This is probably one of the best hospitality experiences. The attention to detail in making the location as comfortable and welcoming is second to none. We used this trip to have beautiful water views and to get away. Sand Castles intimately understands the importance of curating a wonderful get away that is unique to each guest. They offer options for solitude as we as to be social, if needed. Most importantly, they make sure that every detail is accounted for in ensuring that the character of the rooms compliment the beauty and culture of the area. On top of that the place is clean, up to date, and very tasteful. Overall, we can tell that they genuinely care about you as a human being and we can tell that they take pride in their work and field.

A lovely two night getaway with my sister. Our room was perfect...clean, quiet, and with all the amenities we needed. We spent one morning at the beach which was a five minute drive and an afternoon at the glorious pool. The breakfasts served each morning were delicious. The first morning they were brought to our room and served on our patio overlooking the bay across the street. We ate in the adorable dining room upstairs overlooking the pool on the second day. Both Stacy and Audrey could not have been nicer. We had the best time, highly recommend and look forward to returning again!

The Sand Castle B & B has become our favorite place to get away. The innkeepers, Audrey and Brian, are pleasant and very accommodating. They pay attention to every detail and want their guests to be 100% satisfied (we always are). We’ve stayed several times and each time we are warmly greeted. The rooms are immaculate and fully appointed, the food is fantastic and they seem to attract friendly, considerate and polite guests. The sunset from the rooftop is always spectacular. Thank you Audrey, Brian and your amazing staff!

The Sand Castle is an absolute gem. Our room was thoroughly clean, fresh and comfortable. Tons of thoughtful and helpful amenities and extras that made our stay exceptional. The complementary bikes were super convenient for getting to and from the beach and around town. We did not use our car one single time during our four day stay. Breakfasts were very good and filling. The dining room was both lovely and comfortable. The pool area was immaculately clean and a nice break from the beach at times. We had a splendid time celebrating our 25th anniversary here and cannot compliment Audrey enough for the stellar hospitality. I am certain this is the best accommodation one can find on Long Beach Island, and probably most of the Jersey Shore!

Everything about this quick trip in April was perfect. The location is perfect for sunset watching from the rooftop deck or right across the street. The room was spectacularly clean and spacious with its own private entrance. The pool wasn’t open yet but it’s set up really nice and has a gas fire pit for the cooler weather. The breakfast was delicious and served with a warm and friendly smile by Audrey the owner. The amenities are plenty. Very close to beach and lighthouse. If you are looking for a touristy place you should keep looking.

I was very pleased with all aspects of our 4 day stay at the Sandcastle B&B on LBI. The host Audrey was phenomenal. The location was beautiful. Great views of the Lighthouse, wonderful pool area, upper deck was wonderful for sunning. The breakfasts were one of our morning highlights. Everything about the Sandcastle was an easy 5! All the rooms are very well appointed. We didn’t have to do for anything. It was all right there at our disposal. I look forward to more stays in the future!

The room was spotless and had more storage space than we could use. The bed was divinely comfortable. We loved being able to have a delicious breakfast in our room, wearing our Sandcastle bathrobes! The pool area is beautiful and pool itself was wonderful for relaxing. We also liked being able to walk to several nice restaurants for dinner.Most of all, we really enjoyed innkeeper Audrey’s warmth and hospitable attitude. It's clear that she enjoys what she’s doing, and that made our stay all the better.We hope to return next year!All best, Jane and SteveAlso--just as an FYI -- the handle for the shower is missing the top screw and is therefore kind of wobbly.

Our room and view of the bay was beautiful. The rooftop deck and pool are both great amenities. The pool has an umbrella in it for those of us who don’t love the sun. The breakfast was outstanding. The location is great. You can walk to a few restaurants and bars. We biked 16 miles before breakfast. Audrey was wonderful and let us store our bikes in her private garage. The nighttime dessert was a nice touch. It was our first time but we will be back.

Thank you so much for your great hospitality! Breakfast was top notch! Homemade scones, crumb cakes muffins were delicious along with great tasting eggs and waffles and French toast. We looked forward to the special tea time with delicious snacks! Our lighthouse suite room was clean beautiful with all amenities needed. Our daughter loved her second floor loft that she looked forward to seeing the lighthouse lit up at night.We had a great time. We plan to return in the near future ❤️

My wife and I have been talking about staying at the Sand Castle B&B since first noticing it in 2015. I booked a room for this past weekend and we just got home from our stay. The rooms and property are spotless. Breakfasts are delicious and quite large, with coffee and tea always available. We have never been to a nicer establishment, nor have we ever met nicer people! Audrey and Brian made us feel right at home from the time we checked in. Looking for a beautiful, super clean place on LBI? Book a stay @ Sand Castle, I know my wife n I will be going back. The place is a Perfect 10!

Just experienced a wonderful stay at the Sand Castle B&B on LBI. The new inn keepers Audrey and Brian were  engaging, accommodating and personally insured their guests needs were met. The Inn's team was also very pleasant, approachable and helpful. The accommodations were excellent and we looked forward to the amazing breakfasts each morning. The ocean beach was welcoming and nearby. When not at the beach we enjoyed using the Inn's bikes to explore the area and relaxed at the  heated pool which was always well maintained and inviting. We decided to attempt a quick getaway at the end of the season and found The Sand Castleon LBI had a room available. Its a beautiful house that Nancy and her staff keep ship shape, with even the wood floors looking spotless and freshly polished. Some of the rooms look out to the bay while others have a view of the charming pool area. The inside decorations in the lovely communal dining area are seasonal and very special.We found the breakfasts to be outstanding. I've never had such delicious baked goods and variety of special egg dishes; all of generous proportions. Whatever we needed, Nancy and her staff were only too happy to help us with.The weather outside wasn't great while we were there - grey, a little gloomy- but our stay at the Sandcastle managed to lift our spirits immensely. Can't wait to return!

We spent two evenings at the bed and breakfast. The building is immaculately clean, well slept, and landscaped beautifully. Our room was full of anything we’d need (rain umbrellas, cutlery, water vase, beach towels, etc). The room was spacious, had a beautiful floor to ceiling window shower, and lovely linens and robes. The highlight was the tranquility maintained throughout the space as it is well ordered and set in such a serene setting. The pool was fantastic and also superbly maintained. Breakfast service was delicious and a major step up from any other B&B I’ve ever been to in New England or Europe. We can’t wait to return!

This was our second time at the Sandcastle and it was amazing!!! The rooms are spectacular and very clean. The pool is gorgeous and the breakfast was truly magnificent. We mentioned to Nancy our favorite breakfast from out last stay and she was sure to add it to the menu. Nancy goes above and beyond to please her guests!!! We can’t wait to go back!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and we stayed two nights. We’re used to staying on the island at hotels, so this was completely different from what we’re used to. The innkeeper, Nancy, is so sweet and attentive. The breakfast was homemade and so yummy, we loved all of the choices. The room was very clean, and for the first time ever, up to my cleaning standards (I’m a tough critic & usually bring my own cleaning supplies before I stay somewhere). The whole property was beautiful and so homey. The sunset vista room has an amazing jacuzzi tub and the comfiest bed. 11/10 would recommend !

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Sand Castle for a weekend visit to LBI, and we had a terrific time. The room was clean and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The service was friendly. Breakfast was *chef's kiss* delicious. They even prepared special gluten free items for my girlfriend. During the day, we rented bikes and took a quick ride over to the lighthouse before heading back to spend time at the pool. An overall lovely experience!

We have stayed at the Sand Castle several times and it never disappoints. Nancy and her staff have their operation running like a well-oiled machine.The rooms are always clean and well appointed. They try and think of everything. For example, our closet had an umbrella just in case. The bathrooms have fixtures and tile that are a cut above. I always study to see how Nancy decorates her rooms and the common areas so as to pick up an idea or two.The breakfast and snacks are to die for. Freshly made scones, muffins, and coffee cake are offered along with fresh fruit and a choice of eggs “anyway”, and the entree of the day. Snacks are also available at tea time.There is a large refrigerator in the main hallway with an assortment of chilled soda and space for your own personal items. In addition, each room has a pitcher of fresh spring water and ice in the mini fridge.Finally, the pool area…a beautiful heated pool surrounded by the most beautiful flowers, bushes, trees and flower pots that make me smile each time. The grounds are relatively quiet except for a guest or two and we guests all take cues from each other with a good morning or hello and leave each other to lounge lazily or have a quiet read.I would be remiss if I didn’t recognize Nancy and her staff for very thoughtful and reasonable COVID protocols. The Sand Castle was the first place we thought of during 2020 where we could take a break and feel safe within the confines of the property.

We chose the SandCastle B&B after speaking to Nancy about her Covid-19 protocol and reading the wonderful reviews. We were not disappointed! Everything was exactly as described. Our room was spotless (and nicely appointed) and so were all the public areas. The B&B was warm and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious with two choices everyday accompanied by wonderful homemade baked goods( don't miss Nancy's scones!).Despite the Covid restrictions, the B&B and hosts, Nancy and Joe, were welcoming and responsive. You can definitely tell that they put a lot of love and effort into the B&B and that they care about their guests. We'll definitely return here if we come back to LBI.

This was our second stay at the Sand Castle B&B. It is at a great location near the lighthouse. Our room was lovely and very clean. We were impressed with the COVID precautions. Breakfast was delicious, especially the omelettes and baked goods! More than willing to make accommodations for special dietary requests. Nancy and the staff were very helpful and personable. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The Sand Castle B & B was terrific. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and Audrey showed us around and offered several ideas for us until our room was ready. We had access to the pool, bikes, beach chairs etc. we choose the beach chairs and went to closest beach access, only a couple blocks away.We were texted when the room was ready ( a couple hours before check-in time). The room was awesome. Updated bathroom, super comfy bed, fireplace and jacuzzi tub. We then spent a couple hours poolside. The area is quiet and has lots of seating options. We enjoyed the oversized noodle floats.For dinner we walked right next door to Kugels and enjoyed a really tasty meal. Day 2 we had a very enjoyable bfast served in the room. The meal was tasty, prompt and as described. We biked around the area, very fun due to the quiet nature of the area. The lighthouse is only a 2 minute ride from the B & B.Check in and check out are all done online making everything super fast and easy. We would definitely recommend staying and hopefully we’ll be back soon!

This hotel "Sand Castle Bed and Breakfast" will be one of my favorite vacation hotels! My husband and I spent a whole week in it! I can say with accuracy that it is comfortable, clean, with excellent service! His mistress is a very purposeful, hardworking and hospitable person! She was able to create the atmosphere of a home in her hotel! We ate the most delicious breakfasts that B&B hotels can offer: every day new, fresh, tasty, hearty! Every day there was fresh and varied pastries! There was a feeling as if we were visiting mom! We want to come back here! Recommend!

Every aspect of our stay was exceptional.The accommodations were comfortable, spotless and 5 star across the board.The breakfasts were gourmet.I would start my day with a bike ride and then move onto the beach.It was so convenient to have bikes,chairs and badges included in our stay.I spent hours every day relaxing in the well maintained pool.We enjoyed takeout seafood from local restraunts on the rooftop deck watching the sunset every evening.Nancy and her team are Amazing.I can't wait to return next year.
