Never go here!! I tried to make an appointment but the owner gave me a terrible attitude because I called when she was busy. I've never seen such an unfriendly and rude groomer. Just thinking about what they might do to my dog behind closed doors if she was able to act this way to me makes me feel so awful. They claimed there’s no fixed rate for the grooming and just charged however she wanted. She also overbooked and sent me and my dog back because she “didn't have time” after I made an hour round trip to the groomers. Her personality is the worst. I would never recommend it to any pet owner.

I am very happy with my pups first groom. I waited longer than I should have to send her to a groomer for the first time because I have trust issues and have been nervous about it. I recently moved to the area and found this spot on Google. The staff was very welcoming and non judgmental about me waiting so long. (Another place basically scolded me and told me I should have been going 1s a month) but the lady here told me that every 2-3 months is enough for my dog since her hair doesn't grow that long. Again I'm so happy with how my pup came out and I feel much better about finding a place I trust. Thanks again

I can honestly say I have never found a groomer that treats my dog the way I treat my dog. My boy is so excited every time he goes and comes out just the same. They never do anything without asking me when I drop him off and even give me a call to ask for permission in case they want to do something different. Another plus is my dog smells AMAZING for way longer than expected! If I could give 10 stars I definitely would. So happy I found this spot when I did!

I have been bringing my pet here for quite some time and she always comes out looking like a fluffy, white teddy bear. Very affordable. My dog is a senior dog and they treat her very well.

I brought my dog George here the other day and it was a wonderful experience. My dog came out smelling amazing and the cut he got was super adorable. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Definitely check this place out. The staff and the grooming are all top notch. A+ in my book

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG OR CAT HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM!I left my dog here for grooming and came out. I went back in to confirm if she had my number or my wife’s to call back when ready for pick up.As soon as I opened the door my dog came running out. She didn’t even bother to lock the door. Anyone could have walked in and the dogs inside would come running out.Instead of apologizing she started screaming at me.If this is the way they treat their customers, I wonder how they treat our pets after we leave them there.I brought my dog back right away and you should stay away from this place too.

I took my goldendoodle for his first time grooming . I used to groom him while he was a puppy, but a friend of mine recommends them, and I decide to take him to Claws & Paws, and they are super. The lady is pretty good with my lovely Boy Milo, and the price is not bad. I really recommend them

This by far is the worse lady in the world of dog groomers. She is the most nastiest person I have ever met. The man she has there working with her looks like he can’t even stand her at times. I was explaining to her if she can save my dogs hair as much as she can and she said no started talking in her language and took my dog and basically threw her hand up tan off telling him to throw my dog back at me. First 2 times she is sweet and now this. Oh and she cancelled my appointment time t last min last week for me to have to wait and come to deal with her for this. Be very aware of the negative remarks on this place as almost everyone that had been coming here she has turned on.

I was very happy going to this place when I first found out about it. The first few visits were great until she cut my dog claiming he was moving too much so I let it go and believed her and then I tried making another appointment and then she was accusing me of making a fake account and writing a bad review, I felt bad because I recommended her to 4 of my family members that gladly went and now I can’t. So I gave her 4 new customers and sadly have to look for a new groomer now. Ps: you just lost your customer :|

So I’ve been coming here for 2 years. My husband took my shih tzu for his haircut appt at 11:30am and this lady was extremely rude, screaming, telling him to leave the dog on the floor where anyone can walk in and the dog walk out. He just wanted to confirm that she had the right phone number and screamed on the top of her lungs: Just GO! I have your number!We were so confused, we never had an issue. Maybe she was busy, but this is no way to treat people.He went and took our dog back, we were concerned that she was not going to treat him right, if she talks to human costumers like this, we only wonder how would she treat dogs.It’s so sad because it’s been two years, but there are other grooming salons around. We are NEVER coming back here again.

A very friendly, yet professional place. I had to take my wife's dog there because the regular groomer was unavailable. I made the appointment over the phone. Once I get there, the worker and owner take a look at the dog and asks what do you need done. After which, they tell you how long it would take and send you on your merry way. No muss no fuss. I came back, got the dog, paid up and was out of there. Quick, easy and a good grooming job.

This was our dogs first visit to the groomers and they were extremely caring and made the experience easy. They even gave us helpful tips on how to groom her at home. We are happy to have found our regular groomers. Highly reccomend!

I really liked the groomer here. I've taken my dog,who's 15 years old now, to different groomers and they've been very harsh with him. But Devina is so patient and really sees it from the dog perspective. She was kind with my old man and did a wonderful job ❤️❤️ he looks handsome and not as stressed. I'd recommend her to anyone who's looking for a groomer who really cares about the connection between groomer and dog ❤️

We bring our Pomeranian here. He was kicked out of another doggie saloon. Sometimes he has an attitude 😂. The owner is really kind and great with my dog.She does a nice job grooming him. She even washed his harness and leash one time! Which was awesome.This is the only place I will go to.

Not only do I love Claws & Paws but my dog does too. We’ve been bringing him there for months now and always had a great experience. They do great work, their prices are so reasonable, my dog loves them and they’re so good at what they do. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.

Olga was awesome. I brought my 2 dogs there who have never been groomed before. They are smaller golden retriever mixes. She did a fantastic job, especially with my male dog whose fur is more curly. I was so surprised how good they looked, even weeks later they still looked great.the place isn't much to look at but don't go by that!

My little girl really likes these folks. The groomer she use to go to cut her tongue while grooming her and she has been petrified to go a groomer ever since - who could blame her! Because the Claws & Paws staff is so patient and clearly loves dogs they really put her at ease. She walks to the door and hops right up the step. She's still a bit skittish once she is inside but she's not afraid and she doesn't cry when I leave her here

I just picked up this place because of the good review.Horrible cut I've ever seen. My dog is small and no need to put a lot of efforts to groom. As soon as I saw my dog, i couldn't help but crying. She looked so poor and the cut didn't seem to be done by any professional. One more thing is that the groomer didn't ever show up when picking up my dog even though it was my first time there. It was the worthless $90 that I have spent.

Came to pick up my shih tzu after grooming and the lady showed me a huge red wound on his neck. Told me it was skin irritation and that he has been scratching it. She said I must've not seen it because his hair was long. I was suspicious because It didn't look like skin irritation at all as it was red and moist. Seemed like the lady cut him accidently while grooming and tried to pin it on me like this was something I didn't notice with my dog... I play with my dog and brush his hair all the time and would have definitely noticed something as big as this on his neck. After a week, a scab started forming on what the lady claimed was "skin irritation," and the site is all healed now. Not once did my dog scratch it or was it itchy as she said... Wouldn't have been upset if she just told me the truth. Instead, lies and tries to guilt trip me too...Will not be coming back

This is the BEST groomer I’ve ever taken my two dogs to get bathed and trimmed. She gives them the cutest cut and treats them like their her own, plus she doesn’t shave them to the skin she actually takes her time to make sure they keep their fur looking like their puppy-cut fluffy! Forever my favorite groomer in Bergen county, thank you!!

The owner is incredibly kind hearted and truly cares for our doggo Cookie. She goes above and beyond to make sure that the experience is the least stressful as possible for Cookie. We have been to so many other groomers in the past and they have been rough in the way they handle Cookie (she comes home shaking and with nicks and cuts) — but not here! Cookie is super calm going and leaving which is a first for us.Also the quality of the haircut is amazing! Cookie always looks super super cute and clean afterwards. I would give this 10 or 100 stars if I couldYou should definitely come here!!

Olga is a fantastic cat groomer !I have a 12yr old Calico Persian,she's an ex-show cat I rescued.Due to my work hours changing,I was forced to find a new groomer.I was quoted $70 for a "Lion Cut" and bath for my baby and told Olga "she likes to talk and won't give you any trouble,she's very experienced at getting groomed".I arrived 10 min early to pick her up and Olga was just finishing trimming her.I found Olga and my cat talking to each other!My cat was actually standing still on the trimming table without even the tether on her,looking at Olga saying "Meahh" and moving her head side to side so Olga could trim her neck."This cat was a joy to work with and I'll drop the price $10 for you".My baby has her new groomer!!

We showed up for the appointment but the owner refused us because we haven’t been coming regularly enough. They shouldn’t not have made the appointment in the first place. The lady was so pleasant the first time but no so this time. Not exactly sure what happened to her.
