A gem of a place! Dave was so friendly and knowledge and made the bike buying process fun and convenient. He went out of his way to look further into a bike my son wanted even though he was pretty sure he already knew the answer to my question. Cannot recommend them enough. Will be back!

I can't say enough GREAT things about Asbury Park Cyclery....and especially Dave Katz!! They were soo accommodating and professional. And, they were more than happy to help me exchange a Trek Verve bike I had been given thru work for a Townie 9D that I REALLY wanted. The exchange was seamless and very FAIR!! Once I walked thru those doors, Dave and staff made me feel like family. Dave was patient and truly knowledgeable about my needs...and helped me in every phase of my experience. I LOVE my Townie 9D and I'd never be riding it today without the assist and flexibility of Dave and team. They have a fan and a customer for life.

Awesome shop and great staff. Went in looking for a Roscoe 7 and it just didn't seem like my jam. Everyone was super helpful and provided a lot of input and opinions to help me make a decision after test riding a few bikes. They ended up setting me up with a Trek Fuel EX 8 I'm absolutely stoked about! These guys are awesome. I also want to point out I drove an hour to get here just because it was one of the few shops that actually had models I wanted to explore and test out. I'll definitely be back. Kudos 🤙

Absolutely loved the help the guys gave me in the shop. Bought a brand new gorgeous bike on sale, with cup holder and bell, obsessed with it. They were so helpful and accommodating, they even let me test ride the bikes to make sure I was making the right choice. Not to mention, they had the best prices around. I would definitely suggest going here for any of your bike needs! (They are also super helpful if you even just need your tire inflated)

Dave was great, was able to provide the right amount of technical knowledge vs. practical information for my teenage boy to understand and since it was his bike, he really did focus his attention on him. they were able to build the bike in a couple of hours and we picked up same day. overall: great experience, fun place to visit as the inventory is amazing and great customer service.

We were so happy to wind up at your store after visiting another local bike shop who were not very helpful or accommodating. Charles was so knowledgeable and helpful in purchasing my new bike. He allowed me to test drive each numerous times to make sure I was selecting the right bike for me. Such nice folks here! I blew out a tire, literally blew out the sidewall. Bought a tire and a tube and changed it out myself. They were super nice and let me use their hand pump to do it myself. Very nice store with decent inventory including my favorite SE Bikes! Owner is an old school BMX rider like me and had fun reminiscing while I changed out my tire. Nice to see local owned business doing great in these days of big box everything!
