Really awesome selection of wine, beer, and other spirits at relatively good prices. The staff is generally friendly and they are very knowledgeable, especially on wine. In the imported beer department, the selection is good but not always consistent, and there aren't many beer experts in the store. The store is clean and filled with extra products, artisanal cheeses, and other gift ideas. They also have occasional wine tastings. Highly recommended spot.

I live in FL and my Boss lives in NJ and I often order things to be delivered for various events, Birthdays, etc. The team and Gary's is always and I mean always so receptive to my needs. The ease of ordering something and having it delivered could be an example for companies across the world. They are so nice and efficient. They have my information in the system. Also as a note, their delivery is so fast. I highly recommend Gary's. My next trip to NJ I will pop in and say Thank you in person.

This is my goto liquor store . All your adult beverage needs plus the deli with the most outrageous artisan bread. Oodles of jams, jellies and savory spreads and deli favorites. Their cheese selection is incredible. You can also get great gifts for any occasion. The staff is helpful and friendly. If you can't find what you need here, then you don't know what you need. Lastly, it's is wonderfully clean. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming. Always a joy to support their business.

Selection is really great, but what makes this place worthwhile is its staff. Staff is so knowledgeable from helping you pick amazing wine to cheese. The staff always gives great suggestions and are so friendly. Staff really makes this place! Only place I trust for getting wine and gifts during the holidays.

Super convenient using the iPhone app to make my order and the delivery was made on the same day. Gary’s was efficient in handling any order adjustments too. I had one item that was out of stock and they gave me a call right away to figure out if I wanted to replace or remove it from my order. The delivery was good too. It was within my selected time frame and completely contact-free. They organized everything neatly and bagged or boxed specific items. Great experience!

Personnel always great and knowledgeable. Also visited the Madison and Wayne locations within the last month and same type personnel. Try the deli section in Bernardsville for a little Buttermilk Blue Cheese, it is outstanding. Excellent price for the Barolo pictured and can not wait to sample.

Fun wine tasting for sugarless wine. Nice deli food. Cashier very friendly. Great range of wine selection. Everyone available to be very helpful. They don’t just point they walk you to you where you need to go and point out options you might not have thought of and alert you to items similar on sale that you may not be aware of.

Always well stocked with very good selections, including the day before (take your pick)... July 4, Thanksgiving, etc. The aisles are well lit and wide enough for two carts side-by-side. The beer & cider selections are really good, and they are always willing to place special orders for what they may not stock.The wine selection is really good too. I just wish they would post wine reviews next to the shelf price tags, like so many other wine shops. Volume discounts are rare, although club member discounts are available. In-store assistance is exceptional. Checkout can be slow at times. They provide assistance with curbside pickups and hauling heavier orders out, which is nice.

What a delightful place to visit and shop. Staff is plentiful and so delightful. They don't hang together and avoid contact with customers as is the case in so many box stores. Every last one of them will stop what they're doing and walk you to what you need. Selection across the entire spectrum is excellent, the store, including the cheese and deli department are spotless. Most of the time, Gary's can get what you want if it's not in stock. They got me a red Montrachet and now are trying to get me French Griottines - a large liter jar of morello cherries in kirsch, great with ice cream and true old fashioned hot fudge. Sandwiches are on gourmet bread from NY and carefully made as you request for a very reasonable price. Gary's even has a modest selection of half bottles, most of which are on sale, something scarce as hen's teeth. My review is limited to my experience at the Bernardsville store.

Went to the physical store many years ago, first time ordering online & same seemingly infinite selections online as in the store. Delivery was fast, within the stated 2 hour time, and exactly as I indicated in the notes section. Excellent experience and I have my go to place in Bernardsville now.

Great service, they had the champagne I wanted where others did not. They have an option for FedEx next day delivery service, which I needed for a special occasion. When it shipped, their system indicated it would be delivered the same day that it shipped, so I emailed them to see what was up. They called me very quickly, updated me on the shipping and delivery time to be correct. Sent me the tracking number and, the next morning, BAM it was delivered just in time! Did I say great service? I meant SUPERB service.

Great wines. Great prices. Frustrating website and ordering process. When online you don’t care which of the five stores you’re ordering from. This adds complexities and usually requires customer service to intervene. They do a great job. But it marks the experience. And takes more time

For the Bernardsville location and online. When I travel from home to visit my family in PA, I always look forward to stopping at Gary's. We always pick up a few bottles of wine, bread, cheese and other gourmet food. They have a great selection of wine, from everyday recognizable labels to high-end collectibles, and their prices are competitive. Their customer service is impeccable, friendly and helpful, from the sales staff on the floor to the cashiers at the checkout. Online: I love the shipping program, it pays for itself in just a few orders. Gary's packs their wine well and charge a nominal fee for ice packs during warmer weather The shipping is fast and they have even held wine to ship on specific dates for me. They are a big store, but with a hometown vibe.
