I am a regular customer at this location and this afternoon I had the BEST customer service experience EVER! I was looking for a hard-to-find product and Ashley quickly noticed I was a bit befuddled. She asked if I needed help and promptly directed me to the product I needed. Not only was she helpful, but pleasant and kind and did it all with a smile. I am confident to say she actually enjoyed helping me. FIVE STARS TO ASHLEY!

Has been our home base store for at least 10+ years. Ali and Vlora are personable, professional and always on point - catching discrepancies from incoming practices that would be overlooked at most other pharmacies.(keeping patients safe).

Attrocious customer service. Ever since moving to boonton and using this pharmacy I have had nothing but problems filling my daily prescription. Every time I run low I use the app to initiate a refill. Every time I have difficulty filling this script and I'm repeatedly told to call my doctor. That is YOUR job. I already went to my appointment and the doctor has 90 days worth of scripts authorized. Due to insurance only 30 days can be filled at a time. But I can never seem to get the other 60 day worth. Calling doctors and getting approvals is NOT my job. I'm paying you for a service, that service is to have my medication filed every month on time. If there are issues filling my script, call me and inform me! Despite being out of pills, pharmacy staff refused a partial refill for my mental health medication! Get better employees who want to do THEIR job! Could the female tech behind the counter could be any less friendly? When I mispronounced the name of the script I needed filled, she sure did give me the proper pronunciation along with a snarky, rude, "I'm better than you because I can pronounce this correctly" attitude while saying it.

The male pharmacist is very nice and explains everything and answers all of my questions. The other staff aren’t the most friendly but I get what I need and leave. The products within the store are scarce but I don’t shop there so it doesn’t bother me.

The store itself is shabby and not particularly clean. The pharmacy (which is the only place around where I can get Ozempic filled) is slow, and difficult to get on the phone without a fairly long wait. I would never set foot in the place if I didn’t need the Ozempic. All my other pharmacy needs are filled by Preston Drugs in Boonton.

The Pharmacy Staff is rude and don't care if they have your prescriptions or not. The guy pharmacist told me he "ordered" my prescription and I asked when it would be in and he said " It could take months, so you better go shop around". What???? This is Walgreens!!!! The famous Walgreens pharmacy!!!! The guy who founded this company way back when was kind and completely customer service oriented, the pharmacy people at Boonton Walgreens should be ashamed of their behavior. Even the female is rude!!! And I'm a nice person that doesn't yell or make a fuss! They need to get a whole new staff in the pharmacy here!!! And need to order peoples prescriptions so thier customers have what thier dr. prescribes them. Not everyone has a car and can go " shop around". That is lousy for a pharmacist to tell a customer. They are Walgreens, they can get pharmaceuticals if a dr. orders them.

Absolute worst Walgreens . Extremely rude staff. Non-helpful, miserable people working here. Seems like they don’t know and they don’t care about what is going on in there or how they treat people. I sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes and rang the bell 4 times. I ended up having the bring my one year old inside who was sleeping in the car, for a pharmacy pickup. The staff denied hearing my call or seeing me in the drive thru. Instead they insisted their drive thru was broken even though the pharmacist was eating a breadstick while trying to flag him down through the drive thru window. I told them they should put up a sign up if the drive thru isn’t working. Neither of them put up a sign. Neither of them cared at all. The only reason why I went there is because my doctor didn’t transfer my prescription in time for my refill. I hope this place shuts down.

This is probably the worst Walgreens pharmacy or pharmacy period I’ve ever dealt with. If I could give 0 stars I would. I can appreciate that at times you may be understaffed and very busy but at a minimum acknowledge your customers and give a realistic time frame on how long someone will be waiting. Continuing to ignore or say one moment is not acceptable. I hope they replace and hire new pharmacy staff. The current staff there is a joke and unprofessional. The male pharmacist is terrible and treated me poorly. I highly recommend using Acme pharmacy. The pharmacist there is always helpful, professional, kind and has always gone out of his way to help.

i have been using this pharmacy for several years and never really had an issue until now. My insurance changed because of Medicare and this pharmacy is not on my prescription drug plan. I spoke to someone in the store on November 1 and was told that the new pharmacy had to call for my prescriptions to be sent over, no problem, right! It is now December 15 and my prescriptions have yet to be sent over despite numerous attempts. Needless to say, some prescriptions are long overdue. The new pharmacy said that they were even hung up on in an attempt. I went into this Walgreens several times including today. The pharmacist, and girl behind the counter basically refused to transfer the prescriptions until the new pharmacy contacts them....of course, I stated that the pharmacy has contacted them and it has been over six weeks since this process began. They were absolutely no help...told me it was the girls first day and protocol is for the new pharmacy to call. They would not listen to me and didn't even seem to care that I was out of some of the medications. I am extremely frustrated and feel that they simply do not care. I will never deal with Walgreens again. This is so wrong! They dont even deserve one star but I can not post with no stars.

Tried to transfer my prescriptions here. They were not ready when promised. Tried to call several times. Was put on hold for over 15 minutes and then they hung up. Finding a better pharmacy. Edit: Went in person to give them another shot. Inside store was run down and dirty. Still were not able to transfer my Rx.

I'm quite annoyed that I have to even give one star. After many issues with this pharmacy, this is absolutely the end of the road for us as customers. Aside from feeling like you need a tetanus shot after leaving (seriously, what excuse is there for it being SO dirty looking inside?), this is a direct quote, copied and pasted from my child's pediatricians portal in regards to his prescription refill that was sent over 7 days ago:"I spoke with them, after being hung up on multiple times - they said they have the script but "don't have time to fill it right now and mom will get a text when it's ready." I asked how long they think and she said they have no idea they're "pretty crazy" right now, and then hung up on me."Is this really a place you want to give money to?

If you could give zero stars I would. The pharmacy is horribly run! Never have Rx’s done by promised time, leave customers on hold forever (if they pick up), and don’t find it important to let their customers know when they do not have the prescribed medication needed. Karina the pharmacy technician should not be in the healthcare field; she has been dishonest on multiple occasions and lacks the empathy and ethics needed to care for others. Go down the street to Walmart and be treated kindly, I would clean house in the pharmacy department if I owned the place.

I just moved to the Boonton location about a year ago, I must say out of all the Walgreens I attended in the past I always have wonderful experience with Francine at the Boonton location . She’s always courteous, kind , and willing to help . Not only does she treat me like a valued customer, but she goes above and beyond to assist me . Thank you Francine and to the Boonton Walgreens.

I've been going to this Walgreens since it opened here in Boonton. My complaint is the pharmacy. My husband has cancer and needed a prescription for pain ASAP. They sent me a message that they order it and would have it the next day. That's fine. But the prescription never came in. Now it's 3 days in. I called and asked them to find it in another Walgreens. She called me back and said she found it in another but I had to go to pick it up which meant the Dr had to cancel this one and call the other because it's a narcotic. I switched to a different pharmacies which has it and was delivered for free. Don't go here if you need medication because you might be in extreme pain by the time it comes in. It also is on the unkept and dirty side. So long Walgreens. It's been nice but no more!

Today is Thursday, October 6th. I called this location 3 times trying to reach the pharmacy directly. Each time I was put on hold anywhere from 7-18 minutes. Someone would pick up my call, not speak & put me back on hold. I actually called again attempting to speak to the manager. No luck getting through. They’ve lost a customer!

I have been going to this store for over five years, The prices are fair and the selection is great. Never once have I ever experienced any issue with any employee. They have always been courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, competent and helpful, almost to a fault. I'm sure the reason Ms. Gonzalez experienced a problem was because she came into the store with an attitude, or was nasty herself. A great store!

The managers are very courteous and helpful. When I bought a renfair ticket, and they gave me the ad instead of the ticket, they refunded the ticket AND the extra 4$ I had to pay at the gate. Smart way to keep a customer coming back!

Be careful with taking passport photo at this location. I cannot recommend this place for passport photo. There is no set up such as light for taking a quality photo. Then the store manager spent a lot of time to remove shading at the background.

MICHAEL THE CASHIER, NICE KID JUST DOING HIS JOB NEEDED HELP FROM HIS MANAGER THAT WAS SMOKING OUTSIDE. THE MANAGER JUST SHOOED HIM AWAY. HE COULD NOT BE BOTHERED TO DROP THE CANCER STICK AND HELP HIS EMPLOYEE. MICHAEL THE EMPLOYEE SAID HIS MANAGER IS MAD AT HIM.
