At this Mom and Pop vibe restaurant, the staff and atmosphere will make you feel like you came for a warm meal at your favorite grandparents house and treat you as one of their own. the flavor on these dishes is unreal and everything is handcrafted from the owner who makes sure things are running smoothly every night in the kitchen. come stop by if you are looking for a 2lb crab meat stuffed lobster or, simply a warm cup of homemade soup! 10/10 :))

Stopped for lunch while on a road trip. Pleased with service, selection and taste. I had Fish & Chips, well prepared and great crispy fries. There was some uncertainty at first -- were they open for cooked takeout food at 12 noon? They were! We "took out" to pleasant outdoor tables.

Went again to the Navasink Fishery for dinner last night and hands down this is the “BEST”Seafood Restaurant I’ve EVER dine at in the United State! There are other restaurants in Italy and Greece that would give the owner a run for the money but undoubtedly he would also give them a run for theirs. The grouper franchise with crab meat is “OUTSTANDING.”Meal portions exceed price price per value!How does he do it??? BYOB so what else to say. Simple put I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!

Wish I could give 6 stars!Incredible ... incredible food. Reasonable price. Staff is extremely attentive and very friendly.The calamari couldn't be better. It was hands down the best I've ever had. Comes with 2 sauces, one of them is a Wasabi dipping sauce. I would put it on everything.Steamers were perfect! Oysters were ridiculously fresh. 🔥The linguine with white clam sauce was phenomenal. My wife had a shrimp pasta dish - that was fantastic as well.I cannot say enough about this restaurant to do it justice. Clean, well run, organized, amazing food, friendly staff.It's one of my favorites.

Simply amazing food for those of us that love seafood ! We went with a party of 6 and everything was great. It was a Wed eve and we sat just after 6. By 6:45 I think every table was taken. They could have used another waiter or waitress but everyone is running short. Failed to mention BYOB

Great food. We ordered the broiled combo and grilled salmon. The scallops were the best we ever tasted. I will definitely go there again! The meal size was excellent! I am so happy that they were open for take out during these difficult health times.

Our first time at Navesink Fishery was an amazing experience! The chowders were all prepared to perfection, our raw clams were so fresh and well prepared and served on ice. We highly recommend the stuffed (crabmeat) flounder which was generously portioned and made to order as are all of the menu items.Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is huge for a strip mall, spots to accommodate wheelchairs are directly in front of the restaurant.

Amazing dinner here at this place. I have been a commercial and party boat fisherman for almost 50 years, 4 generations of fishing captain's in our family, naturally I am very choosy when we dine out at a seafood restaurant. This by far is one of the freshest Seafood dinners my wife and I have had in a long time. My wife had the Halibut special and I had stuffed flounder. Everything was prepared to perfection. And the clams on the half shell we had for appetizer we're fresh caught. Definitely going to be back.

Would have given more stars if possible, has to be THE BEST SEAFOOD I have had the utmost pleasure of consuming. The portions, the quality of the food, everything...DELICIOUS!!! Already looking forward to going back next week. Thank you so much. Best part was that Keyport Fishery would not take my order because I forgot my phone at home!! HUGE MISTAKE. Now I have the pleasure of knowing I found a place that’s we’ll worth a half hour drive for such a higher quality and appreciation of the way you treat your customers...like family. Thanks again 👍👍👍

We have eaten here many times and we know what to expect. The food is good, fairly priced, service is spread thin, but usually satisfactory and the place is noisy. Recently we ordered our appetizer and entries at the same time. Imagine our surprise when they brought them all to our table together. We explained to the waitress that we wanted time to enjoy our appetizer and please bring the rest of the food later. Less than 5 minutes later, they returned with our dinners, one of which was so cold as to be barely edible. We complained again to no avail. There was no offer of free dessert (which we would have refused) and no offer to adjust the bill.Also they have a very bad habit of swooping down to remove empty dishes while the other person is still eating (which we do not permit).Overall a quite bad experience.

Apps were good. Fried seafood platter was not worth the price. Fish tasted like fish sticks. Shrimp was salty. Scallops were just gross. Got a refund and never go back.

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I didn't find the food as fabulous as all of the 5-star ratings. I would like to give it another try though because I ordered the soft shell crabs and in all fairness, it's at the end of the soft shell season. What I wasn't fond of was the baked yam which was burnt on the outside and a little bit on the inside, too. The green beans were on the cold side so overall it's not the best meal I've had. However, I love the atmosphere here and the menu choice is extensive. Reasonably priced and it's a BYO.

This was THE best seafood experience I have had in years! The oyster stew was unique and amazing. The fried oysters with wasabi sauce was delectable and the pan seared scallops floored me. And.... the staff was great and price extremely reasonable.If you are passionate about seafood you will love this place!!!
