Lots of interesting Knick-knacks. Everything was very clean and sorted nicely on the shelves. Lots of things to look at. The clothing wasn’t terribly exciting. It was also confusing how the aisles were set up. The blue tile floor was fun though. And the store was clean and parking was easy

This is the closest goodwill to me. I often donate to this location. A couple weeks ago I decided to shop. After picking up several clothing items, I wanted to try them on. The stations are permanently closed, citing too much damage to rooms no one can try clothing on. Unfortunately, the merchandise had to be left behind. I'm not sure why a process can't be managed to allow customers support to make a sale. Furthermore, there are no returns. So, the ability to see if clothing fits is pretty important. This decision to disallow fitting rooms is most likely negative to sales on the bottom line. I hope there is management consideration to restore this process, I love to support goodwill.

I go thrifting regularly, and have several in the area that I frequent, but this Goodwill is closest to my house. On the plus side, there are always new things coming in and being put out. Things are usually in good shape, and are in the spaces where they should be.However, things look like they've been thrown onto the shelves with zero regard for the ability to see what's there. Everything is so crammed that it's hard to tell what is available, which causes a ton of people to gather while trying to dig through commonly needed items. Also, out of all the thrift stores in the area, this one has the highest prices. There are some clothing pieces that cost as much as buying them new, and I've picked up some kitchen tools that were actually priced higher than they would be new. If you manage to have an item that's half off that day, it's not too bad, but otherwise, the prices are nowhere near alright, and I will often use it just to make a list, and find the same items in different second hand stores far cheaper.

I have been to several Goodwill's and I will never go back to this one. It was my first and last time going there. The Manager was extremely rude, she was reprimanding customers and making rude comments to customers. A quarter of the clothes didn't have prices on them and the Manager wouldn't look it up and said you can't buy it if there's no price tags. Every other Goodwill I have been to looks up the price on unmarked items. When I said the other stores look up the price she said they are all wrong and can't, which is untrue. However it is rare to find items without price tags at the other Goodwill's unlike this one. As I was paying for my items I witnessed the cashier next to me being very rude to a customer. She kept reprimanding her for putting her items in the "wrong" area on the counter. The counters were extremely small and there wasn't much room to put your items. It was nearly impossible.

Holiday Eve, I work consecutive Sundays, we close 6pm. Christmas Eve this year falls on a Sunday. We are closing at 6pm. My son's birthday is that day. He will be 25. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 Esophagal Cancer who knows how long I have with him? Yet I've been dedicated to my store and will not let my wonderful manager down nor employees so what do you think about having some heart 💜 and letting us share our family at 4pm. Closing at 4pm is so appreciated. Happy Holidays and God Bless 🙏🎁⛄this store is Bayville store 23

Highly annoyed with this location and apparently many other Goodwill locations as The company decided to close all of their dressing rooms. If people are really damaging your dressing rooms then fix it and move on. You have myself and other customers trying on clothes in the furniture section lucky enough to find a mirror. On top of a no return policy except electronics. Do better goodwill. Don't be lazy, fix your "damaged" dressing rooms.

Attention!!They look up brand names and only take half off the retail price. Truly disgusting! It’s used clothing !!google the products before you buy and you will see for yourself.

Dirty disorganized & I had to wait about 15 minutes for THE ONE OUT OF FOUR fitting rooms available, we were repeatedly told that they have been broken for awhile and that we could not use them by this time there were three other customers waiting! This is absurd if they have been broken for that long then why are they not fixed!? Not only were the employees were very rude about this, one female employee felt that it was entirely her business to chime in on a private conversation with my fiance. Unacceptable! The only reason that I gave one star was because I needed to in order to leave a review

I started coming here 5 years ago and a lot has changed especially after the pandemic hit. New managers and employees seem very uptight and serious. Things they get for free on a daily basis are being completely over priced and customers get treated poorly here. I’ve seen it happen couple of times the past two years shopping here. It makes me not want to come and shop at this location any longer even though I have found some great treasures in the past and spent a great amount $$$ here.

Worst Goodwill ever. the place is dirty stuff all over the place. The staff is so worried about people stealing they fallow you around. Good luck if you want to try anything on in the one dressing room that they allow you to use. you ask the staff about it and they say the locks are broken and that people messed with them, Its not hard to buy new locks. will never shop there again!

OVERPRICED!!!!!!! It’s free items for them but yet they still wanna charge Walmart and Amazon prices to us! They put tape on boxes and ruin the item they over charge for things that don’t have a sticker on them. The customers are god awful getting in your way and looking in your cart for items! All around this store needs to be updated also the amount of clothes for elderly is a bit much there’s almost nothing for younger shoppers!

I have to say I was shocked with the prices. They were selling items from the dollar store for 3 or 4 dollars. Was told that they tested everything to ensure it works, needless to say, bought an item and didn't work. They refused to refund what I paid (store policy)or admit they were wrong. The exact response I got was buy at your own risk.Lesson learned. Not only will I never return, I will never donate there ever again.

This location always has some great hidden gems. I have gotten some high end labels at amazing prices. The pricing varies and at times it seems to be marked incorrectly but it is what it is. Great place to find furniture to revamp. Staff is friendly but at times can be rude. Not exceptionally clean some days and could use a good sanitizing.

Friendly employees. Had to search a little longer for the items I wanted. They recently reopened and moved a lot of items around. Store was very clean and had a number of new products. Highly recommend.

Last couple of times I been coming here they never have shopping carts available for use. Plus the lines are super super long you usually have to wait 30 almost 45 mins on line to check out. Usually when I go the one in brick they are four times faster with the lines and also they have tons of shopping cart available. There only certain things I will buy not everything they are selling. They over stock the self with to many items. Makes me not want to look at it. Other then that most of the workers are very friendly. I just wish they do something about the shopping carts

No trying anything on here folks... Yes others are open but this store likes not cleaning all that mess.Bathrooms are closed as well. Left a full cart twice... When ya gotta go ya gotta. If I have to leave to potty so must my money...Beware there is a touchy[shoulder] worker there as well. Don't follow and don't touch, unless related!

As the woman working there is unlocking a restroom for herself, she turns to me to tell me the restrooms are closed. Looked me right in the eye and told me that with no comprehension of how ridiculous it was. No offer of help, nothing to alleviate what at the time was immediate distress. I am disgusted by Goodwill's blatant profiteering and price gouging, this was the last straw. Then the cashier was a complete jerk. Great place.

Donated clothes and household goods that we did not need. Clerks were very helpful .On way out of store I saw a pair of denim shorts that were in excellent condition and priced right . Best Buy of summer! Also saw some good buys in furniture & decorative items.Everything was neat and clean. Worth the trip.

Found this thrift store about three months ago and, in that time, have visited it numerous times, spending about three hundred dollars altogether. Understand, Goodwill is a For-Profit business that gives a very small amount of it’s large profits to a special interest charity and I know it’s absolutely not like Salvation Army or other NOT-for profit charities that use all their earnings to do good and help and support a good cause. And I know the owners of Goodwill have made their personal fortunes (they’re multi-millionaires because of owning and huge profits from Goodwill!!) But... that’s OK . I support charities like Salvation Army and the Humane Society- So... I thought I’d found a ‘gem...’ just for ‘goodies’ at great prices... because Goodwill makes its profits through selling things that people donate for free. OK...BUT... at my last visit, I purchased, with my $35 of merchandise, a child’s pair of new-with-label jeans. The store was about to close, so I hurried to the register to finalize my purchases... Well, when I got them home, the zipper was broken. i called the next day, expecting no issue with exchange of a defective, damaged item, despite the store's general no return/exchange policy. After all— I didn’t ‘buy’ an item that could. Of be used because if a defect... and I thought it must have been an overlooked thing, by the store. So... imagine my disgusted surprise at the store manager, Yolanda’s reaction... she not only refused to honorably handle the exchange of the defective item, she even said, ‘how do I know you didn’t break it and want to bring it back?’ To which I said, ‘well, if we are going to challenge each other’s honesty and integrity, how do I know YOU. Aren’t intentionally cheating customers by selling defective, damaged items, hoping they won’t notice until they’re stuck with them?’ I said, I would hope neither of us is ‘that’ person. But she wouldn’t budge, but to say, ‘the sign says no returns/exchanges.’ I asked IF the sign also warns customers that it is possible that items may be defective, damaged or broken so—check them carefully...I said that to make a point (which Yolanda didn’t ‘get.’) so I asked for—and got—Goodwill’s corporate phone contact and I called, speaking at length with ‘Carmel,’ who assured me she would relay my complaint to Eileen Walsh, Southern Regional Manager, who’d call me back. That was two days ago and she hasn’t called yet. I just left another message. I’ll post results—when and IF they happen.I’ve always believed EVERY business can claim —and enjoy— a wonderful customer service policy while things are going well, with no problem... but the true measure of a high standard of customer service is only proven when things go wrong and there IS a problem... and the business handles it with integrity, honesty and fairness. So far, Goodwill has failed miserably as a reputable business with integrity of service... whether it is the culture of the corporation OR the way in which Goodwill’s ‘people’ represent Goodwill— the end result is that Goodwill has a dubious practice that is NOT a credit to the community... OR it’s claim to serve a higher mission ... and THAT is a terrible statement about how Goodwill REALLY ‘cares...’Thank you for reading and I hope my regrettable experience with Goodwill helps you choose how and where you will support with your money and donations.

I’ve shopped here for years today my grandson and I o like we do every week and see a book bag for him grabbed it and continue to look around for more things was approached and asked if I was buying the book bag I politely said yes the worker then stayed after grabbing the bag looking through it saying it must be put in a carriage I was stunned for one the carriages are gross and I have my two year old with me she handed me the bag back demanded it it in carriage and bluntly said it’s the policy everything has to in a carriage or you a stealing it many other customers had come up to me and was like omg can’t believe this I am a store manager also been going here for years and never been treated like this by anyone even other workers. Said so sorry manager is on vacation she will be back next week one it’s a 6.00 book bag second I can’t even believe to be treated this way even I will speak to corporate and also to the store manager and take my bussiness elsewhere in a average I spend about 40 to 5 a week there not cause I need the stuff but for the workers to be able to work and then have this lady and another who ran into back days these things please pull the footage so disgraceful

Unfortunately I can’t give a review with no stars!! Went to Bayville Store to donate several clothing and furniture pieces. Intake guy in the back, not friendly or helpful at all. Downright rude. One of the pieces, a chair needed the seat to be cleaned of debris from a potted plant that sat on it. He refused to accept it. His comment…”when I say NO it’s No”. Maybe I should have bought stuff at Target and then donated it!!Next time I won’t waste my time and his and pass this place. No the only place that makes donations a real project!!

It was decent for a Goodwill store, not as big or clean as the Goodwill in Brick, but a nice variety of things. I left with a bad taste in my mouth because one employee was rude to me and my three year old son. I felt like he was ready to reprimand him every chance he got and twice started to correct his behavior when he wasn't doing anything wrong (such as playing under the clothes racks) When I was paying, my son asked to hold something I had bought for him and the employee actually said to him he shouldn't be getting anything because he didn't behave in the store. He definitely overstepped with that, and I don't think we will visit the Bayville location again.

I really like this Goodwill store and it's friendly staff. They manage to keep the store looking organized with it's abundance of stock. The pricing is reasonable but random and inconsistent on everything but clothing. For example, I could see a Snoopy mug priced at $1.99 in one aisle, then find a duplicate mug in the next aisle priced at $3.99. Still inexpensive, just irritating.

Great place to find things you didn't know you were looking for ;) always get some of my grandchild clothes there. They have shoes, linens, housewares and plenty of adult clothing. Formal dresses and coats and jackets. Heck, even furniture. You will always find a treasure when you visit Good Will.

It's good will...when times are tough go on Sunday because you can buy stuff for a buck! That's right a real dollar store. Not a dollar and. 07 cents or $1.25. Just a buck! So now it's getting 5 stars.

Why bother ? Store is not allowing anyone to use their fitting rooms. They should post this important fact before customers spend 30 minutes picking out what to try on...only to be no. Also No Returns policy. Waste of time.
