Very nice local game store. They have great presentation and lots of different games to offer. I have been going there recently to participate in the Wednesday night legacy tournament for Magic the gathering. There is always a good turnout. The players there are very friendly and nice. Upstairs, they have a whole bunch of different games that you can test and try out.

If you're into Magic: The Gathering, this is your store. They sell packs, sets, singles, accessories, you name it. They also run MTG events several days a week or n the big common room on the second floor. . I bought a few pre-made Commander decks here, but MTG isn't my main thing. From a tabletop RPG perspective, I used to visit this store for a weekly game of D&D back in 2019. They actually carried more tabletop RPGs back then. Nowadays, this is basically a shop dedicated to MTG and Warhammer minis. They do carry official D&D books, but virtually nothing else in terms of third-party D&D supplements or other TTRPGs. They also have a basic selection of board games, but again, it's not their forte. It's too bad, because it's a really nice store. I just wish it was a real FLGS (friendly local gaming store). The staff in general isn't very welcoming, especially if you're not one of their MTG regulars. This store has so much potential, but it falls short for non-MTG gamers, which is especially sad considering that my only other FLGS, The Only Game in Town, didn't survive the pandemic. 5-stars for MTG fans, 3-stars for other tabletop gamers.

Very unforgiving prize structures for more casual MTG events, offering nothing to players who end up with one win, let alone zero wins. Poor communication from staff, and slow/no responses to questions on Facebook or Discord.Great play space, well lit and clean with a clean bathroom. Well stocked on great supplies and singles. I wish my friends and I could continue playing here, but other stores offer a much more fun and rewarding experience. I'd avoid it if you're fairly new to TCGs

Finally got a chance to check this place out. I live an hour away but word of this place has traveled pretty far. This is the most Boujee game store I've ever been to. Fancy shop on the first floor and large gaming area on the second floor. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only constructive criticism is they need to update the software on their tablets in store that manage inventory. I was attempting to purchase MTG singles and the software on the tablets did a terrible job trying to filter search results. Otherwise great place, go check it out!

Small game/hobby store with focus on magic and Warhammer. There are a some board games, but only a few shelves. The store is really clean and well put together; it feels like pulling up to a French country cottage. Staff is super friendly and willing to help and answer questions, they are very knowledgeable and into what they do. Parking is on site right in front of the store.

This was my first time here and they were having a MTG event hosted by the Scrybabies and it was awesome! The establishment was beautiful. It was clean and the staff were so nice. They had free food for the event. And their inventory on MTG was amazing. Such a dope vibe. Plus Gabriel at the coffee shop is a whole experience by himself.

Stopped in while visiting from Chicago. Super selection of games even for our very nerdy group, and they had everything we needed to do Magic and Flesh and Blood drafts all weekend! Awesome store.

This place has plenty of room to play MTG or D&D and lots of merch for both. They also had a decent amount of board games to sell. They also sell some snacks and drinks, and the nearby Claremont Tavern is really tasty! The play room is upstairs and I don't think there is any handicap access to that floor, and if you play Warhammer they no longer sell or seem to participate in war-style gaming. The real reason it's 4 stars though is because the parking lot is TINY and you frequently have to either double park or find street parking, which can get annoying.

One of New Jersey's few wizards premium network stores. Bearded has a wide variety of card and board gaming accessories, as well as a beautiful event space and a widely populated calendar of tournaments and oneshot games nights held to test your mettle. I had previously stopped in to get a few products, but after attending a few events here (competitive Magic: the Gathering) I can confidently say they are a great game store. When players had issues with attendance of the events, they responded with ways to raise that attendance and entice returning competitors with free entries or more prizes. They lowered their prices but maintained the prize structure for events, all the while asking the players for feedback. It's actually quite encouraging. Everyone who works here is very nice, the vibe is good and the owner's a gentleman. Cheers, e.

We drive out from the City because there is no better place to play MTG. The owner, Liz, is phenomenal - sweet, accommodating, organized and talented. It is a beautifully curated store. AC, the store manager, is incredible. He knows everything! The staff is the sweetest and the players are super supportive. Like a second family - everyone is made to feel welcome regardless of skill level.

Lovely place, but WHY ON EARTH isn't there more focus on a weekly board gaming night?! Magic and Warhammer are fine in their place, but expand your horizons. People like myself and my wife desperately want to find a board gaming store and community. This isn't it.

Happened across this place on a drive around NJ and was severely impressed by how meticulously well put together this shop was. There was a magic tournament which had the place pretty busy but the Magic card wall, Pokémon cards selection, and swath of of D&D books had me floored. I wish I lived closer so I could be a regular here! This is an awesome game shop!!

Such a cool ambiance and decor! It's styled like a medieval castle/cottage and it works really well with the game store idea

I was so excited to find this game store just 20 minutes from my new house. We moved from the Midwest, where we were regular customers at several outstanding game stores in suburban Minneapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, and suburban Chicago. When I saw that this place was in an old building (which looked gorgeous) and also called itself an "ultimate destination for games and gaming," I must say I had high hopes. I brought my two kids hoping to find some Haba or Gamewright kids games, and I figured I'd find a game or two for my wife and me (we prefer trick-takers, co-ops, and Spiel winners). When we entered the store we saw a fair selection of dice and CCG's. The upstairs looked pretty cool; there were tables set up by nice, large windows, and people were happily playing Magic. The workers also seemed friendly. I took the kids back downstairs, thinking I had missed their board game selection. Then I realized, it was essentially limited to a single table and some small amount of shelving under the stairs. They had Gloomhaven, Catan expansions, and some other recent games and that's it. It was easily the poorest selection of games I have ever seen at a game store, and it certainly doesn't qualify it to be calling itself the "ultimate destination for games." To be honest, I was shocked at how little they actually had. I guess I'll keep searching for a decent game store in North Jersey; this is not it, unfortunately. I'm sure the community and gaming nights are cool, but the store and selection get an "F" from me.

I have been a player of magic since 1993. I moved to the area and decided to take a look at a few places. The other shops I visited were nice dont get me wrong and had a steady supply of cards. However the moment you even look at the exterior of this place you feel a sense of wow factor. When you enter they have cozy environment, staff is always ready and enthusiastic about answering questions. They have buy trade cards, lounge type environment, food, other items and hobbies to buy. All this is great but when you go upstairs to the gaming zone wow right away. I have never see such organization of players. It is a great place. Tavern next door for the 21+ players to grab a beverage before laying down destruction. Overall I am very satisfied with this place and will be returning. Check out website facebook.

This is a fantastic store! They have an amazing selection of Magic cards and Warhammer 40K products. The play space upstairs is a nice size. The look and feel of this store, located in an old house, adds to what makes it a great gaming location!

Great business, solid play space. They have a large amount of sealed product, in addition to a fantastic selection of singles. They sell a small selection of squishables plushies, in addition to a large selection of tabletop games, like D&D books, miniatures for ttrpg's and board games.

Atmosphere is great. Environment is everything you could hope for in a game store. Thursday night EDH is a highlight, prize packs are fair and the owner/staff are very communicative.

Great place with really helpful staff. I go dThere for my dnd minis. Great selection of unpainted minis.. I only wish they carried some paints. Overall ten of ten. They are also very clean and kid friendly. I brought my six year olds there and they were great interacting with them.

Amazing shop and really great customer service. AC and the Pokémon guy ( can’t remember if that’s right, but I’m pretty sure those are there nickname) anyways they took the time to help me set up my new affinity deck. They had 74/75 of the cards I needed I was pretty amazed never been able to walk out of a shop with everything I needed. Great experience 10/10 would visit again.

Very nice atmosphere and good selection of board games, card games and dice. Upstairs area is large enough for several gaming tables to be active at once but can get noisy. Smaller selection of RPG books, Warhammer products and Bones miniatures. Staff is polite and friendly, clearly interested in the store subject matter and makes an effort to accommodate visitors. Parking is limited but street parking is available and neighborhood appears safe.

I've only been here once but that's all it takes to see this place is head and shoulders above your typical "friendly local game store". Beautiful interior, CLEAN, lots of room for gaming. The day I came in they were running a huge MtG tourney with a Black Lotus as the grand prize. Must have been 100 people or more signed up.Staff was super friendly despite the fact that they were mobbed and my friend and I were just there to browse.

Great place for MTG & D&D. Lots of gaming space available. And Andrew is a great guy who went out of his way multiple times to help accommodate a monthly wargaming group we set up there. However, we had scheduling conflicts almost every time we went, winding up double booked without ever being told ahead of time and scheduling game days a month in advance, or being told we had a time slot that promptly got double-booked despite taking a day that we were told was clear. The worst example is when they sold their entire wargaming stock off without telling us or posting about it on their pages.Good store, but disorganized management.

The Bearded Dragon has a solid selection of boardgames, card games, and tabletop miniatures. They also have a growing selection of MtG singles. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you get anything you need. The store itself is extremely clean and has a very cozy atmosphere with leather sofa chairs, chess sets, fireplaces, and a dragon motif throughout. The entire second floor is also an open space with tables and chairs devoted to playing any games you purchase or bring. It is my absolute prefered store to pick up anything gaming related. And their Friday night magic drafts are extremely enjoyable and not overly competitive.

Board games, card games, minifigs, they've got it. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and Magic the Gathering nights are well-populated. I highly recommend this place to anyone with at least one of these interests.

Excellent staff. We went to the shop to pick up lands due to my girlfriend needing them for a work project. They gave them for free. Wished they had Call of Cthulhu games there but if I was a local I would definitely make that a regular haunt.
