I came across Walgreens on 1 Fitzgerald drive, due to the need of my son’s Medication. Not all pharmacies carry his medication, and I was advised by my son's doctor office to go to a chain pharmacy. I was very big on not going to a chain pharmacy for many different reasons, but one of the main reasons was because of the customer service. They tend to just see you as a number and not really give you that personalized experience that makes you feel they genuinely care. This Pharmacy and staff have been the total opposite and have changed my perspective of " chain Pharmacies " completely. The staff in this pharmacy are very professional and genuinely care about their customers. Wish I knew the names to the pharmacists, but every time I have had the chance to speak to them shows me how professional, and educated they are. They are very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. Sometimes I’ve had them check me out, which simply shows they are team players and work as a team to give me the service I need. I have been helped several times by Janette, she is very attentive and efficient with her work. Unlike chain pharmacies, I feel they are always willing to answer any questions regarding my prescription and is simply the small details that personalizes my experience. Thank you for your help and for preparing my son's Medication !

First and foremost, the manager with the blue hair needs to learn how to speak to employees- and she needs to learn how to speak to them in front of customers. I’m starting to realize why employees don’t last at the place. To be clear- the new cashier held his composure better than I ever could, because if someone was to speak to me with that type of rude behavior- I would bark right back.Back story, the cashier was clearly new. If something pops up on the register that says “call manager”- and he says- hey can I press OK, it says call manager.you reply with demoralizing sarcasm “no- it means call manager- I’ll be there in a minute”Then, literally leave us both hanging for what felt like forever but was really about 4 minutes, just for you to approach and say nasty “well you could have rung her up what’s wrong with you”First of all, you didn’t tell him that that was OK. You were nasty and you told him to wait he was simply following your instruction. What you should’ve said was: that just means it’s a cash pick up, you can go ahead and take her. I will be there shortly. That’s what a good leader would’ve done, so maybe you should check your skills a little bit and start to realize that maybe that’s why you never have employees.I honestly wasn’t barest for him. But he was very mature and handled it very well because I’m not sure I would’ve kept my mouth shut if I work there…Awful. Not to mention the blonde- she’s always so miserable. What goes on in that place? How awful are the managers that the cashiers are so miserable all the time?

My doctor called in a prescription to Walgreens, Belford, that my insurance didn’t cover.. I called and spoke to Anna in the pharmacy.. SHE WAS AWESOME.. she went above and beyond to run my insurance info. She called me with her findings. . finally I called my insurance and they had a generic that was the same so my doctor recalled in a new prescription and Anna called to tell me all is well! Thank you Walgreens for having such a helpful employee!!

The least efficient, least professional pharmacy in New Jersey. Every single interaction with these people is like it’s their first time filling a prescription. Horrible business hours, and slower than molasses. Choose any other pharmacy than this

If you need meds immediately you can't get them here. They're often not stocked with what a patient needs and their understaffed and always swamped with work. I need an antibiotics and have had to wait 72 hours with them. And my common monthly medicine can take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours to refill. And often when you do go it's at least a 15 minute wait and I've waited as long as 45 minutes. Because they're so overworked the staff is usually stressed and unwilling to talk to you. I don't think they mean to be rude I just think their workload is too big and they don't have the ability to have as many customers as they're taking.

The pharmacy is extremely difficult to contact for even a simple refill. Some of the pharmacy staff is not polite. Tries to tell me my medications aren’t there and one time I had to point out multiple times I saw my bag with my name on it, I constantly have to remind them to get all my prescriptions and check the fridge for them when they say they are not there, they are. Overall they are very unresponsive, can never get refills, specific staff member have an extremely rude attitude and feels like I’m constantly reminding them to give me my entire refill order.

My daughter asked me to pick up a bag of cottonballs for a school project about 945 on a Wed night. So I went to Wallgreens in Belford. I got there around 950. When I walked in I was greeted by a young man who asked if I needed help with anything. I told him what I was looking for and he walked me over to the cottonballs. Once we got to the counter to check out I realized I didn't have my wallet in me. I told this young man I can be back in 10 minutes with the money but he then swiped his own card to to take care of the transaction. I am so grateful for this act of kindness. This young man's name is Nicholas and I am so grateful that he was kind enough to do this!! When I came back to the store shortly afterwards I met his mother who was waiting to take him home. I told her what Nicholas did for me. Very greatdul!!

When you call to speak to the pharmacy, you are pit on hold and promptly disconnected. I wanted to speak to the store manager or a staff member, let me transfer you to that extension. I'm sorry there is no such extension. This happened when it was Rite Aid too. I still need to speak to the pharmacy, I don't want to go out today, it's Black Friday. Ny husband needs an emergency 10 day supply of his meds. They are ridiculous.

I don’t know if I could give zero stars but would!!!! Took all script biz away 4 months ago so idk if still the same but they CLOSE FOR WHOLE WEEKEND and then Monday comes around and it’s a s—t show with 200 scripts they’re behind on. I saw people in need of heart meds ! But at least the shopping / store aspect is neat and updated The one on 36 looks like a 3rd world country pharmacy!!

You cannot get through by phone and if you do you are often disconnected mid call. Prescriptions take forever. My doctor called in a script on a Monday. Went Thursday to pick it up - not ready. Checked Friday - not in stock. You cannot count on them to let you know what is going on or to get you what you need. I really need a new pharmacy.

Tried ordering an at home covid test for pickup but needed assistance from the Walgreens on route 36 Port Monmouth. Well forget about someone picking up the phone it was horrible just ringing and ringing until you get disconnected. So I tried Walgreens on Lenordville Rd in Belford and within a minute a young lady by the name of Maureen picked up and answered my questions. Thank you Maureen your store is about the only Walgreens that ever picks up the phone, I've waited 45 minutes to an hour at 2 different locations.

I called the number that I was given for the pharmacy and was on hold for 25 minutes. Then 1:30 pm came and the hold message changed to state that the pharmacy was now closed for the meal break. Called after the break timeframe and waited for more than 30 minutes before hanging up disappointed. This is NOT an optimal Customer Experience. Please fix your communication processes.

I would give in minus stars if I could. They are non- responsive, my doctor called in an RX and at 6:30pm it wasn’t ready, they told me to come back in an hour. I’ve tried calling - they don’t answer the phone. I had to go in person to have them transfer my prescriptions, RIDICULOUS

Does your company employ a property management company? I only ask because I've seen abandoned buildings with better landscaping. You're company is a true disgrace to our neighborhood!
