I get all my cat supply goods from Brookdale Pet Center. My cat is a fiend for the Weruva 'Cat Times At The Fridgemont' duck & tuna wet food pouches and the frozen raw Primal Venison Nuggets. They tend to have both every time I visit, so my cat gets to keep on his healthy diet.Plus, they offer great snacks, toys, and unique options like CBD oil, which is super helpful if you have an anxious or stressed pet.If I'm super lazy I can arrange for delivery, too. Sometimes, I don't feel like picking up a 40lb bag of pellet litter, so that's really convenient.I am happy to shop here as they carry thoughtful, quality products for my cat's needs.

We went there because we wanted to adopt a guinea pig. The lady was super friendly, nice and gave us a bunch of information, the store looks clean,nice and organized. The only thing is that they never called us for the adoption, I thought they were gonna call in 3 days then my husband called for an update and they say up to 2 weeks and they never did,but it's ok.

Lovely local pet shop with a great variety and selection. Live crickets and worms for reptiles are available and they have a great selection of dry and frozen dog food . The staff is friendly and helpful. They have filled the space with clever pet toys and accessories. They change up the space often and it is always worth a stop by to say hello to the local resident parakeet or lizard.

Found great healthy treats for my dogs here that I don't typically see in other stores (dried sweet potato strips and frozen yogurt) and the customer service is fantastic! They always ask if I found everything ok & help me out when I don't.There has also been promos recently. I got a free frozen sample (goat milk + chicken broth) but my dog didn't take it. The cashier offered a to-go bag and back at home, my dog finally took a liking to it; saw the cashier is Dylan T on my receipt, shoutout & thanks a bunch!

Great service. It was my first time here and I was unfamiliar with the brands of cat food. But before I got to finish my thought, I was helped. Someone with cool hair asked me all the right questions, so I was able to pick out some foods to try. My cat loved the first item, so the trial was a success!

The staff here is super helpful and knowledgeable and the recommendation they gave me today was seriously a miracle cure. My dog woke up COVERED in hives and this stuff literally cleared her up completely within a couple hours! Top is before bottom is after- it started working super quickly too and just in the amount of time it took to give her a quick spritz before grabbing Benadryl, the swelling was already going down.

My wife and I went for the 1st time today. There's two hour limit street parking down the block. We walked up to the store, the door was open, the display coming in was designed well. We were greeted by a man who was on register even though he looked busy. There are 3 aisles: Birds, Reptiles, and Fish is aisle one, followed by Cats, and Dogs. There's a lot to buy for dogs treats-wise. We brought our cat in, they had her food in stock and they had unique cat toys that we haven't seen anywhere else so we bought her the crinkly slice of cake. There's a clearance section next to the register. On being rung up, we were offered to be apart of their rewards program as the cashier explained the perks, we said yes because it sounds like a great program. Then with the food we purchased we were told about a deal to get a free product with it, and we were interested. He showed us the items and explained that one was great for the coat and joints and the other for digestion. And we left. The people here seem like they care and are very knowledgeable. It was a great experience and although the store is far from us, we will go every month rather than ordering online.

I’ve been shopping at Brookdale Pet Center for well over 10 years. They carry all the well known holistic and natural dog foods. I buy Raw Dynamic dog food and Answers Pet Food and Primal Pet Foods goat milk. The prices are fair, and Chris and his staff are always pleasant and cordial. I highly recommend this shop.

If you are purchasing or considering to purchase chicken food from this merchant please don’t. The company they are using for the chicken food (New Country Organics) have changed the ingredients in the product. YOUR CHICKEN’S WILL STOP LAYING EGGS. I brought this information to the manager of Brookdale Pet Center, and she told me “there is nothing i can do”. I was also told they do not do returns on chicken food, because of the open paper packaging, which will make them unable to resell the product. We have been a long time costumer of this establishment, and that is what was said to us. Please do not purchase chicken food from this establishment.

I went here with my sons class (kindergarten and younger). One of the teachers knows the owner so he allowed the class to come in and provided us with an informational session.My 3 yrs old son needed to use the restroom so I asked the owner if he had a restroom we could use. I was appalled by his response, he said "yes, but it is not a public restroom, so we could not use it." So he then proceeded to suggest that I find somewhere else outside in 20 degree weather for my 3 year old to use the restroom. The friend/teacher suggested terry's across the street. So I had to cross busy Broad Street to terry's, when I got there I asked the pharmacist if I could use the restroom, he said "its not for public use," but then said "if it is for the child that is okay," and directed me to the restroom.If you are going to allow children to come to your store consider letting them use your restroom or provide an alternative. I was really excited about this place and was even going to purchase stuff. But after dealing with an inconsiderate owner this will be my only and last time here.P.S. to the owner, you have children too. How would that make you feel if it happened to you?Edit: I spoke with the owner over the phone. I added 1 star to make this a two star review and edited the review to reflect the owners and my conversation. The original review said the class was invited but the owner told me this was not true, that we were "allowed" to come in.

My son won a goldfish at his camp which brought us to this store to get the fish! Staff was nice and friendly especially to my six year old who had a billion questions. We walked in to get a goldfish and we ended up walking out with the goldfish and a lion main Rabbit. Lol they do adoptions and the process was smooth and easy. Their prices are a bit high as well as the adoption fees however you have to remember you are paying for convenience of a local shop. I rather pay a bit more than travel father.

I had heard this place carried the raw food we feed our cat. Seeing that it is much closer then the other pet store where I usually purchased it i decided to give it a try.Parking is a bit of a pain in the ass here. But once I found a spot in found that not only do they carry my cats food but a much greater selection then the other place.Not only did they have my cat's food but the two young men who worked there were very helpful and knowledgeable.They gave me samples of other flavors of my cats food.Outstanding service. I will definitely be giving them my business for now on.

I come here regularly. The staff is a bit on the younger side but I've never had any issues or concerns. Their reptile selection leaves a bit to be desired but I will take their welcoming atmosphere over Petco's corporate approach any day of the week

I lover these guys - nothing but good things to say. They have a good selection, seem knowledgable about the health needs of the pets they sell and cats and dogs. They will order things for you. And they are very nice and remember their regular customers. Their prices are comparable and often less than the big pet shops for small pet supplies (hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits).

My dog loves this place. We live just down the street and every day she wants to go there, she pulls me there! I have to explain to her that they don't open til 10am. But it's a great pet store, they have lots of great brands, all kinds of dog foods, toys, SNACKS, healthcare (flea/tick, nail clippers, etc.) clothing products. AND they have small animals, birds, and of course products for them and cats and even wild bird seeds/suets. We love to visit and Molly always chooses a little snack while we're there. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and they are definitely covid-safe!

Specializing in pet foods you won't find at a chain pet food store. Small but well stocked. The store is clean. The fish tanks are sparkling and the one cockatiel bird is very sweet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only drawback is parking. Only street parking is available and this is a busy road with lots of shops and restaurants.

I gave this place countless chances to improve. I don't think there has been one single time where my pet food order has went according to plan. The order would either be 'forgotten', 'delayed', or the 'manufacturers delay' every single time we ordered.Several times I've called the order in and it just wasn't even placed, the staffs response is always completely lackadaisical. Wild when you try and support a local place for two years and they still find a way to fumble the ball so much.The nail in the coffin came when I saw a social media post related to this place I totally disagreed with.NO IDEA how this place is 4.5 on google.

I went here since I’m trying to get away from big box stores. They have a lot of items, and a lot that I haven’t seen anywhere else for skin problems. Staff wasn’t as knowledgeable in some items as I’d think but I ended up with what I wanted.

Many years ago I purchased a cat carrier..And it looks like brand new! My Ninja is 16lbs and 12years old and is very comfy in it..I found the staff to be personable friendly yet professional. I have recommended them to people at my Vet's Dr Cameron..I use them before I use Amazon I am headed there tmo to pick a water fountain for my boy.Thanks so much for making a local Monclarian gal a happy camper!
