I have my oil and filter changed and tires rotated. The service was excellent. I would like to give extra props to the service manager Geronimo. He was extremely pleasant and efficient. I also love the inspiration board behind the desk. kudos to the extended team.

I went to take my car to get an alignment and to get my wheels balanced. I got a call telling me that they couldn’t get one of the wheels off due to the lugnut that they stripped. If I wanted them to remove it my total for everything plus breaking the lug nut would be over $300. I went over there and removed the lug nut quickly. After that they were able to take the tire off and balance the tire.

The service was very friendly but we were told we would be getting a battery backed my pep boys and we weren't told there would be no warranty on the product until I asked directly before tapping my card. I'm glad I stopped to ask or it seems we wouldn't have been told as I was actively preparing to tap my card when I asked. We prefer up-front business practices. Likely won't be returning.

Service/work completion was average. Costs, exorbitant. Promotions and sales are great if you can find one that applies or an associate lies and states you don't qualify.*edit-Shop Manager contacted me and addressed the issues. Great service came in late in the day with a window issues and rain was coming. Although I knew the problem and pointed it out. The front person made the call for the part it came within 15 mins and it was put on in less the 10 minutes. A simple fix but a very important one. All this at the end of the day well after 5 when all were ready to go home. I am grateful . Thank you. Pep boys Willingboro NJ

The process of making an appointment through actually having service performed in my vehicle was smooth and painless. There was no attempt made to suggest unnecessary repairs, though they did provide an inspection. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the name of the gentleman who assisted me, but he was very personable. Prices were also reasonable.

Literally was in tears, in a bind and wasn’t sure how I was going to figure it out and Geronimo and his team that worked the night of 1/4/24 were amazing. They were super patient with me while I figured out the funds and before I had even arrived, someone who wasn’t even on the clock at the time went out of his way to find an affordable option for my car so that I wasn’t stranded over 40 minutes from home. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. Thank you so so much guys!!!!

I visited Pep Boys on Sunday April 14th for a brake inspection. I was told that I need brakes and rotors and that it would be about $500. Come to find out after getting a second opinion from Pep Boys in Marlton, I do NOT need brakes or rotors! The staff tried to take advantage of me because I’m a woman. I am extremely disenchanted that this would happen at this chain. I was given an assessment video of what I was told I needed. I wonder whose car the video was of because it wasn’t mine! I have yet to contact the Better Business Bureau. Please do NOT step foot in this store because they are down right dirty for such treatment!!!😡

If I could give them no stars I would. Never bring your car to this Pep Boys you wait forever and they never fix the problem. I have gone there twice for the same problem and each time the problem wasn’t fixed. They had no problem taking my money each time. I called the place to tell them the problem wasn’t fixed and the person on the phone was very nasty tell me I am the problem. I will never take my car there again. They just rip you off!!!

I only gave this rating 2 stars because I wasn't charged for a diagnostic. Otherwise 0 stars. I had to call for updates. Was originally told part was in stock then at end of day after calling yet again told part had to be ordered. And then informed mechanic would not be able to do the job today even if they had the part because he was too backed up, and this was at the end of the day. At no time when you explained in great detail the diagnostic did you also say this could not be done today. What he did say was the part is expensive but it's quick to put in. Thank you for your noncommunication I won't be using this service again!

The service advisor was terrible. Flirting with a woman who had come in after me and got her car done before me even though we were both in for oil change. I had a 2:00pm appointment and waited in the shop for them to do the oil change. They didn’t check me out until 6:30pm. Terrible customer service. Tried telling me that I had an after market oil drain plug but what they showed me was clearly a brand new toggle bolt. No signs of oil on this supposed after market plug.

Such liers, I was told 15 dollars a piece for installation of a new tire, ended up paying 78 bucks for 2 .. moreover, I was told that they were not able to unscrew the old tires and will need a special mechanic to do it, made me drop the new tires at shop while waiting for almost 1 more week. Worst pep boys location in Jersey!

I've been dealing with Pep Boys, Edgewater Park, for tires since the early '90s. I've always received excellent service and pricing. My most recent visit was no exception. I was a little disappointed that my tires weren't delivered on the day of my initial appointment, which I made online, and why I rated four stars instead of five. However, I received a phone call, as promised, the next day, when my tires had been delivered. I went right from work that second day. They literally got me in immediately and I was done in less than one hour. Excellent service, in my opinion! I'm very happy with my new tires and they make my old truck, with a little over 311,000 miles on it, ride a little smoother. I've always recommended Pep Boys, Edgewater Park, to friends who ask and I will continue to do so! Thank you guys for another job well done!!

I scheduled an appointment online for a Mobile 1 oil change. When they pulled my car into the shop, the tech Scott B. spent more time walking around and into the store area then working on my car. This made me very nervous as I have been around shops a long time. It almost appeared as if he didn't know what he was doing. I then notice him bringing Pennzoil over to my car. Luckily he walked into the store again so I could ask about it. The cashier stated I was scheduled for Pennzoil. They were willing to change it when I complained that is not what I had scheduled. The only additional safety check he performed was checking my tire depth. I did not get the tire rotation as stated online. After I paid I did notice my paperwork stated Mobile 1 oil change but the idiot cashier changed it. I guess she needs to actually learn to read what services people schedule. Couldn't wait to arrive home and check under the hood to make everything was okay. I would suggest if you get any work done there to watch them like a hawk from the waiting room

Seem to have issues with scheduling as they schedule too many folks at the same time. It took a total of 8 hours for 2 cars to get oil changes!! The prices are also getting steeper, which is also becoming a problem for the budget.

Had a lifetime warranty for a rebuilt or remanufactured alternator from a previous service earlier in the year... Glad I purchased the extended service warranty as well, because rebuilt quality is a hit or miss these days. Achim is a veteran technician that has taken care of my wife's Acura MDX. So I trust this shop solely for this technician. I have a closer location in bordentown, but I have yet to see decent reviews on that location.Good communication overall with text and voicemail updates on long wait for the replacement part delivery.Sidenote:Sad to see the retail side of pep boys closed down, but they just wasn't competitive enough in pricing.

We went to pep boys in Beverly for tires.... had a decent deal on good tires i also opted for the road Hazzard insurance, long story short they scratched and chipped 3 out of 4 of the black wheels from the socket they used also the wheel balancer chipped the paint where the hub is.... just wanted them to repair the wheels... The service manager avoids me at all cost and won't return my calls or emails..... I even showed up unannounced with the car and he walked out into the shop got in his car and had his service writer tell us he was going to lunch! I called corporate they wont even return my calls. Why, as a company, you can't own your mistakes and make things right is beyond me.

If its possible I would give minus F review to this place.They took 2 hours just for changing engine oil in my car even when no other customers were present there.Really so slow in their job.I would never recommend this place to anyone ever.

Horrible service , I dropped my car off. The advisor was on his personal cell phone handling personal matters he took extremely long to give me service. When I picked my car up, he was on his personal phone yet again handling personal matters going back-and-forth with someone about his “email, not being correct and him not being able to receive the documents that he needed” He handed me my keys I had to go look for my car he did not say anything to me, not one word, or explain future services the worst experience ever. I would never recommend this place to no one. The person that handled my job name was James O horrible extremely unprofessional

This was not a very good experience. The appointment for tires was for 12:00 pm, but they didn't start until 1:00 pm.I stopped in after having lunch at a nearby pub and was told that I needed front disc pads; the rear pads were not as bad and could wait for a while.The estimated cost climbed to $1500.00. I okay'd the additional work.When they called to say the job was finished, the cost was $1667.00. I gave them a coupon for 10% off, but the system didn't apply it. The clerk didn't seem to know how to fix the issue, so I was promised free oil changes to make up the difference.I won't be coming back to this store.

Never againI went in for a oil change and came back with a torn sun visor. I let them know hey one of your guys ripped the upholstery on my sun visor and he said “we can’t do anything about it” hooked it to my sunroof to keep it from blocking my visor and sent me on my way. No accountability just a “whoops my bad” ALL FOR A OIL CHANGE!!!

Booked an appointment for wheel balancing online. Got to my appointment, checked in, gave the man behind the counter my keys and waited for my truck to be worked on. The technician saw that I had a nail in my tire and they decided to plug it no charge. Overall a great experience.Random tip for anyone waiting in the waiting room. It's okay to ask if they can turn the air condition on. I'm not sure why everyone was sitting there in the warmth. I for one like to be comfortable while waiting for however long it takes to get my vehicle repaired. They did not mind at all when I asked.

Within a five Mile radius from my home there are 4 to 5 Centers, but the Edgewater Center had the specific brakes that I put on my vehicle. Mr Ruffin (store manager) and Mr Danny who was working the parts department understood my choice for brake shoes. My original order had a discount and was done online, these gentleman gave me the discounted price. All the centers work together and give the client the best team effort to supply what is needed, and this is my Five Star testimony. Give Pep boys the opportunity to work with your automotive needs, try them you'll like it.
