My dr. sent in an RX for 90 day supply of insulin which in my case is 4 vials. when I picked it up at the drive-thru and pulled forward to check it there was only 3 vials, I went inside to find out why they shorted me 1 vial I was told by the associate that the insurance would only allow a 75 day amount and that I need to get them to push thru 1 vial at no charge. After speaking with 3 different people at the insurance company I was told they talked to the pharmacist and he cut it back to 3 vials because 4 vials was a 100 day supply (everyone knows you can't cut a vial), who the hell is he to do that!!! and why didn't anyone tell me that when I went to pick it up, I would have NEVER taken it. I was told because I pulled away from the drive-thru there was nothing they can do. So steer clear of Walgreens pharmacy they are out to over charge you and short you on your meds! I WILL NEVER GO THERE EVER AGAIN they are deceitful. p.s. if the leadership at Walgreens would like to rectify this it would be greatly appreciated.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. That 1 star is for the people who work the store part of Walgreens they do a great job but your pharmacy has the most disrespectful and worst customer service I have ever seen. You have sometimes4/5 people working back there and you still can’t get it right. They ignore people online , they ignore people at the drive thru, they leave you on hold for super long periods of time and when they finally answer they are some of the most disgruntled workers I have ever come across. You should shut this pharmacy down and either start over by firing all of them and getting new workers or you should just not do a pharmacy at all. You are the worst pharmacy in the country for sure. I would switch but why would I have have to inconvenienced even more than what I already am. You guys are a disgrace your pharmacist are poorly trained and if they are over worked it’s your companies fault do better. That why you and all the other pharmacies had to settle a class action law suit because you were responsible for the death of many people and aided in the overdoses and drug addiction of countless white Americans in the opioid battle. You have blood on your hands and are the worst pharmacist I’ve ever seen keep up the bad work! Sincerely sick of your pharmacy I will start recording every phone call and interaction with your store to post from here on out!!!!!!!!

I brought my 5 year old here for a flu shot. Ally was phenomenal start to finish. She was patient, kind, understanding, and friendly. My daughter was quite challenging and she handled it very well. Would definitely recommend her.

This place is like going to a funeral except that you don’t even know anyone at the funeral. Worst STORE EVER!!! I do my best not to shop there!!!There is one woman that has worked there for a long time, she should be manager!!!

Im on hold as I write this.. 4 x people picked up & immediately put me back on hold!!Its been 36 minutes and Im still on hold.. I drove there & no one in the line at drive thru . Get better help .. now the phone is ringing & no one picking up …seriously!!!! Answer the phone!!!its workers are very rude!! Everytime I come here for photo or FedEx its the same two people standing around telling me what they cant do. They "cant" print pictures but they have a photo department, they "cant" scan QR codes but they are a FedEx drop off, they "cant" print emails because they dont have a printer. Tell me Walgreens, what CAN you do?...because every experience at this store is miserable.

The people who work in the pharmacy are absolutely useless. Every time my husband needs to pick up a prescription there is always some kind of problem or they will text him his prescription is ready but then make him wait 30+ minutes.My husband needed to pick up 2 prescriptions on April 15, 2023 and the pharmacist and her assistant were flirting and talking while ignoring my husband. Then they kept telling him his birthday is wrong in the system and they charged him full price for his antibiotics and told him to take it up with insurance because they couldn't figure it out. We will never be using this pharmacy again since the people who work here clearly have no clue what they're doing.

Tried to call in a prescription and after 10 min of giving the person on the phone the information needed she sent me to a voicemail that didn't even work. Tried to call back to ask not to be sent to voice-mail and to actually get my prescription and the phone was on hold for 40+ minutes.

This pharmacy has the worse customer service I have ever encountered at a Walgreen! I have used Walgreens for many many years on multiple States & locations & have never received such repeated poor service! From getting my prescriptions wrong, over charging me, all which I put aside as one offs but the lack of friendly, cordial & when they are mistaken apologetic behavior is consistently poor!

Horrible customer service when you’re put on hold for fifteen minutes by the pharmacy. Around 2 PM on Tuesday august 16…2022… here is a tip for you guys from someone who works with customers fifty hours a week. When you’re too busy to answer the phone, don’t just keep putting someone back on hold without saying anything when it rings back. Take their number and phone number and tell them you will call them back. Because when you just keep putting them back on hold the impression the person gets is that you’re trying to just get rid of them, hoping they’ll just give up. I get that pharmacies are busy and understaffed- I work in an understaffed industry with people who usually pretty upset when they call. (Automotive). It’s better to just be honest with people and tell them you’re very overwhelmed and then give them an estimated call back time. At least make them feel acknowledged.

On November 2, 2022 after we drove home from Georgia to Bayville, our friend who is visiting from Canada and went on the trip to Georgia, fell on the sidewalk near our house. They went to Urgent Care and an antibiotic eye drop was called in to Walgreens in Bayville at about 8:25pm. We arrived at the drive through at Walgreens at 8:43pm and asked about the prescription. They looked on the computer and it was there. The young woman said she couldn't fill it tonight but it would be done tomorrow. We explained that our friend is from Canada and is flying home tomorrow and needs the eye drops. Instead of taking the few minutes to simply fill the prescription and put the label on the eye drops as she had 15 minutes, she told us we would need to go to Toms Rover to the 24 hour Walgreens pharmacy. This means 20 minutes over and back after a very long drive already. I just wonder what has happened to people's kindness and good will. It would have cost nothing other than a few minutes of this young woman's time to have filled, printed the label and put it on the eye drops bottle. It seems sad that we don't do these simple things for people anymore.

I visited my local Urgent Care (aka City MD) because of pain, fever, and chills caused by an infection I’m currently trying to overcome. The Urgent Care facility had me in and out in less than 30 minutes and sent a prescription for antibiotics to this Walgreens location right away. Unfortunately, nearly three hours later, I have still not received a notification that the prescription is ready. As such, I will not receive my medication until tomorrow afternoon; I leave for work before the pharmacy opens, and I will not be back in this area until 4 pm. As such, the infection that I sought treatment for will continue to go untreated and the pain, fever, and chills I am experiencing will worsen because this pharmacy has absolutely no sense of urgency. Awesome! 👏👍

IF YOU WORK A REGULAR DAY JOB FIND ANOTHER PHARMACY.The commercial/drug store portion of the store is fantastic, all the employees are great. These new pharmacy hours though...are you for real? Mon-Fri 9-530? And closed 1230-1? I work mon-fri 830 to 6 and thank goodness I had enough of my emergency medication to last me through the weekend, and I live with someone that can pick up my refill for me come monday morning but I'll be switching pharmacies. This is insane!Edit: its now several days later after my confirmation call that my script is ready and my father goes to pick it up for me due to your stellar hours and hes sent home saying its not ready!So now I have to call in the middle of my workday to do the job of the pharmacy to? Ive been on hold and they keep picking up and putting me on hold without a word. I get places are understaffed but this is just unprofessional. Cant wait to switch pharmacies.

Sorry But this Pharmacy Drops the Ball when it comes to righting there wrongs. I go to the pharmacy cashier to pick up a script...so they need more time... I'm not one to rush any one so I say okay and also state that I will be purchasing an item behind the counter along with my script to also give the intention that I'm here and waiting. So I figured they call me over the intercom to the pharmacy when they were ready and I just browse the aisles waiting for that call. To my surprise I turn the corner to see the gates down...and now I can't pick up my script because the draws are gone 🙄 And the Pharmacist Katie H says sorry you can pick up your script tomorrow morning....(my thought..No really 🙄)...then why say that you could fill it and when I get there...not be ready and when I give you time, forget I'm there and close. Obviously we all can make mistakes but come on!... Make right by them not put them on me to deal with. Add a draw it's a simple 1 minute task and 1 minute count out because there wouldn't be any money transactions. That's way more time I gave you to be ready. I'm so upset I'm Willing to do the frustrating task to get my script sent to Rite Aid or CVS just so Walgreens wont get my business and since I'll have the time now because I won't be able to pick up my script till tomorrow Evening...My god Walgreens and their empty promises of customer service.Update: 8/13Now the pharmacy isn't open on the weekends 🤡...My Goodness this place keeps becomes More convenient as time goes on🤦🏻♂️

This is the most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever been too. I moved from the city and they say the city is so bad.. not the case I worked with professional people and pharmacists staff. Here the pharmacist was a joke and the staff even worse. I waited 1 hour to get a prescription I transferred over since 11am I was told it would be ready at 4 pm.. I got there at six and didn’t leave until 8 pm.. There was no privacy at all the person next to me they were screaming out his prescription and then proceeded to talk about him and his sickness after he left.. I have never experienced this in my life in the city.. so unprofessional and while I waited all they did was talk about their personal life. I will never return to this pharmacy again and this pharmacy should be embarrassed. Oh and the best part people were not wearing masks. Disgusting!

If you need to run to Walgreens as a STORE for a last minute item, you're good. To fill a prescription? It's a real discombobulated mess. 1. No longer open on weekends. 2. Only open till 530 M thru Fri. 3. Is no longer taking call in prescriptions from urgent cares, doctors, etc. 4. Can't give a straight answer as to WHY they're not available. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere or you're going to find yourself in need of medication without the ability to get it.

Always delays claiming insurance issue. Why!? Its been the same insurance for how long. Been waiting 4 hrs because of this. By the time i get the prescription Ill be cured on my own. Why bother. Going to have to switch to cvs and see if they are any better.

Went to pick up scrip last night 2 hours before posted closing time- pharmacy closed. Tried to get scrip placed at other Walgreens because it was A narcotic for daughter having surgery it had to be transferred by Doc only. No worries I’ll just pick up next day. Walk in at 3:55 pm and they are closing the pharmacy and my script which was called in days ago is not ready and they won’t fill it now but come back tomorrow. I explain my daughter just had surgery today and they were closed day prior - they said oh ok wait then. I hear clerk explaining to pharmacist I was there previously and clerk being told I have to come back tomorrow. What the heck? I know it’s not clerks fault but what kind of store are they running? Later Walgreens….BTW doc office supposed to be open til 4:30 they were not there at 4 pm to call script into other store - apparently their office is meeting Walgreens pharmacy staff for holiday drinks!!!! 🍹

Its a shame that there isn't a way to separate the store and the pharmacy. The store is fine, everyone is friendly. The pharmacy however is terrible. They won't fill your prescriptions because they don't feel like it. The doctor and the insurance should be who decides when your prescription gets filled. But pharmacist says it needs to be filled on the day she decides. So if your out of town or working because their hours are useless on the weekends, then you have to run out of medication and then come back? The pharmacy is one of the worst. I obviously found a better one. But the store is still nice

Constantly out of my medications. The wait once you are there is unreal. The staff are nearly incompetent, pharmacy as a whole needs to fall in a sink hole and be rebuilt.

The worst pharmacy ever! They just decide to close whenever they want. No regard for others and their medication. There should be a technician on call to help instead of completely closing the pharmacy. It’s extremely aggravating and inconvenient to have to call another pharmacy and wait hours for your medication to be filled. Will not be returning to this pharmacy ever again.

DO NOT BOTHER to make an appointment on line for a flu shot. You will wait in line in the store and also wait for the people in cars to be serviced along with all the other "behind the scenes activities" that preempt people with appointments (quoting assistant manager "Paul") until they feel they can deal with you. If this disregard for your time and safety doesn't sit pleasantly in your gut, you can "get your shot someplace else" quoting the pharmacy manager. I recommend RiteAid which is right next door. No attitude, only one form to fill out, and I was in and out without an appointment in under 10 minutes. Rite Aid actually had more customers at the pharmacy and in the store than Walgreens did.

Pharmacist should choose another profession since calling and leaving a message to clarify a prescription is good enough. If I didn't call the doctor to call pharmacist, the prescription would have never been filled. If looking a pharmacy, try Rite-Aid but not Walgreens

This is absolutely the WORST Walgreens I've ever dealt with! I've been getting prescriptions filled at a Walgreens for over 10+ years & have never experienced anything like this store in Bayville NJ! If this store is that busy that they have to ignore customers then maybe they should hire a couple more people! I don't know about dealing with people up front, but the pharmacy is HORRIBLE! Thankfully Rite Aid is right across the street, I will take my business there!

I went into the Walgreens on Atlantic City Boulevard (route 9) in Bayville ,NJ today. I needed to send money via Western Union. There was two women at the photo counter and one (not sure of her name) instructed me to make an account on line and set up payment . I did that , went on line and after waiting on line for about 6-7 minutes , she tells me to go the front register and do the Western Union there because she was leaving, she was tired and had to go home. I was appalled at this display of “customer service “ and to make matters worse she said it right in front of the store manager “Joan”, whom obviously deemed it ok for her staff to conduct themselves in that manner. The transaction did not get completed as the manager would not even acknowledge my concerns or attempt to rectify the situation . It’s sad to be treated in that manner as I am an employee in Customer Service and would never think of representing my company in that manner.

This pharmacy has gone downhill. Ever since Linda (pharmacy tech) left it has become ridiculous. The female pharmacist giving out the wrong information and not filling out prescriptions in a timely manner. New Young techs who don't know what they r doing. They also put me on hold several times wirhout coming back on the phone.. Yesterday didn't even answer their phone. After many years of being a customer, I m leaving to go to another pharmacy.

Took my prescription at drive-in on 1/10/22 at 4 pm , come back tomorrow please. Ok get there at 145 pm 1/11/22 to pick-up, pharmacy is closed. I need my antibiotics please. Called store no one answer s and auto message that prescription is not ready.Wt?Why did they take my prescription on 1/10 if there s something going on with the staff.Now I have to call Dr and get another prescription for the antibiotics needed for a nasty cut.

My husband and I needed to retake a photo for our passbook because we weren't pleased with the outcome of the prior pictures. We decided to go back to Walgreens to do a retake with a different person. That's where we met Kaylee and Carol (photo department) who couldn't be more gracious , friendly and understanding of our request. We appreciated their kindness and humor and would recommend their services to anyone. Thank you ladies.
