That's it- I am switching pharmacies. I've dealt with long lines and incompetence (receiving someone else's prescription) in the past, but the pharmacist who just answered the phone was incredibly rude to me. Their app says that my medicine is not available and to call for options. I call and whoever answered the phone sounded like they were underground in a cave. I had to ask her to repeat herself a couple of times which must have annoyed her because she was downright rude in response. So, I ask for other options on the medicine, and she simply says I have no other options and that was that. A great help as always!! I am going to Walgreen's.

Such bad Customer service. If I could rate this store negative stars, I would. I have had 3 bad instances with this CVS. One of them is when I went to buy a $100 gift card for a friend. When they tried to use it, it showed that the card had no money on it. After asking to simply redeem the card or at least get a proper apology, they rudely dismissed me.They have lost my business I’m going to Walgreens instead.😡

Simply the worst store management ever. I am a health care practitioner with experience in the field and interacted with a bunch of pharmacies.The staff is rude, incompetent and frankly doesn’t care about the customers. Being a Berkeley Heights resident, and the convenient location of the store, gave them several chances. But it keeps getting worse.Here are the most appalling experiences:- Bought a 100$ gift card for a friend. Turned out there was no money on it. When I reached out to the store, first they asked me to come back with the receipt (seemed like they didn’t want to deal with it). Upon presenting the receipt, they said nothing could be done and I need to reach out to Amazon or lodge a formal complaint to their corporate. I wrote on their customer service site but never heard back. Lost my 100 bucks and more importantly left with a bad taste.- Following successful scheduling of vaccine appointment for my 81 year old parents, when we showed up for the appointment, were told that they don’t carry the vaccine. Upon asking, they said appointments booked through the online portals are not their responsibility even though the store called me that morning to confirm the appointment. Had to take my partially mobile parents home and schedule another appointment (did that with a different CVS).- Refilled a prescription for my father. The package should have included transmitter and sensors for 90 days. The pharmacy forgot to order/include the sensor in the package. I realized it upon opening the package while on a visit to India. When I went to the store and requested for the refill, the tech had no clue and the pharmacist declined saying I should have come back sooner and it is not their fault that refill was missing. All they were able to do was to order my next round of refill. But I lost 3 months of supplies in the process despite paying for it. Moreover the unapologetic staff made me feel guilty for their error.Frankly, I don’t trust the staff at this point, and looking at other reviews, wonder about their business ethics. I would give them negative 5 stars if I could.The corporate team needs to investigate the store operations and its performance if they take the business seriously.

I was helped by an associate several times during my visit. She was friendly and kept an eye out as I was at the self check out counter. One of my coupons was not processing properly, she immediately came to my checkout counter and did not leave until I finished my transaction.

I became CVS client from my first visited CVS in Berkeley Heights , NJ and It was because of the friendly & respectful way the Cvs team member help me in very professional way which still do the same till today in both Departments, pharmacy & also in store .

I would give negative stars if I could. This is literally the WORST pharmacy I have ever been to. I am a local residence and the convenience of this location is a dream. However, the staff is combative, the wait times are insane and the overall experience is unacceptable. I have never been treated in such a terrible manner. Most times you go to a pharmacy to get important medication to help yourself or your child and want to be met with confidence. This CVS does not give confidence. I will be taking my business across to the street to Walgreen. Truly shameful.

Unbelievable. I waited in line at the drive through pharmacy for over an hour because it was pouring rain out and it was just as busy inside. I also had to take a phone call and I didn’t want to be rude and stand behind people inside while I was talking. So I stayed in my car. When I got to the window, I was told that the drive through is for covid testing only. Let me be clear… nowhere in the drive through lane or on the website states that the drive through is now specifically for covid testing. So then I had to still go inside and wait in another line to get the prescription that I need for tonight. The saving grace was that the young man who helped me was very pleasant.

Clearly I am not the only one who had a terrible experience at this location. I’m never one to write negative reviews unless something truly unacceptable happens.I made an online appointment to get Covid tested for 4:15. I showed up on time for my appointment and was turned away and told to come back at 5:00. Came back at 5:00 after sitting in the nearby parking lot for 45 minutes as I do not live close to this location. I was second in line at the drive-thru and the car at the window in front of me was at the window for a whopping 1 hour 10 minutes. I’m feeling sick so waiting for over 2 hours to get tested is honestly an abomination. Not only that, but for them to be completely unapologetic and rude I’m honestly just appalled. An “apology” (I say that lightly because I don’t really consider what was said to me to be an apology) wasn’t given until I told them I just waited over 2 hours just to take a 5 minute test.CVS, clearly there needs to be further action taken not only based on my experience but the people who have taken the time to review their experiences in the past month. The amount of cars that got out of line because of the wait is laughable and the only reason I waited is because I needed a PCR test done ASAP. DO BETTER CVS.

Pharmacy staff doesn't have the key to OTC medication IN THE PHARMACY AREA under lock due to loss prevention. They appear to get some smug pleasure by telling you to walk the entire length of the store to get someone else to help.Go to Walgreens in Stirling where the same medication is under no lock at all.... for now.

Used to be your average suburban drug store, however over the past month or two, this store has become worse than the Rite Aid at the Journal Square Path Station in Jersey City (which is no small feat). First the drive thru - one of the important features for parents of small children who are sleeping in the car, handicapped people, or even just people who have a to-do list a mile long - either stopped working or they decided to stop using it. They still use it for Covid testing, just not for filling prescriptions. There's no sign until you get to the window, which means that if someone is there for a Covid test, you're not going to know that until you've already waited. So yeah, you go inside and proceed to see a line with at least 10 people ahead of you...on a weekday afternoon, a Saturday morning, a weekday evening, all. the. time. There's only one line and 1-2 people get their prescription with no problems. For the rest of us, 3 of them have been there before for this same issue but had to leave for whatever reason and come back, 2 of them are parents of small children who are close to being homicidal after dealing with continuous whining, running around the aisles, "how much longer, Mommy/Daddy?", and "I'm hungry!", 2 of them are oblivious that this has been an issue for the past month or two and are flummoxed by the delays, and then the last 1 or 2 are on the phone with someone - angry - whether it's a coworker, spouse, insurance company, doctor's office, etc. This is unacceptable. I had to get antibiotics due to a double ear infection and they said it would be 2 days for the AMOXICILLIN prescription to be ready. Seriously?!

Stopped in the CVS in Berkeley Heights, NJ to get a flu shot and the pharmacy shared that there was an up to 30 minute wait, I had other local errands in the same shopping plaza and asked if I could check-in and run errands and she said yes and I would receive a text when my “appointment” was ready. 4 days later, still waiting on the text! This CVS pharmacy is the worst! And I thought getting the flu shot this year was so important and encouraged…what a joke CVS pharmacist!! Also, there is never anyone at the register and they actually have a bell to call for them.

I purchased a gift card here and used self-check out to pay. CVS charged me for the card but as I read further down the receipt, it also showed an error next to the gift card # AND showed the card balance as $0 . This was after the machine had an issue which needed assistance and the employee working pushed a button but wasn't exactly sure what happened and only thought she fixed it. When I noticed the errors on the receipt, I asked her to fix and fill the card with the correct amount. I was immediately told that CVS has nothing to do with gift card issues, please call the store it is to be used in to have them check the balance, otherwise she would have to ask another employee. When I insisted on asking a second employee, his immediate reaction was, "Oh, those don't work on self check out. There is nothing we can do." I confirmed later that the card has nothing on it so now I am out $50.BE AWARE that CVS is selling gift cards, charging you and then leaving you with a $0 balance card. This location, like others has a wall with hundreds of gift cards to buy with NO signage of any issues. Since CVS claims zero responsibility, I am currently fighting to get my money back with the gift card store and disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Jason is phenomenal and carries the company banner well! Everytime I have been in the store I always see him going out of his way and helping others. The rest of the staff is just as helpful and I can tell this store is being led from the front!

This pharmacy is a joke and shouldn’t be in business! Waited in drive thru 23 minutes with one car in front of us .....really? Doctor just sent in new doses of medications - they just saw same meds and ignored the dose change . Where do they hire these people? The pharmacy manager is a joke. She is clueless of what is going on. We have to use cvs because of insurance. What a joke..... we miss walgreens

The worst customer service ever! To fill a prescription is a hassle. Never a cashier around too. I will take my business to Walgreens. Never again will I go to a cvs, just because of the badexperiences I had here. Save yourselves the headache and go elsewhere.

Pharmacy is very nonefficient . I am supposed to recieve 2 prescriptions every 90 days. They constantly mess it up which makes for extra trips . They text you that your script is ready and then when you get there they only have part of it. When I mentioned that I was planning on changing stores the pharmacist was like ok . This has been going on for 3 years. Im done !

They need to hire more people in the pharmacy department. I've had quite a few times it wasn't ready when I needed it and then on top of that had to wait over a half hour standing there and eyeing her down like a psycho until I got it. It was an antibiotic and I was sick so like dude you gotta have my stuff ready 🤷
