The Rite Aid in Barrington, NJ is always clean and well-stocked. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The pharmacist is great and answers any questions put to him and the others in the pharmacy are also nice and helpful. All-around, a good place.

They sold my Autistic sister 3 Sephora gifts cards each containing 200 dollars and she paid for them with a credit card which I’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to do. I later find out she bought them in exchange for a pug puppy but obviously it was a scam. Yall rite aid employees should know what to look out for when someone is trying to buy multiple of the same Gift Card and putting 200 on each one. I’m absolutely going to see what I can do about this because those cards should never have been sold to her. She didn’t even tell us what she was doing until after the fact. She just lost 600 dollars because your employees didn’t recognize the signs of a scam. I used to work in retail and we knew the signs of a scam and often refused selling people gift cards because of this.

I’ve been going here for the last year and a half. Some pharmacies are a nightmare, but Kirk has made the process of picking my scripts up to be a breeze. He also helped me out in a cinch, when I had an allergic reaction to a medication and was unsure if it was a normal site reaction or not. It’s evident he cares about his customers and sometimes remembers my scripts/information (which never happens lol). The front staff tend to be helpful/nice too.I normally avoid chain pharmacies but I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here.

Overall I’m fine with the store, but the lunch break policy is RIDICULOUS.The ENTIRE pharmacy staff goes on break from 1:30-2:00- totally shutting the pharmacy down for 30 minutes.How about HALF the pharmacy staff goes on break then the other half can go. This way, you don’t need to shut down the pharmacy and inconvenience the customers.It’s not rocket science.

They are currently remodeling this location which is a big improvement as it was a confusing lay out. I find Rite Aid to be expensive but convient. This location is a large stand alone building with a drive-thru Pharmacy located in the back. Also located on a busy intersection but they have two entrances which help.

Dropped off a very specific worded script from my dr. n manufacture coupons. They said they needed to make calls I said no issue I can ick up sat. Now fri at 9am very busy. Sat when I came. Female pharmacists on phone complaining about not wanting to be on camera when she goes to n from. This lasted almost 30 min. They were to give me certain things.They messed up script. I got home i called immediately. Was told manager in on mon. Mon came n they were still busy. So talking to manager who was pharmacists was impossible. Then he was off. I went back today n he knew I was coming he didn't have anything ready. Plus he was manager n pharmacists n doing drive in n doing counter fillng scripts. Well no wonder myscript was mssed up. I moved my family to shop right. Other than Andria. Pharmacists was clueless. Rite aid pharmacy is dangerous to trust w scripts.

Hi,The worst Rite Aid in Southern New Jersey.Waited forever at pharmacy to pick up scripts.I was not acknowledged at all behind the counter.Stood there behind barrier like bump on a log.Finally walked out.Went through drive thru and acknowledgement there either pulled away and left store.0 out of 10

I’ve been meaning to post for years but was there last week and was reminded of the great customer service. I’ve been getting my prescriptions from here since about 2004. Kirk has been my pharmacist almost the whole time! He’s seen me go through every life struggle and stage, knows it’s me when I call and remembers every medication. Always so polite and professional. The other day in the drive thru he said “how did you manage to sneak out without the kids” we chatted for a bit and I learned how long of a commute he has. I’m so happy he continues to make that commute for us customers who truly appreciate the great job he does! Give him a raise!

The Head Pharmacist.. I believe his name is Kirk, at this location is great! Every one likes him. That goes a long way. I no longer go to CVS or Walgreens due to the horrible customer service and discrimination for your prescription. This Pharmacy Is A Plus because of him.

Good variety of merchandise. Often has discounted prices on items after a holiday. At present all Christmas items are 75 percent off in January. They usually discount leftover merchandise after whatever holiday is past.Pharmacist is helpful when asked questions. Vaccines are available for shingles, covid, pneumonia, and other items. Some require an appointment, call ahead to find out the criteria for whatever vaccine you need.Small grocery area for milk, bread, some other foods, small freezer area as well for entrees.Large parking lot as well as a drive through for dropping off and picking up prescriptions.Prompt service on prescriptions usually less than an hour if you want to wait for it in the store.

The staff always helps me find needed products asap, so I can get out of the store quickly and away from many customers who dont care about close contact, in spite of Covid risk of infection. I often have to use my shopping cart to block them from a proper safe distance. Children run around the store improperly supervised, I always shop here but since Covid I never feel safe. A new cashier accidentally charged me twice for an item. I feel like she doesn't need one more headache, so I'm not reporting it. They're here to help us, and deal with difficult people all day long. I saved over $100 today, Thank you Shop Rite.

One of the best Pharmacies I've been to in over the past 15 years I've been dealing with pharmacies. Not mention well informed & helpful staff on Monday afternoon or Wednesday at 2am. I have worked at very high levels in retail so here's some free advice. This should be a model store for all your Rite Aids. Excellence & more importantly a store that feels warm , welcoming and extremely helpful. That's almost impossible to recreate but you have or actually they have collectively joined together. Going above & beyond on numerous occasions from numerous staff seemed effortless because they always know there job plus. My name is Paul Simon ( not the famous one SMH ) this is truthful I don't know there names even but my Uncle lives directly across the street from said Rite Aid. My time at my Uncle's was hard personally for me , but it was made so much easier by many of the staff their. Ty

I usually talk to Kurt, and have a pleasant visit any time I go to pharmacy except for this one twenty something year old manager or assistant that works both pharmacy and store. She is very unpleasant and condisending towards people. She just told my grandfather " it's not our problem, call your doctor", and went and did whatever else she was doing. Leaving my grandfather still having questions about his medication.

This Rite-Aid is pretty strange. Some of the workers are normal and courteous, but there are a couple that are absolutely horrible. They are slow, rude, and make shopping there a teeth gritting nightmare. The older staff are mostly the culprits for that. The overnight staff is actually much better than the most of the people on the other shifts. The pharmacy is the only section that has consistently been professional and kind.

Maria is VERY UNWELCOMING. Saying "whaaaat" when a customer inquires on something is not good customer service etiquette. Everytime I'm in this location, the same girl gives me some type of issue. Not sure what it is but I can almost guess... but she should be retrained on what to and what not to say. Also, for her to count the money 3 times... some math training might help as well. She should be a little more pleasant to folks. It's not like WE'RE going anywhere 🤭

The drive from my house is worth it to me. The pharmacy has never mixed up my meds. This particular Rite Aid has done major renovations, the last 2 years. Still clean and friendly. Now larger.

Customer service at this store is excellent. I had dropped an item from my pocket underneath the counter at the register and all of the employees were super kind, and assisted me in retrieving it. Sam, Erica, Cailyn, and Heather went above and beyond to help me and i greatly appreciate them for it.

Pharmacy's great other then that it's gone down hill.. i worked at rite aid in the past & if anyone put a sale tag in the wrong place, we had honor the mistake. i walked back &forth through the whole store to make sure the date was right after the cashier told me it wasn't, the tag was connected to the price tag & the date was good for another 3 days. they did not check the tag w me(like we had to) or honor it. No matter if the date was wrong or wrong product under the tag, we still had to change the price. I'm not trying to get anything for free but that's ridiculous. this has happened b4 usually i just let it go but this was under dr's advice, so I'm very upset. I called rite aid head hq to make sure the policy has not changed & basically it was bc the people working there didn't want to do it? we've been loyal customers our whole lives!

I have been going to this store for about a year since i live right down the road. Almost every time i go in there, the cashiers have been rude to me. It's ethier they complain, have a sarcastic comment, or straight up text or talk to someone else while they are ringing you up. Its common sense to respect your customers. I will continue to go there only because it is so close to my house that I can walk there

Customer service at this location is virtually non-existent. Don't plan on returning anything you purchase, as they will make it virtually impossible for you to do so. Employees in the Pharmacy department are rude and obnoxious.
