Very friendly and accommodating staff. Went back to kennel area where all the kennels were cleaned and maintained. Picked my shepherd up after a week and came home happy and healthy. Highly recommend.

They took less then 20 minutes to wash and groom my cat and charged $80! The cat was wet and shedding like crazy. I called to talk to the owner and she verbally attacked me and stated my cats rabies was not up to date instead of addressing the issue. We never had a problem in the past and I can’t be how someone who was so nice for years can turn into a crazy monster at the first complaint. Never would I recommend this place.

We have been bringing our dogs here to be groomed by Nikki for a few years now. More often than not our cockapoo shows up with mats, long nails, and a sassy (to put it gently) attitude.. but Nikki somehow always gets him looking amazing. We call her a miracle worker after every groom. No one else has compared to the quality and service we receive consistently with Riverview. Thank you Nikki!!!

We've brought our retired K9, Blitz, to this kennel and groomers. Safe to say we highly recommend and love this place. We used to use his veterinary kennel in the past (in Islin prior to moving) and he would be returned stressed, skinnier, depressed, and chunks of hair falling out. The only reason we had to use that place was because it was the only one approved by the department that was paying for it. On top of that, they would tell us upon returning him to us that he refused to eat his food and would push their own brand of food for us to buy (meaning the whole time he stayed there, they must've not been feeding him). I knew we couldn't use them again after that. After he retired and we now have the full financial responsibility of our German Shepherd, I decided to look for a place that would treat him like family. Found this glorious hidden gem of a business and after reading the reviews, thought it was worth giving it a shot. By far the best place to care for your pets. Their facility is spotless, large space and room outdoors for pets to roam during playtime, caring staff that show love and compassion to our fur babies. Our dog came back looking happy, excited, clean, and even a little heavier. When we saw him in the bandana, we knew this would be our go to place for the rest his life. If you're wondering if your pet will be in good hands, consider this establishment as extended family and a home away from home. We've begun to call it the "Pet Hotel" because the way the staff welcomes you, it might as well be a Hotel.

I adopted my cat from here and the organization that held him here was absolutely fabulous! Leah was so great to work with and was really informative. Unfortunately, I scheduled my cat for a groom and with the grooming only available once a month I had to wait. When his appointment arrived I called just to iron out a few details and I was explaining to whomever was at the desk that Leah had spoken with the groomer the day I picked up my cat and they said the rabies shot would be on file that day since all paperwork was already there. When I called to just double check the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and wouldn’t even check to see if his paperwork was in the system. I immediately cancelled my appointment and scheduled with another groomer. Super disappointing.Responding to your reply:My cats information was scanned and such when I was the facility to pick him up for adoption and you didn’t even check the computer to see if it was in there. I do have his rabies paperwork, the principle was that I had it taken care of prior to coming to this appointment which you didn’t even offer to check. Best of luck with your business.

This place has a hometown feel to it. You are treated like family not customers and your pets are treated like royalty. Our dogs used to hate going to the groomers until we discovered this place. Now they get excited when we pull in. They always come out fresh and smelling great. An added bonus is the seasonal bandanas they are outfitted with as the final touch. Highly recommend!

Love this place. We bring our 4 dogs in every couple of weeks to get their nails cut. Nikki the groomer is good with them. The facility is always clean and the staff is always friendly

I can't say enough great things about our experience with Riverview Kennels!! We were evacuated from SC due to Hurricane Florence. Three kids and two large dogs don't make for easy travel and when we got to a Family Member's house to stay the dogs were just too much. They have never traveled and were way out of their comfort zone. A family friend recommended Riverview Kennels and I'm so glad she did. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to help us during a very stressful time. The facility is spotless! They gave us extra dog food to mix with our normal brand so the dogs don't get sick while switching them back since they fed them their brand for a few days... and threw some bones in the bag too! The dogs were ready to go home freshly bathed with cute scarfs around their necks!! A+ to this fairly new facility. Highly recommend!

Our Jack Russel Terrier (JRT) came back looking as if he never spent a week at the kennel. Very impressed. The last kennel in Stewartsville, New Jersey we had him in for a week he lost 3 pounds, and on a 13 pound JRT that's too much. Plus the cost is half what the kennel in Stewartsville, New Jersey charged us.
