Great local hardware store with more! Forget to bring something on vacation? This is the place to go to get it. Not only do they have hardware, they also have toys, boogie boards, cards, shoes, decorations, everything! Prices are reasonable and there is a parking lot to the right of the building. Great people as well.

Hands is an LBI essential business. If I had to describe them, I would say they are somewhere between a department store and a general store.Need a screw go to HandsNeed a sweat shirt go to Hands.Need a polly wood table go to Hands.The people that work there are always friendly, helpful, and they can tell you where to find what they are looking for.

Needed batteries went to grab them at Hands, women behind the counter was rude. No hello, thank you, just rushing to push you out.I realize I only purchased batteries but she was doing it to everyone. Definitely not a people person.

It's so nice to have a hardware store on the island. They are very helpful when you need assistance. They have an amazing variety of hardware. Almost every thing you can need.

Absolutely disgusted by the woman working in the store yesterday. My plus sized niece bought a crop top shirt, and after she walked out of the store, this woman had the audacity to comment "that shirt will never fit that girl" and rolled her eyes. How dare she body shame someone. I told her it was my niece she was rudely talking about and she was obviously embarrassed and apologized, but I will NEVER return to a store that has this type of attitude. Shame on you Hands. Do better.

I want to support local businesses on the Island, but this is not the old Hands, I ordered a grill on May 3, the sales person said the Grill would be in the next week Wednesday or Thursday and they would get it built and delivered by Saturday May 13. I just called for an update and one giant stream of excuses, we had a lot of deliveries and the grills are still on the pallet and haven’t been unpacked, I don’t have a grill builder, we don’t have a truck or a van the owners took it for other things. He’s also not sure when he will have his delivery “guy” available. He’s going to put us on the top of the list and he’ll let me know when it’s ready. If it’s not in the store and you can’t take it with you, you probably should buy it somewhere else.

We took a road trip to LBI this past weekend, one of my husband's family's prime summer vacation spots when they were kids. So many things have changed over the years .. everything is so built up! Good to know, though, that Hands Store has not changed! I had never been, but I'll tell ya, if i lived closer, I'd probably be in there a lot! Great variety of things to choose from .. whether it's clothing, souvenirs, tools, outdoor furniture, gifts, gardening items, summer outdoor items (chairs, toys, etc...) .. you name it, they seem to have it! Staff was courteous & knowledgeable & were ready to answer any questions we had. Just wish i would've had more time to spend there!

Went there to get a souvenir shirt for some people. Very disappointed with the selection there at the store. Was able to find at least one shirt but was not happy overall with my shopping experience.There was an apocalyptic empty vibe there that was cheap feeling. The person (young guy) working the counter seemed uninterested and did not even offer to bag the item I paid for. The outside of the building looks dilapidated and outdated. Plenty of parking howeverI ended up going 10-15 min. down the road to get the rest of the shirts in a much better ran store down the Boulevard called Island Sun across from Fantasy Island.

What happened to HANDS ???Used to have a ton of stuff at low prices - flip flops - sweatshirts all kinds of stuff - it was the go to spot . Now a sweatshirt is $65 .. so sad .The real Lbi keeps fading away . Bye Hands .you will be missed

I am very happy that the LBI Hands Store in Beach Haven has remained open with the new owners. The store seems to be more fully stocked so people like myself don't have to travel over the bridge to Home Depot on the mainland to get our supplies. My thanks to the new owners for keeping the Hands Store open.Thank You, Bill Hutson

Could not believe what I witnessed in this store today. A young teenage worker (I think his name was Will?) accidentally gave a customer 50 more cents than he should’ve. Both his coworker and boss made him feel horrible and completely EMBARRASSED him in front of a huge crowd of customers. I felt so bad for him and he looked so sad for making a simple little mistake! They were being SO rude to him and just not caring at all. Everyone makes mistakes! I went back into the store and gave him a dollar to make up for it. Won’t be returning here if I will be supporting workers that act like that to others, and don’t support each other.

Hands reminds me of the variety stores from the past.It has a little bit of everything.Wether you need beach supplies you forget to bring orPlumbing supplies to repair your bathroom, Hands probably has it.Best of all, you don't have to leave the island.Hands is well worth a stop.

Have everything you need, but very small Men's clothing section. Extremely pricey! 5$ for a thing of off brand 8 hair ties that broke after a day to the beach. Quality can be a bit better overall.

On today's date 11/11/22 i called a few minutes before they closed asking if they had a certain part, and before they went to check i asked if i could come and buy it from them considering i am quarter mile away and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and said some nasty things to her co worker about me and the only reason why I'm not giving them one star is because the ladies co worker still took the time to go check to see if they had the part

You try to help the local owners instead if going over to Home Depot but when you ask for help you get the feeling they do not want to be bothered. Poor client orientation and they have minimal items.

This place has an eclectic assignment is stuff that you probably need. Today I got a 3 prong outlet converter, clothes line and Rust-Oleum spray paint. The staff know exactly where everything is so you don't we time wandering aimlessly. But if you do wander aimlessly you see something you didn't know you needed.
