Outside of the supermarket does not look clean. The parking lot had dirty boxes on the floor and and there was sticky cream on them. The store itself was clean which I liked. However, the prices were very high considering the neighborhood it's located in. Some of the items I was looking for were not available or too overpriced.

It is my first time here. I have worked retail in my past. I have to say that this supermarket was spotless. The end caps were full. The entire store had every aisle faced. Us retail workers know what that means. The crew was helpful. I went up and down every aisle. The whole store was clean, organized and well stocked. This store looked better than Shop Rite. I spoke to the manager just to let him know. I will be back. Highly recommended

I don’t understand the low rating. It was the cleanest, most well organized and well stocked store for its size I have ever been to in my life . Period. And I’m 68 years old.

Wonderful transformation from the previous market. The store is organized, clean and cheerful. I'm so happy to have a supermarket right in town so that I dont have to go out to Hwy 35. Ps they have Boars Head cold cuts now.

This place is alright to shop if your on a budget, top ramen style. Would of gave it 5 stars but i dont like the beggars, and drug activity around me nor my daughter when i'm out food shopping. Its sad that children have to see ignorance at its finest, when thry want to eat food. Shame on you. But other than that the food dhopping is good.

They have a wide variety of products from different countries which is nice to find but when you buy the sandwiches and fruits be careful a lot of times I've bought it has been spoiled and out of date and the lady manager tells me to check the expiration date when they should be responsible in making sure to keep fresh unexpired food on the shelves

I am so glad that Super Extra market is under new management. The store was very clean and for the first time it didn't stink as if I was in a slaughter house. I give it 4stars.

The place smells like bad meat left out. Need to shutdown meat and seafood and get it properly cleaned. I will not ever buy meat from there ever again. When I brought back sam day was told not to due it again. That was how they correct there mistake. Tried to make me feel bad for selling a bad product.

This place is terrible 😔 not only they sale everything over price most of they snack their stuff in the store are expired. They have stuff that have been expired since August 11 we are November now. I went to the store and tried to talk to the front end lady she acted very carelessly she new they were expired.it’s like they never care to change them or throw them away. They health department never goes to that store they are killing people with their expired Merchandise.

They do have a wide variety of choices of what you can buy, but my biggest problem is the costumer service. Called waited and they did not pick up nor call back. Please fix this issue.

Make sure you check expiration dates. I checked several dates and ALL but 1 were OVER A WEEK EXPIRED!! Other than the produce, it’s over priced.

The produce and herbs are always old and wilted ! They will still sell old rotten produce . Beware. If the produce isn’t fresh , imagine everything else like the meat and fish you’re eating !!

Today is the third time I went to this supermarket in Asbury Park. Ive gone to the meat department and aside from the horrible customer service, the chicken looks old and slimy. The produce department looks to be in bad shape. Being a business owner myself, I try to shop locally to support the community and provide the freshest food for my customers; this supermarket does not allow me to do so and in fact cripples me from accomplishing said service. I tried speaking to the manager about this and his response was to basically push me out of the supermarket while saying that everything was fresh, when it clearly is not. I am completely unsatisfied and rather disgusted with this store; I highly recommend a surprise inspection and investigation here.

This place is terrible! From really rude staff that will slam boxes down right in your way, pick their nose in front of you, and will whizz right by you (or through you, your choice) to products that are wrinkled, damaged and/or dirty looking. I bought chicken strips there that came frozen and I open the bag and a HUNK of ice falls out and all the breading has fallen off the strips. This only happens if food has been left to thaw out and then refrozen cause screw food safety, amiright?I sucked it up for a while now but today was the final straw for me and I won’t be returning. There are flies everywhere and even they have reached a level of apathy to inspire my awe. They don’t even bother to fly away when you come near them. They just sit there...maybe even wishing for the sweet release of death that will free them from that hell hole.The hostility and negative energy just throws me through a loop. The check out lady was the only nice thing about my trip there...not only cause it signaled my exit from the place but because she was the only person there that seemed to get customer service.

Love this place, it's like a dream to find Hispanic products/produce from all over Central & South America! Clean store that's always stocked. The people that hang out outside or at the checkout crack me up with what they actually say. The store reminds me alot of New York and has that vibe that reminds me of it growing up in the city.
