But walk into the back and there’s HEAVEN ON EARTH!! Figures up down left and right.Awesome Store!! GREAT EXPERIENCE!! And staff was AMAZING!! Josh helped me sort and price my purchases. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I can’t ship anywhere else now

Please don't go! Not the house of Fun!! The house of woke lol. The house of misery ! I walk in the store with my son and the snotty girl with the mask has the audacity to tell me what's up!! No Hello no smile. Covid or the mask she's wearing to cover her face must of traumatized her. None of the figures or toys had prices on them. I picked up a toy gently and placed it down. The guy working their was talking down on me to be careful. I am a collector and have expensive pieces and know how to conduct myself btw. Toy boxes were dusty and dingy. I asked for prices and he called his boss. Overly priced as well as one of the toys was a reissue not the original. So the price point was horrible. Thieves crooks beware! Unprofessional, it's a shame store has a lot of potential. The staff wants to work and give you the bare minimal. I asked for two toys , the response I get is what ever is on the shelf. The guy and girl working are complaining about the being their! Will never return. The masked girl who still thinks is 2020 need to get a job where she doesn't have to deal with the public because she's absolutely MISERABLE!!! I wanted to buy stuff but the stafff rubbed me so wrong! The staff their are LAZY zero work ethic. What ever happened to people who want to work?? I mean they could have been a lot more helpful! Both workers are miserable and are bothered when asking them to do their job!

Surprisingly big. There are ALOT of different types of toys from vintage to modern. The prices are reasonable. Tho big drawback for me is that all of the toys do not have a price on them. It .are it difficult to shop because I was trying to stay within a budget. Friendly and helpful workers.

Some of the best selection in the area, but unfortunately, the massive stock doesn’t allow for consistent visible pricing. Every time I’ve gone here (a dozen+ times), the item I want doesn’t have a price tag which results in an awkward back and forth between the buyer, the cashier, and the owner in the back. Simply put (and I like this place!) it’s unprofessional and unwelcoming.Visibly and honestly pricetag your stock. I understand it’s hard, but it seems like sales 101.

If the funko pop and spider man selection wasn’t vast I don’t think I would ever step foot in here again. Upon walking in I was greeted to an empty front area. And when I finally locked eyes with someone they walked in the opposite direction. When I finally made it to the funko wall there was an employee reorganizing so to be respectful I gave her space and just skimmed the shelves lightly. I used to work in a retail store and when you’re reorganizing and a customer is looking that’s the BEST time to say “do you need help?” But no I didn’t get that. She didn’t even really reply when I said hi how are you. The store is really cool but the staff leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. Hopefully I can find a better store with similar products soon.

Local place I drove by many of times, decided to pop in to have a look. Really fun place that looks tiny on the outside until you walk in, huge room stacked to the ceiling with nostalgic toys, comics, VHS, DVDs, trading cards. Staff is friendly and easy to chat with. I decided to pick up a tin of pokemon cards, the label on the product was not the price they charge, was a bit surprised but after chatting with the nice gentleman behind the desk, there is no way they could go through every single product in the store and remove/re-label everything, there is just too much stuff! So do not expect to get everything at the whatever old sticker price is on the item a lot but it doesn't hurt to try and haggle

This company's logo makes perfect sense because there's a lot of monkey business going on! Do yourself a favor and read all of the unbiased and honest reviews before you deal with this guy. Having cool stuff doesn't make "you" cool! Be wary of buying and mostly selling to him especially when he brags about his eighteen years as a dealer! I called him and he swooped in, looked at my collection briefly and made an offer of half of what I wanted then had the stones to come back and accuse me of misleading him and then hiding some of it! I have zero years in the business and even I know the term "buyer beware" and know what you are buying before you buy it! Unbelievable and unprofessional and a terrible business ethic! Do yourself a favor, sell it yourself on line, it may take longer but you'll feel a lot better and less violated! Lesson learned... avoid parasites!

Hands down one of the best you collectibles shop I’ve been to so far! I didn’t stay long enough, will definitely go back!

Really unprofessional environment. Stuff isn’t priced, so when you bring things to check out the worker excuses himself to check eBay and price the items, loudly complaining about the process in the back while you stand there waiting. And the prices they come up with are insane. Great selection, but you’re better off just browsing and going somewhere else for a reasonable price.

This place is amazing though, I wasn’t greeted at the door and I felt the employee was kinda rude, I was reminded a few times that the place is closing soon. Was even told something like “I only get paid for the hours the stores open” I wasn’t letting it ruin my vibe cause this place is so amazing! You’d Deff miss it driving by if you didn’t know about it. There’s so much to look at. I feel like you can’t see everything because you miss some things. You could probably be in here for hours. They have a nice little selection of movies & games but the entire store is full of figures!! In the package & loose. There was a mixture of high and low prices. Deff a cool place to check out if you’re a collector!!

Honestly is anything but a house of fun. Staff acts nice but than flips their attitude the second you make a mistake like opening a bag to check the item at hand. Apprenty it's a rule which aren't listed anywhere. Can't even negotiate prices owner is stubborn.They check prices based on ebay and what they're selling for not what they sold for. Such a shame because this is one of those stores that have great potential and yet fails to deliver on the customer service side.

I never thought I'd be leaving a review like this. I've been coming to the house of fun Since my sons were little boys. I remember when his store used to be in Oakland off the White Horse Pike. What started off as humble beginnings has turned into something much grander. But somewhere along the way he's lost himself clearly. My son and his friends were in your store today they found themselves an action figure a Batman for $25. Then after they bring it up to the counter you look it up on eBay and Mark it up to $90 right in front of their faces. Wow I mean in a store full of stuff finding something like that was hard work and then you took it from those young men and marked it up to $90 you should be ashamed of yourself on Christmas. Then you proceed the lie to all their faces about a Spider-Man comic that has a hologram on the front of it. Lmao everybody knows that's a gimmick and those Comics aren't worth anything and they were produced by the thousands. Fortunately for my son and his friends I sell comics and cards for a living online. My son's not foolish enough to listen to you and could see you coming from a mile away. As we can appreciate your hustle and we've been loyal patrons to your store our entire lives. We do not appreciate you just as much insulting all of us and our intelligence. I hope ruining your integrity was worth trying to hustle us with your rude and brash comments inside your store. We will take our business else where sir and to you I say auf Wiedersehen and that means "until we see each other again" since I never wish to meet you again.

Was a cool.place with a huge selection of memorabilia and even some retro game consoles, I picked up a Rogue model from xmen beautiful girls collection. Price was decent and the staff were helpful and friendly.

This place would be fun enough to look around at even if nothing was for sale. Super cool and rare items and if you like something enough you can pretty much bring anything home with you for in my opinion a pretty fair price and the staff are all super knowledgeable about their passions. They have neat stuff for anyone nerdy about anything and even if you're not in the market I would suggest to go just to look around and the vastness of it all. It's way bigger on the inside.

This place is legit. There were so many toys I had not seen since I was a kid, brought back so many memories. Many of these are still in it's original packaging. The price is not bad considering how rare these finds are. You can spend an entire hour browsing and barely scratch the surface. Anything from sports cards, hot wheels, rare comics, and action figures. Oh the action figures, we'll be returning to thoroughly go through the action figures.You won't find another store like this anywhere close to here.

If I could give this place no stars that would have been generous since I didn't even wanna give it this one! This place could have so much potential if they had items priced and had genuinely nice people. Workers are always miserable and ignorant. God forbid you ask them to do their job and to see how much something is because nothing is priced and it's like the end of their world while they hunt down the guy outside to give you a random obnoxious price. My husband and I wanted to spend so much but I refuse to give our money to such a scumbag establishment especially since we brought an item up to purchase it had a price sticker on it already one of the lucky few I guess and the douchebag at the front was like "oh that's not our sticker it's this one" he slapped on it with a higher price. 🤬 I would steer clear of this place at all costs!!!

The end all be all toy store for South Jersey. The new location is much more organized and they have expanded their stock considerably. They have toys from every range you can think of from the 60s up to today. A respectable selection of comics, sports cards and trading cards like Pokémon. They have a good selection of imports as well. They have bins you can sort through of Star Wars, Star Trek, GI Joe, Transformers, DC, & Marvel as well as a showcase of vintage lines and unopened. Prices seem to vary and not everything is marked so just ask if you have any questions. There's new stock every time I visit and I've never left here without buying something. I've gotten some really good deals here and found some obscure lines I forgot existed so if you're a collector or just want a walk down memory lane I highly suggest you stop here. Parking lot is available and it's easily accessible from the Pike.

I've been a loyal customer of the House of Fun for close to 20 years! I feel privilaged to have watched it grow out of it's original location in Oaklyn into the current location in Barrington, where it has blossomed into a full blown New Jersey destination! I cannot say enough positive things about the employees who work so hard and have so much passion for the world of collecting. Their knowledge is uncanny, and even if you come in looking for something obscure, you will be pleased to find that the staff will most likely know exactly what you are looking for. There is no nerd shaming here!! This is a safe environment for any and all, because the staff is just as much of a nerd about their collections as you are about yours, I guarantee it! Harley is especially knowledgeable about Manga, Anime, Pokemon, and gaming. Any time I have questions about Manga or Anime (not my strong suit) I know Harley will have to best recommendations and can explain all the stuff I don't understand. Josh knows more about comics, wrestling, MOTU, and gaming than I know about any one subject. It is unbelievable how much passion and love these 2 humans have for the collecting world. The owner, Chris takes so much pride in his business, and has such a love for collecting. He has the widest range of variety I've ever seen at a toy store. The volume of awesomeness is breathtaking! If you are looking for an overwhelming experience, whether it is for your own collection, or for your kids to enjoy, this place is like no other toy store you will ever encounter. Best toy store on the East Coast by far!! Please be understanding that not everything is priced. Anyone who is in the collecting world should understand that toys (especially collectables that are not "new") are in a market that is ever-changing, as things go up and down in value due to trends, popularity, and rarity. Please be kind and patient as they price items for you. Whether you collect cards, comics, toys, anime, statues, video games, horror, barbie, or funco pops....old, new, import, or domestic....this store has literally everything you can possibly imagine and more!

This little store is actually pretty big inside. The store front give it no justice. While walking through the huge collection of stuff, it was like a stroll down Memory Lane. Alot of toys, video games, and systems that I had as a kid. Awesome store, highly recommend at least stopping bye.
