This place is always super clean. Everything is super organized and well stacked. And you never have a problem finding things you need. Loved the fresh farm produce of this place. This is one of the biggest stores to get daily needs around Blairstown.

This store use to be so clean and have such great produce when it was AMP . Now it’s filthy . Don’t think of using the bathrooms . I wouldn’t be shocked if there’s roaches . The fruits and veggie's are just awful . People are posting mealy rotten apples .shelves are dirty to a point they look like they are two colors . I’ve returned items often cuz they have been rotten . The employees are wonderful . They all couldn’t be any nicer . For being the only store for miles and miles I assume this is why the company doesn’t care. they know people will have go so not to have to drive miles out if the way . prices are doubled compared to shoprite . If I could score a -1 star I would . I walk in and think I could get sick in here and want to wash my hands if I touch anything . Please please fix up this store

Prices are OUTRAGEOUS! Double everywhere else. It’s convenient thats the only reason to go there. Even their “deals” just make the prices sort of normal but far from deals.

Produce is terrible and most salads are expired…. If I could give zero stars I would. If you don’t notice when buying you will get home with spoiled food….recently moving to the area I’ve been met with huge disappointment in this department as I’ve gotten mold on berries, wilted and rotten lettuce, wrinkly cherry tomatoes, and weird discolored avocados. Recommend checking for expired foods and being charged full price for said items!Flat out do better Acme to provide for your community! For an area of farming you should have better quality. Fortunately you aren’t the only show in town for produce and I have gone elsewhere in regards to produce!

Visited at 8:40 pm on 5/29/23 to purchase infant formula. I asked one of the cashiers to please open the show case as these items are locked up. After the cashier spoke with the/a manager on duty who had the key, she told me the manager said that this section was already closed for the night.How can a supermarket like Acme refused to sell me an item that is 100% in stock and visible to (me) the customer? Not only was I inside well within time to get in and out before their "posted" closing time, but refused to sell me something so essential like infant formula. Acme is the only supermarket serving this area, and it's extreme poor service to the community to do such thing and especially with this type of essential item.I'm extremely disappointed.

As I was approaching the checkout earlier today, a cashier name DENA advised me in a rude manner that I was standing in the wrong place. I had not previously noticed someone packing their groceries at the end of the checkout lane before paying, and I had assumed that the person had already paid and was simply packing their groceries. The cashier was overly sensitive and unprofessional, and she practically accused me of wanting to see the other customer's credit card information. She then scanned my items so aggressively that the cans were crushed and Red Bull spilled in my bag. I am writing this complaint to express my dissatisfaction with the cashier's behavior. I am also curious to know why the store was out of rolls at 6 p.m.

I was on the road and needed some supplies. Don't let the name Acme fool you, you won't find rocket shoes, portable holes, or roadrunner traps; this is your average supermarket. I was able to find all the items I needed, specifically some nail clippers, a bottle of cranberry juice, and a container of dish detergent.They also carry Tasty Kake brand here, which is one we don't see in the northwest. I did a systematic search through the entire store to find what I needed, and was impressed with the content of their deli, produce, and butcher sections. I'd put these guys head to head against our local chain, and expect they'd come out on top.

This weeks special was 3 for 10 of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries. I went early this morning to take advantage on one of their specials. They didnt have any raspberries and when asked they told me they were sold out already. I purchased two blueberries and one BlackBerry. I came home to open the package and it had mold already on it. It was so disappointing. Know I have to go back and hope the rest of them arent like this one.

Everything is too expensive. They charge so much more for food because they're the only game in town. I hate shopping there and so does everyone I know in town. The prices are so high. They won't even bag for you. Every supermarket I've been to bags for you, but not there. And most of the time you have to go to self pay. It stinks.

The prices at the blairstown acme are very high,a lot of the food is out of date,I recently tried to buy hollandaise sauce and they had a dozen dusty jars of it that some looked like cottage cheese and all had expired 2 to 3 years ago! I told the girl that was working and she removed them all from the shelf! A lot of the produce is also soft and mushy! Not happy with this store, I was at Sussex acme recently and that store is being redone and is a great store !!

A lot of vegan foods I wouldn't find in other stores. Very happy with selection. However produce could be a little better/fresher.

Loved the eggs specials n butter . Apples so many varieties and all were delicious. Peppers of all colors at .99 cents a lb. What a bargain. Great place!!!

They need more people working the registers. They always seem to have to pull people from departments to run register. Their cart pushers are very nice but a few of them needs to be reminded that they can't push past people when they need to get through

Some cashiers there have very little personality which is why I mainly visit self check out but today I went to a cashier and she was fantastic! I think her name is Anna and she was super sweet and attentive.

The employees are very sweet and helpful. A bit pricey but nice to find what you need instead of running around.Has been short stocked so they might not have some of the things you might need.

Nice grocery store in the country, the produce department is pretty bad however. I was there Friday afternoon and the didn’t even have fresh broccoli. Most produce is on the verge of spoiling, and many of the employees have a bad attitude. Most of employees are smoking cigarettes near the entrance and I’m forced to walk past them with my children. It is nice to have a super market out here but it could use some improvements, specifically in the grocery department.

The employees are going above and beyond to ensure that all their shoppers are kept safe during this pandemic: working tireless hours, spraying down carts, wiping down surfaces, one way aisles, masks, gloves, etc. All to make sure we have the comforts we’re used to. Didn't think it could be worse but they have somehow gotten there. Several purchases have had expired dates. Food turns bad within 2 days of bringing it home. My worst experience was the bagged salad. I was now aware of expiring dates. I was in the store on the 25th of October, the expiration date was Oct 10th! That's disgusting. Very sad to see.The people that work there are very nice. The store is clean. Where they really have a big problem is many products are very close to expiring and this happens a lot. I have been shopping there for a long time. if they had some kind of quality control there it would be a beautiful store but when you have lackluster food which is the whole point of your business that's pretty sad.

Not sure what is going on in this store. Rotten lemons, 3rd time in a week I visited and no half and half, hardly any bread. It was a Monday afternoon??? The store is going downhill. Just won't waste my time anymore.

They were doing some work at the store on scissor lifts and made sure everyone could get through. Prices are a little high but its the closest grocery store. As for the workers, the older lady that was on reg. 5 was really nice, not sure of her name, but then a girls came to relieve her and she just started talking to the cashier next to her, no hello, sighed loudly when she bagged my eggs and 1 other bag, while I bagged the rest, which I don't get paid for like she does, then when done gave me my total and continued chatting with her coworker, no thank you at the end of the transaction.. I find this rude and they should be taught customer service. Nothing is more important than your customers. Give them your attention and their time, the 2 most important items in customer service.

Honestly we only go here when we have to, as everything else is 30+ minutes away. Like everyone else has said, prices are generally high and the quality of the produce is horrible (and selection generally limited). I guess a positive I can say is that there's usually good deals on meat, and the quality of the meat is way better than when it was A&P.I wish there was another option close by.

It's fine, but the store is confusingly laid out with many items split into two different sections with little rhyme or reason. It also has a limited produce selection, often drop products just as you start to like them, and their prices are generally not great unless on sale.

I have been shopping here for the 20+ years that I have lived in this area. It was an A&P back then.Now I still do. It's the only major market in the area. You can save money with the app which gives you access to more savings.They seem to be phasing out the cashier position or they can't get help. All I know is if you go there and it's busy. Ask if they are serving meals because you're going to be there for a while if you have a large order.Other than that you could drive for miles to save money if you don't factor in your time, gas, wear and tear on vehicle and things like that.

I have some sort of issue every time I go to this store. Most of the employees are just miserable and abrupt. Could definitly use some Customer Service training especailly the two at the customer service desk. I hear them complain about the customers all the time maybe they think we are all deaf.Produce is a disgrace... someone needs to come in and take a look at what is taking place in this store. Make sure to check ALL expiration dates! Oh and there are a lot of empty shelves pretty often especially in the dairy aisle. Im always told that the trucks didn't come in. Who knows.I hear shoprite is opening on 46 at the old A&P store! Hopefully this is true

This is a "hit or miss" store. Sometimes I am amazed at the great buys, especially the fresh fruit dept., but a week later I can't find any good buys on fruit. Very "pricey" on those weeks. Hoping to find better prices on fresh produce. I like the fact that no "club card" is needed to get the sale prices.
