This dollar general has very poor management, there's a female manager there that was very rude and nasty to a disabled lady friend of mine, I won't be going back there, I'd rather drive 20 minutes to the Newton dollar general !!

Cashiers are nice but the 2 women night and day shift managers (ones with the keys to the registers)are rude. They deny coupons before scanning and you tell them to scan and the coupons scan successfully. I don't need attitude when trying to save money and or without coupons. AND $5 OFF $25 IS GOOD ON CLEARANCE ITEMS ON 10/13TH...me and my friend were told they weren't until we made them scan them and they worked. Wonder how many people they told that too. Does not state not valid on clearance. Hire managers who can READ the fine print please and not give you BS.Update: Better employees finally! Big turn around. 2022

The woman who smoke outside the store through all there cigarettes in the handicap parking area and don’t bother to put them out before doing so, there are many people who go into that store and I don’t think they care much for the smell of cigarettes or inhaling the smoke being breathed out. The only good thing about the store is it has a wide variety of items that I didn’t expect them to carry

The Blairstown location is the nicest dollar general I’ve been in. The items are usually on the shelf where they should be and many items are a good value. They also have small shopping carts for children to shop with. My son loves helping me shop with it, and it’s the first thing he looks for when we go there.

The cashier (Linda) was rude and kept yelling "Next!" to people in line. She didn't even say "Have a nice day" after I paid for my items. Hopefully the management reads this and can re-educate their staff on customer service techniques.

Had everything I needed while staying at a local campground. 4 stars because the receipt was extremely confusing. I wound up paying the correct amount, but things ran up incorrectly and the cashier had to explain this. Great customer service!

Sure, you can get name brand products cheaply, but how in the world could they allow someone to plunk such an obnoxious piece of retail junk (store building) in the middle of our beautiful stretch of Americana, when there have been available several retail stores in high traffic locations dedicated to similar use. Blatant disrespect for those of us who enjoy Blairstown for what it has been.

This store is always cluttered and when you walk in you have to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke cause all the workers stand right in front of the door smoking. Then when your ready to check out you stand and wait for one if them to give up there smoking to check you out.. this store is a mess!!!!! Hate it

A surprisingly large selection of name brands that I didn't expect they'd offer. Maybe slightly more than Walmart can charge, but still far less than buying personal, non food items at the local grocery store.
