.

This grocery store is well laid out. The layout makes sense and things are easy to find. The prices are great and the selection is good. I have found that acme may have one selection for a week and get rid of it. ShopRite will keep the things you grow to love on the shelf so you can continue to enjoy. They have good food and it's never really crazy packed. The employees are personable and it is a great place to make a weekly stop.

This store is always well stocked. The employees are very nice. The only concern I have with this location is narrow nature of the entrance door which may not be COVID-19 friendly. The same thing goes with the isles that seem always stock to the top of very high shelves.Other than the above, the service at this location is really awesome!

I've had no problems coming here up until one day when the cashier systems went down. The manager had no idea how to handle the situation and I stood in 2 different lines for about 20 minutes just to be told I couldn't use a credit card. I left the items I was going to buy and went to another supermarket. I never went back after this. This supermarket is quite tiny compared to the Acme or the other Shop Rite in marketplace.

It's not a bad store, for nostalgia sake, it gives off a late 70's early 80's feel, a walk back to more simple and easy times. The store is easy to navigate, the layout is not perfect, the deli staff is pleasant to customers, the cashiers are ok, some are nice others eh they seem somewhat miserable. The prices are decent, and are much better than over priced Acme.
