Been a long time customer and love the people that work here. Food is high quality and always great. Fresh bread and bakery items in the morning is also a plus. Yes, it's a little pricey for sure, but deli workers like Yolonda make it worth stopping by each and every day! Thanks for years of great service with a smile :)

Way More expensive than Wegmans or Traders Joe's (100 USD for a bag of groceries, picture of receipt is in my review and I find it unbelievable that the most expensive articles are fresh fruit) gluten free isle is not marked, products are pretty much scattered close the rest of the groceries. Only positive comment is about the freezer dept, where I finally found artichokes.

Normally every person is nice at Boonton Kings. However! I just had a 12 year old tell me very snotily that a bag OF "SNOWBALLS " were NOT CHRISTMAS 😳SAID This is my third bag 😩STILL DIDN'T GET IT.MAYBE DON'T GIVE REGISTER KEY TO A DUMMY WHO CONSIDERS THAT POWER. 💪🤔

I've had nothing but wonderful experiences in this store. I expect slightly higher prices at Kings but for the most part, worth it. Joe in the Seafood Dept is AMAZING and beyond knowledgeable about all things fish! Seafood is extremely fresh and he's even made a salmon convert! Customer Service has always been beyond helpful as well! Very clean store, which is always appreciated.

Last 8 months bakery department is terrible! Pies and muffins not cooked all the way. I bought assorted brownies yesterday and they are dry and terrible!!! What happened?

For us, it's convenient (close to home). You can find better prices elsewhere. The store is very clean and well-stocked. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have a lot of cooked food that looks very appetizing. Check out the bakery and flower sections. March 2024.

I've been a shopper and a general fan of Kings for a long time but their pricing is really becoming prohibitive. In the past I would at least shop here for a few items a few times a week. Recently though everything has skyrocketed. Celery - $5.99 a bundle. I got the same item at another store for $1.99 some days earlier. Not sure how they price their items or where they buy them from but the customer is getting ripped off. That's just one example but its everywhere in the store now. Avocados are $4 each. I purchased 4 Avocados for $1 each at another supermarket. What makes Kings avocados $4 each? In general their produce is WAY overpriced. I thought it was great when they came up with member pricing a while back and for a while it was pretty good but basically nothing is on sale for members these days. It's understandable that inflation is going on everywhere but other supermarkets are no where nears the pricing Kings is coming up with these days. As much as I love the small store feel and convenience Im not sure we will be making as many trips to Kings.

The customer service has declined tremendously at this store. No one seems to have time to help and are busy doing their own thing. It looks like the store needs a lot more people in each area, like the deli and fish depts. sorry to say but it has gone downhill from pre-acme days. Will definitely opt for Whole Foods.

Beautiful store. Very clean. Just lovely Deli staff. Always attentive and knowledgeable. I dont usually like deli ham but Brian told me to try the boars head deluxe ham. Im glad I did I loved it. Oh and they have Havarti cheese they can fresh slice. Only place I found that cheese in the deli. Besides all that, great selections. Everyone is super nice and did I mention how clean it is. I mean the whole store . ❤ spotless.

I decided to stop by my local Kings to purchase cherries for company...they were $10.99 a pound.....really....I don’t care where they are from went to Acme down the street...MUCH LESS and delicious...when I went to self check out a young man who works for your company ask if he could take my survey for me...I asked four time to insure I was hearing correctly...and even repeated and asked if he was out of his mind...how unethical.... Wegmans.....is where I’ll stay..

Updated: I have visited the deli counter for the first time in years as I cannot eat some brands that have whey in it. Well! This store has (unbeknownst to me as I hadn't checked in a long time!) switched to Boars Head, which does NIT have whey fillers in it. So! Very happy here! I’ve been going to this Kings market for at least a decade. The updated, renovated store is clean and has a wide selection of upscale goods. Veggies are always fresh, produce high quality. I’ve never had to bring any meat back for not being fresh. That has happened in other stores often. Well I also love is that they retain their employees. I see the same employees there for many many years. Kudos. The only thing I don’t like is the brand of cold cuts they have. The brand they have has whey in it. And lactose intolerant people can’t eat that. But, I visit Kings often!

I love this place. Every item is of the highest quality and the place is impeccable. It is expensive so I only occasionally indulge myself to a visit to pick up a few items. However, my expectations from an upscale, higher priced grocery store is top notch service. There was only 1 line available to pay. The rest were self- service. Don't get me wrong, I get the rationale and I know it is hard to find anyone to work for minimum wage at the grocery store...bla bla. And, it is ideal for those like me with a few items and in a rush. But, for the elderly, those who don't like to deal with computers or can't read the tiny grocery item numbers, or else, service matters when you pay premium.

I used to really love this store. Their selection is still better than some other local stores. However, since Albertsons took over, I feel that their produce quality has been declining. So I overpaid for mealy apples oh, and bought cheese that had mold on it the very next day.

I like this grocery store, which they have renovated and expanded. Prices are a bit high, so I tend to come here for special occasions more than everyday shopping. However, there's a great selection of products and I like their bakery a lot. If you need to bring an appetizer or a dessert to a party, this is a perfect place to look.

I never write a review But the deli counter in Kings in Boonton is the WORST service I have seen anywhere! You will be totally ignored for at least 20 minutes or more always. Employees walking around in the back will Never try to help out. The rest of the departments in this store are excellent! Nice store but avoid the deli !!!! HORRIBLE

The store has expanded greatly in recent times, now has tastings of different foods and a wonderful produce section. Before they were overpriced, but now they’ve implemented a kings reward program that provides some really great deals that easily rival or beat other grocery stores nearby. They could use some more check out lanes, but they’re quick and very friendly to customers.They do lack some pet products and soda, but make up for it in frozen and refrigerated goods. Found many things not anywhere else.

My family has been going here for a very long time. They have great variety of cheeses, meats, and daily specials. In addition to food, they also carry seasonal decorations for the house and you such as spring handbags, winter fuzzy socks, and much more.

Excellent, clean, fresh food and expensive also, anything in Boonton Township just from the ridiculous taxes alone will cause prices to be higher. Kings is an upscale store, beautiful inside, the staff is great, everything is quality, you can go to other stores and find prices much cheaper but they cater to a different clientele, you don't go there for bargains, we love going there and it is expensive, but it's like comparing WalMart to Nordstroms, upscale store upscale prices in an upscale area. We have been going there for over 20 years and never had issue with anything, we love the place!

The cashier a new girl was very rude to me because I went on cashier 1 with less than 10 items. I have been chopping at king's for more than 15 years without any issue. She looked me and said how many items do you have. I had more than 10 but no.more tan 20 and was more fruits and vegetables. My lady before than me I m positive she had more than 10 and Ishe did not gave any hard time. I asked her if she wants I can count my items but she said no. Here is the worst after paying she reminded me not go to on tha lane if I have more than 10. This is disgusting and I feel very offended. I'm a lady 64 yrs old to take this. I never saw before at the store this cashier. Customer services should be improve in this store. I'm thinking twice if I want to go back after 15 years. Blanca Kristiansen

Kings is my favorite food market. I have been going to kings since it opened in Boonton many years ago. The products are always good even though they are much more expensive than the other groceries.I really don’t mind since the place is nice and clean and the employees are very friendly.Today, I came in and during this COVID pandemic, there are NO HAND WIPES,couldn’t believe it.I told the lady by the flower shop and she said she was going to get some. Actually , last week when I came in, therewas also no hand wipes. I went shopping and after 30 minutes, still no wipesFor a very good food market, I WAS REALLY DISPPOINTED.I don’t know if I’m going to return next week.I just want others to know about my experience This was store 60 , May 05. 2pm. After not going to Kings for a few months than returning the prices have gone way up and the layout is confusing and doesn't make sense on where items are, even staff members didn't know where basic items like cookies (EX. Oreos) where located. Small place and gets real overcrowded.

Is there a Kings gene? My Mom loved Kings, and I was raised on Kings. I love the assortment of items that are hard to find anywhere else. Meats and deli items are very fresh and there is a large assortment of organic and vegan items. I just wish there was a Kings closer to me!

The Kings Fresh Baked pies are not worth the price. The apple slices in the apple pie were hard and the crust had no flavor. The pecan pie didn't taste good and the pumpkin pie taste wasn't any better than Entennmans pumpkin. Overall the quality and value was very disappointing. Go to Wegmans!
