Horrible !!! Horrible !!!! WARNING do not take your dogs to this establishment! I took my dog to get groomed . First I would like to say that when I picked my pup up . It didn’t even look like he was groomed . His ears were filthy and he did not smell good at all. To top this all off , my dog ended up with MITES !!!!!! About 3 to 4 days after his visit with this horrible place . My dog began to loose patches of hair all over his body . We are currently still struggling to manage and get this infestation under control!!! This place should be required to pass a sanitary inspection.

We have been taking both of our Doodles there for the past 2+ years. They are relatively easy to get in for an appt. You can tell they love their four legged clients. Brittany is great!

Referred by a friend brought my spike German shepherd he came back smelling so good for like a month Brought him back again Today The two ladies in there courteous polite Very pleased great job!!! They do fantastic Definitely will recommend!

When I talked to you and made appointment. I told you wanted my dog groomed. That means washed, ears cleaned, and cut around private parts. That’s what grooming is. I like to talk with groomer to see what they did. He looked just like when he went. Remember these are like our kids. My vet said the most important thing is the cleanliness to keep him healthy. He won’t be coming again. No second chance here.

Just this afternoon I made a appointment to have a groomer come and groom my dog at 12 30:pm. No one called or shown up. That is okay because I did not like the last two women who groomed him . I decided to give them one last chance. Why make a appointment with me and then not call or show up. I found another groomer closer to my home. You lost a good customer in me bye,🙋 bye fur balls you are history.

I brought in two of my cats for a nail trim. One he got to with no problem, the other is a little aggressive. Though he was not able to get more then one paw done, on the aggressive cat, he gave it a really good try. I really appreciate them getting at least the one cat done and I will happily bring the well behaved cat back to them.

Furballs went above and beyond when it comes to service. They were very accommodating when a scheduled appointment was changed due to an employee not feeling so well. They do an excellent job and the only company that my dog likes - she gives them kisses afterwards!

First time in 5 years took our beautiful shy but friendly long haired cat for a grooming. From the minute we walked Mitch was sensitive to my daughter's cat, Jinx. 3 hours later...a beautiful lion cut and a happy kitty, exactly as my daughter asked for. You can tell immediately this place cares about animals and will take care of yours. Thank you...will be seeing you guys again...your place is highly recommended by this customer.

Picked my dog up on June 30, 2020. He walked in to be groomed on all 4 legs. I had to carry him out, unable to walk. He had weakness in back legs, as he is 14 years old, however, I have never seen him drag himself with his back legs in this awkward position. I am shocked. When I said something, groomer immediately started to deny, and tell me how she supported him as she groomed. Something very wrong here, he will go to vet in the morning. I am beyond ipset.

Came in for my puppy Mia's first haircut- Nice staff assured me they'd take it easy with her. She was in and out with in the hour! and she looked amazing! would absolutely be back! Thanks Fur Balls! :)

I've gone to this place numerous times. Everytime I get my dog back, it looks like a job we could've done at home. Nice groomers but I don't think they have much Continuing education on grooming styles.

I'm a Bather at Fur Balls. I have to say, the groomers and bathers take excellent care of the pets brought in to the shop. The shop is ran by Mitch and Katie, they will accommodate whatever needs you and your pet may require. I definitely would recommend this grooming shop as a first choice.

I took my babies ( 3 Yorkies-Snooki , Sparkle , & Trouble ) to Fur Balls today to be groomed as I have many times & they did a awesome job as always! My babies look amazing !! Staff are always so nice & friendly !!Thank You Fur Balls ! 🙂

My parents have had both of their dogs groomed by Furballs many times. I just called them to ask if they would be willing to schedule an appointment to cut the nails of my parent's dog. I explained that my parents dog is very old and not very mobile and just needs his nails cut.You would think after being a repeat and loyal customer Furballs would try to be accommodating. I didn't ask them to do it for free, I just asked for a nail trim/cut. The man I talked to was down right nasty saying his groomer wouldn't waste her time coming to Barnegat just for a nail cut. He said maybe the next time she was in Barnegat he would let us know but couldn't tell me when that might be.Totally, unprofessional and lacking compassion. I will make sure to let everyone know how I was talked to. I will never call this groomer again and will Mke sure no one I know does either

It is difficult to find a grooner who can do a Bichon properly. Mitch asked questions to get to know my dogs. I was very happy with the job he did. I will defibutel y take my Bichons back to him.

Mitch and the team at Furrballs are great. Finding a groomer to handle a long haired cat is not easy and we don't mind the 30 + minute drive to get there given the great service we get each and every time.

Person at desk has no personality. The music inside is so loud it upsets the animals they only except cash will not take a credit card and they did a horrible job on my cat. Will not be going back there

FIRST AND FOREMOST I AM NOT THE KIND OF PERSON TO WRITE COMMENTS OR LEAVE REVIEWS EVEN IF THEY ARE NEGATIVE AND I MUST WRITE THIS IN ALL CAPS SO THAT PEOPLE CAN AT LEAST READ IT BEFORE TAKING THEIR PETS HERE...BUT THIS IS SOMETHING PEOPLE MUST KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE. IF YOU WANT YOUR ANIMAL TO LIVE A LONG LIFE AND COME OUT IN GOOD SHAPE THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR DOG FOR ANY TYPE OF SERVICES. MY POOR DOG CAME OUT OF THIS PLACE NOT BEING ABLE TO WALK BASICALLY PARALYZED. MY PRINCESS WAS A NORMAL AND HEALTHY DOG AND I TOOK HER TO GET GROOMED HERE AND ALL I CAN HEAR WERE HER SCREAMS IN PAIN AND NOT BEING ABLE TO MOVE HER TINY BODY. I DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO GET AN EXPLANATION ABOUT THIS AND NO ONE HAD AN EXPLANATION AND NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. I’VE HAD TO TAKE MY DOG TO PT, DIFFERENT DOCTORS TO BE ABLE TO GET HER TREATMENT AND HELP AND THEY CLEARLY TOLD ME SHE WAS TWISTED. SHE WAS HURT. THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND I PERSONALLY KNOW A COUPLE OF PEOPLE THAT TOOK THEIR DOGS TO THIS PLACE AND THEY UNFORTUNATELY HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE. THIS PLACE NEEDS NEW OWNERSHIP OR JUST SHUT THE WHOLE PLACE DOWN BECAUSE THESE UNPROFESSIONAL GROOMERS AND STAFF MEMBERS IN GENERAL ARE EXTREMELY CARELESS . ITS NOT WORTH IT AND DEFINITELY NOT FAIR FOR OUR LOVING PETS TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS. PLEASE RECONSIDER A DIFFERENT GROOMER BECAUSE YOU WILL TRULY BE DISAPPOINTED AND I DONT WANT THIS PATTERN TO CONTINUE. IF YOU TRULY LOVE YOUR PETS TAKE THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE THERE ARE GREAT GROOMERS OUT THERE THAT TAKE THEIR TIME AND ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WISH GOOGLE WOULD LET ME LEAVE ZERO STARS BECAUSE THIS DOES NOT DESERVE A SINGLE ONE.

We only use Fur Balls for our 8 year old Old English Sheepdog !! They are patient and kind !!
