Sold me a male Guinea pig but told me it was a female, the male ended up getting my female pregnant. The store did absolutely NOTHING to fix their mistake, no money back & they would NOT take back the male Guinea pig. Unprofessional and lazy will never come here again.

I started coming to this store a few months ago and bought around 200 dollars worth of fish. The fish that I bought are very healthy. The people who work there are very knowledgeable and willing to answer all your questions. A few weeks ago as I was walking in, I. Oti ed he has a very large koi pond with 1 white goldfish in it. I talked to the owner and he said he would like more fish in it to have a display when people walked in. I told the owner I have to jumbo commetts that I'd give him for his display, figuring that the fish new home would be much larger then the 75 Gallon tank that both fish were in. Went 2 the store around 1:30 today to buy more fish, and checked up on the pond he has for the fish I gave him. Checks out 1 of the fish is in the pond and the jumbo fish was in a 25 gallon tank for sale. I asked the owner were the donated fish are he said in the pond. I said to the owner I believe that the fish your selling in the tank is the 1 of the 2 I gave you. He tells me no someone last week just dropped the fish off to me. LMFAO. NO LONGER SHOPPING AT THIS STORE.the 2 large gold color fish were donated.

I would have to say the best freshwater selection in the Jersey City/Bayonne area. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. It’s always reassuring to walk into a clean store with clean tanks and no dead fish. On top of that, the prices are more than reasonable and couldn’t get over the deals on the freshwater fish. A great variety as well.

Never had a problem. They always treated me like valued customer. Bought all my fish and equipment and tanks there. Now my wife goes there to pick out fish and they know what to sell her and what not to. I trust this place and the prices are more than reasonable. Ive been buying from them for years.

I went there yesterday with my 60 years old parents and drove 12 miles and bought a brand new tank, some accessories, filter and decorations. I also bought a filter and decorations for my grand mother’s tank. I also bought 6 gold fishes. I spent $180 on everything. On second day 4 of the 6 gold fishes died and when i called the store, he didn’t want to issue a refund for $30. That’s not the proper way to treat customers. You are not the only one selling aquarium fishes in New Jersey. Not Recommend at all.Update, you want me to leave work and waste more than an hour driving to come and beg you for $30!! While i already trusted you and paid $180 yesterday!!! You want me to keep the bodies of 4 dead fishes!! I already went to another store nearby and bought some healthy fishes for cheaper.

This review reflects the amount of fish I have remaining after buying 5 from the store 3 days ago. Once we got them home we had to immediately put them in hospital tanks because they were not swimming well and had cuts. Two of them died within 12 hours of getting them home and the other two have died even after trying to save them in a hospital tank. Not sure what happened but all of my other fish are fine only the ones I’ve gotten from this store have not survived. I now have one out of my five fish alive and hopefully they will survive.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful for setting up a new aquarium. They had all the things we needed right in the store and even checked over that the tank was free of cracks before selling it to us.

Came here for a 29 gallon aquarium stand that I couldn’t find anywhere else. I was surprised to see such a variety of beautiful fishes and supplies there. My daughter loved the little birdies they had as well. I called before I came, and the stand was already put together & ready for me. He even brought it out to the car for me. My experience was more than wonderful and I will definitely be going back :)

The best place in town. Was looking for rabbits for my daughter and came across them here. They were every well kept with lots of room, water and food. I was able to get all the rabbits needs plus walk out with healthy rabbits..i would highly recommend Land Of Fish for all pet needs.

My Fiance and I decided to make a last minute fish purchase on our way home...we decided to take a chance and venture out then our normal close spot. We will def be returning. The fish were colorful and a great selection! The young guy working was great and made our fish shopping enjoyable and easy. I am glad we went out of our area and supported a small local business. We will be coming back soon for more fish!Thank you!!!!

Just visited the shop last weekend and was very impressed. Store is super clean and organized. Staff very courteous and knowledgeable. Fish are super healthy and thriving in my freshwater tank. Plus, they have all supplies / food you can ever need. I plan to come back again when it’s time for new fish/supplies.

Very good place. It was my first time, my 6 year old daughter was asking me for a fish tank for a long time. A very friendly person help me and guide me on everything. He teach us how to take care the fishes. 100% recommend this place.

Note: if you see a savannah monitor or iguana they get really big and need a big enclosure so if you really want iguana or monitor I highly recommend a Aggie monitor or argentine tegu but tegu still are big anyway and need big enclosure but has a huge personality. Also big recommendation is do your before getting a reptile or any animal and last thing don't release your pet into the wild please they will damage the wildlife so that's the notes I will give you :)

I like to visit this place. Good variety of fish, filters etc... The section of plants is different story, the plants are covered with Black Beard Algae, the should use some tipe of liquid carbon or use CO2. I hope they take care of the plant section of the store as much as the fish. One thing that I like is that they have many different brands of fertilizer for the plants. I recommend the store and will visit back soon

Products I have picked up have been outstanding questions I have asked have always been answered but there is one man who works there that really throws off the whole experience. Being nice really goes a long way. I don’t know if he’s an owner because he’s really high up on that horse of his, he gives me sense of a person who thinks his actions need to be condoned because he’s old. I continue to come because the products quality surpasses this mans customer service skills but if I could come there and not see him I would have probably rated them a 5 star.

Excellent business ,the owner was the manager of petulant discounts on 440 before they went out of business. I worked at that location for 7 months before I moved on to another company. Nice stock of fish( only fresh water) & supplies to maintain your closed ecosystem.

Amazing place, never knew it existed. Rather go here than the big franchise stores. Helpful staff and wide variety of selections on everything. Staff is well equipped with knowledge and really down to earth demeanor. Check this store out first, for all of your aquarium/fish needs.

Very knowledgeable about fish. Pricing is high for tanks and bettas. They do have unique betta colors tho. I was happy overall with the service and available products. Ill definitely be visiting again for future purchases.

I know it's a fish store but own a baby bearded dragon and I get my crickets and worms and habitat accessories from here. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. You need something they get it. When I'm ready to start an aquarium I am going here.
