Jodi was such a kind hearted person and SmartStop should feel lucky to have her. My dad unexpectedly passed away and the bank failed to tell me that his debit card would be deactivated. Luckily, I had a joint bank account with my dad and realized that his storage unit hasn't been paid in two months. Jodi helped me transfer my dads unit to my name and made sure that everything was set and stone in a matter of minutes. Thank you very much to Jodi and the other gentleman that provided some assistance when I came in.

Lisa is very rude. I called because I had questions about a family member unit. As I'm speaking, she continue to interrupt me. Telling me that she's going to look into a unit that was sold. As I'm trying to ask questions she just got nasty. I truly don't understand why people are rude.

I chose Smart Stop after having a terrible experience at Public Storage in Edgewater on Rte 130. Mike at Smart Stop was amazing and he made sure I was comfortable with my unit and took extra special care of me. It was a breeze getting setup and I must say that it was the best service experience I’ve had in a long time. Thanks Mike!

I signed up ONLY because of the 50% off the first month. I signed up on the 30th and was given 50% off of $4. I mentioned that it would make more sense to pay the $4 and get 50% off the next month but it fell on deaf ears. They charged me the full amount even though we had spoke already about applying the discount. When I went into the office the young lady there said that she would speak to her manager who approved 1 free month for the following month. I didn't need the unit this long but figured hey it's free so why not keep it the extra time. When I called to make sure this was the case they made up some lies about emails going back and forth with the manager because she had spoke to him on the phone. She said she never approved that free month and flat out LIED TO MY FACE. It was only a gimmick to get me to keep it more time and be forced to pay another month of get my stuff out last minute. Scam practices I would stay away and NEVER return.
