Brought a key that I previously had copied at this exact Ace Hardware, the guy at the front was very unhelpful and his lack of motivation to work was very obvious. He put the key in the machine and said “nope” “nope”. Unfortunately I left as quick as I went into that store. May I also say that a dentist for that store employee is highly recommended. Never again.

I always try to buy from Ace as they are local and I want to support them. But when they have a sale price in the store and I try to buy only to be told that the sale price is no good it's out of date I will go back to Amazon.

I came in desperate for any advice in the right direction regarding hooking my generator during a power outage, Ron told me everything I needed know and pointed me towards the right direction. He took a look at my generator and showed me different options of hooking it up and what not to do. Excellent customer service.

I live 30 minutes from this Ace Hardware but it was worth the ride. They had a product that I thought was only online. Late afternoon on a Sunday I needed fireplace glass cleaner and they had it ready for pick up. Thanks Ace Hardware!

Ive always been happy to pay a little more to support local business and always had a decently pleasant experience here in the past… but this happened last time I came in. Both registers were working due to numerous customers. After waiting in line, I went up to one that had opened.A lady with what looked like dyed red hair who I had never seen there before was working the other. She called for next in line once, then another time in my face giving me a dirty look. I moved from the register I was at to her, and the next person in line then took the spot where I was. She rung me up saying everything with a nasty tone and then shoved the receipt at me.I’m just going to make the drive to Lowes next time where at least the employees don’t act like that. Not to mention it’s way cheaper for the exact same item.

Tried to shop local.🙄..... Terrible service. Rude, untrained, disinterested employees have no knowledge of the store or stock. I took a lot of time to research an item online that I needed on that day. 2 were listed in stock. The clerk told me the computer was wrong and the items were not available. Later at home I ordered them online for store pick up, note for future....... when I called to confirm it was ready the next day, the same guy answered and laughed about it. I reluctantly went for pick up as I needed the items, but I'll never go back.

This store has a very poor manager.I bought two gallons of the Magnolia Kilz paint at 55 dollars a gallon. When we opened it to start painting there were big clumps of dried paint mixed in. I took the paint back for two fresh gallons and found the same issue in the bew paint. Jenn Stokes the manager treated me like I caused the problem. I suggested that she should give me a discount on the Paint for my trouble. She said she would not give any discount on the paint. The only thing she offered is a bucket and a strainer to strain the paint myself. So now after paying $1110.00 for two gallons of paint and needing to run it back for new gallons get a 4 dollar strainer and a 5 dollar bucket for my trouble. Ugh I will never return to this store.

New in town and needed a bunch of small things over many visits to get settled into our home. Always had what I needed and very glad they are local; I moved to Blairstown from a city with 6 million in the greater area. Every trip to a hardware store "back home" was a trek and not pleasant. Glad to be able to run over to the store and grab one or two items when needed. At one point, they did not have what I needed and offered to have the item delivered to the store if I was to place the order.

Went in with an oddball hose that needed replacing. The owner took the time to search for a number of options that would work for me. Even though it was a small sale he was helpful and curtious . Great old fashion service.
