The manager literally accosted me while shopping. I had just got home from visiting my parents in another state and was sick so like any responsible person, I didn't want to get anyone else sick, so I wore a mask and surgical gloves. I was shopping and added a few things to my car when I came into an isle that was loaded with new cameras of all different shapes and sizes. Naturally being curious about the new installations I took some pictures of the new cameras to show my friend and ask him his technical opinion on them and their capabilities. As I continued to shop I felt someone come up from behind me and grab the cart out of my hands. I was shoved twords the door and screamed at to "GET OUT NOW!" without either of the two incredibly large gentlemen(one who looked exactly like uncle Lester from the Adam's Family) trying to identify me, talk to me, ask me what I'm doing, instead they just escalated the situation until it almost became violent until I reminded him of my rights to take pictures in public, to keep his hands to himself and stop acting like an animal and to calm down. He looked like he wanted to physically harm me over taking pictures. I made a complaint to corporate not to seek litigation but to make sure this doesn't happen to someone else. We are people, not animals. There is no place in civil society for that type of behavior. Even after all that I repeatedly asked for police to be called and he refused multiple times. I wanted a report of the incident or a trespassing citation but he wouldn't. He knew he was in the wrong so I had to call the police and make a report of the incident. I'm currently in talks with lawyers now.P.s.( 12/9/23 )after shopping for the first time after this incident I found out the same manager deleted my club card or whatever it is there they ask you to register for after having no issues for years. This was a retaliatory attack which just goes to prove my point hes more like an animal reverting back to primal instincts of trying to hurt the other person as much as possible whether it be physically or mentally. These are not the traits of leadership or a manager position at all.

Ordered ShopRite from home, They forgot some of my order at the store , fine, then they called me to ask what I want them to do?? I want my stuff right? What’s to talk about …. Then I return the phone call and the store asked if I want to pay to have it brought out to my house?? I already did pay? Why would I pay twice?!?I don’t care if they don’t have in house drivers , that’s a decision they made because they (shop rite ) does not want to pay someone to be a driver… fine…if you don’t want to pay an employee to provide your service DONT OFFER THE SERVICE.However the audacity to ask me to pay for a second delivery fee because they screwed up? Is crazy..it’s okay I’ll just feed my baby something else …Not to mention I’m ordering delivery because my wife is home with the baby and I’m working an hour away … bad enough they always screw up the order, or tell me they don’t have an item( then I go right to the store and see they do have the item ) or give the wrong item all together …But to try and scam me into paying twice is insured0 stars should be an option last time we use shop rite from home .

This store although convient for me. often does not have sale items due to lack of self shelf space. Self cash out recently lowered to 20 items. When I attempted to tell management I was unhappy with this the manager had a OH WELL attitide. Went to cashier who rang items incorrectly. (ie. Cosmic apples as crab apple @ almost $4.) Recommend going to another ShopRite. Salmon purchased had parasites when skinned.

Imagine taking a ticket at the deli counter, waiting 9 mins while watching 5 employees chatting amongst themselves. They tell you we’ll be right with you. An associate walks over with a pen and pad to take ur order as if it was a restaurant and they tell you to pick it up later at the refrigerator. You continue to shop while constantly trying to remind yourself you now have to go back to the deli counter to pick up ur order. You continue to shop pay for your items and leave the store without your deli meats.What a frustrating and ridiculous system You have your employees chatting it up while customers are watching them like a deer in headlights not knowing how their store process works. No one to provide instruction. And now I’m disappointed that I don’t have my deli meats. Read the room guys that’s not how delis work. Your system is trash. No one wants to walk back into the store to get an item. First time there. Last time too.

I've been using this Galloway ShopRite for about seven to eight years now. It's a bit smaller than the average ShopRite, but they do special orders which is nice. As they don't carry everything due to the size of the store. I still have a deli Bakery produce butcher and frozen section. So you don't miss out on much just more closer together. This ShopRite I noticed overtime is a little bit more difficult when using coupons. The one on the White Horse Pike are much easier to deal with when using coupons. Parking can be a bit tight at times.

My favorite shop rite! The produce is ALWYS FRESH AND KEPT IMMACULATELY CLEAN. The seafood section is also very clean and kept immaculately clean. The lady who works at the seafood section is so sweet. She’s always pleasant and welcoming. The cashiers are also very friendly and kind and are super helpful when you need them. We buy all our seafood from here and the need to items that we can’t get at Costco. I definitely recommend using this shop rite.

Asking for formula to be unlocked for my baby seems like a huge inconvenience for staff. Takes them over 5 minutes to come to the isle mean while they are literally just standing in a group talking.

It is a good shop with groceries and all else that is reasonably priced. They have a very good selection of all sorts of items and some of their bowl and breakfast items are very reasonably priced and come very close to brand named food items. They even has seasonal fruits items such as Watermelon, Corn etc. at a reasonable price when in season. They carry good quality very reasonably priced bird feed and their bakery selection is as well reasonably priced with breads etc. of decently good quality.

Your employees that work at self checkout are extremely rude and need some manors. My elderly father was in there and asked for help with something and was told very rudely he had to wait. Meanwhile there was about 4 or 5 employees just standing around talking amongst each other. He literally waited 13 minutes before he received help. Very disappointing.

We have been shopping here since we moved to Four Seasons 3 yrs ago. The employees have always been polite and helpful. A special shout out to Bobbie in the deli who is not only polite but has a great knowledge of the product line.Keep up the great work everyone!!!

I love this store. An incredible staff, you feel the love, and a clean well stocked store with great sales and fresh food. A super deli and hot food section. The pharmacy is the best pharmacy in the county. A wonderful pharmacy staff knowledgeable and always patient & friendly. This is my local Shoprite and I am so glad

Only 2 cashiers for checkout I normally do self checkout for a few things. The machines get hing up at every scan w "unexpected item in bagging area" then you have to wait for employee to clear so you can continue. There should be discount given for self checkout as store is saving money w less cashiers.

This is the best grocery store in the area. Clean, fully stocked, good vibe. I lovethe fact that more organic and gourmet items are available than other stores around here. They do offer many interesting options for the space available. Produce section is always on point. Gourmet cheese section needs help. Display and organization is off which makes it less appealing. Plenty of higher end meats and poultry. Only negative is parking can be a challenge but that has nothing to do with the food. I still recommend this store for a pleasant shopping experience.

We've been shopping at this location for many, many years as it is the closest ShopRite to where we live. Unfortunately, it has let us down over and over again. Food quality and freshness is lacking. Several times every year, we encounter moldy bread, spoiled milk, spoiled meat products, moldy vegetables/fruits etc. Recently, it seems to have gotten worse. My husband went shopping on Wednesday (July 3rd) for the weekend. On Thursday, we opened a new package of buns for sandwiches. Sell by date July 7th. I started cutting them apart and discovered they were moldy on the bottom. Moldy days before the sell by date. Today is July 6th. I started working on homemade chicken noodle soup. I open the package of chicken and put it in the broth. When I take it out to shred it, I smell it. It smells completely rancid. I notice the package has TWO sell by dates. One is July 7th, and one is July 12th (why?!). It doesn't matter, it all goes in the trash as I will not risk feeding bad meat to my family. My husband has returned milk in the past to customer service because it was past its expiration date when he purchased it. ShopRite put a "do not sell" sticker on it, and said they would pull other expired milk from the cooler. The next time he went to the store, he saw the milk with the sticker on it BACK IN THE COOLER. I feel like the protocol for handling perishable goods is not being followed. Too many items are spoiled when sold. I don't even want to know how much money we've thrown away. The store may be fine for packaged goods, but if you have the option, buy your fresh perishables elsewhere. I will be trying to fulfill our perishable needs anywhere else when possible.

So we shop at this ShopRite weekly and never had any issue with produce or with the products we buy. The one I did have recently was pretty scammy of ShopRite. Their fresh fish area worker was taking bags of shrimp that were on sale for $11.98 for 2 lbs and was filling up the "fresh shrimp" behind the glass which was posted at $9.99/lb. I had gone there to get shrimp and scallops (I stoll got scallops) but felt really ripped off because we bought shrimp from there in the past. Not sure if this os common practice at all ShopRites or the manager here allows it but its not fair to the people spending extra thinking they are getting a better product.

From out of town and I was craving some olive loaf. My numbskull son had to drive all night because I cant since I have astigmatism in my left eye!! HE wanted a monster energy beverage even though I keep telling the kid he'll end up with diabetes like his (dead)beat father drnking those everyday HAHA! We got both at this location so you'd think I'd be happy but no, not really. Who knew that it could be so much trouble to get a plastic bag? Can't wait to get out of NJ lol!

Deli staff are extremely rude. Placed an order through “order express” because that’s the only way they would take an order and said it would take 1/2 hour to get 2 pounds of deli meat and a pound of coleslaw. I came back about 15 minutes later the order wasn’t ready yet. Checked the cold box they put the orders in that everyone and their mother touches and it wasn’t there. As I waited I watched the 3 deli employees work. The deli guy took over 10 minutes to slice a pound of cheese and he touched every single piece. One woman was working on my order and I watched her slice the one meat and then walk over to a cold box that the customers could pull items from for the coleslaw then put it in the cold box for pick up. I went to the case to pull out the order that was mine and one of the meats was missing. At the same time I heard the employees talking about me negatively. I asked about the missing meat and was rudely told that they hadn’t had that meat for 3 weeks. When I asked why I was allowed to order it on the “order express” machine she said it should have been grayed out and I said that it wasn’t and that they should fix it because she just wasted my time. They continued to talk about me as I walked away. Will not EVER be shopping at this ShopRite again. This is not the first time I have received poor service from this ShopRite. I’ve used the shop at home service where they have given me rotten meat and vegetables. And when I called about it I got a rude response. Or the time that I did a shop at home order and $60 of meat was missing from it. Not bothering with this store ever again.

Although several items that I needed were not available, the employees were amazingly pleasant and helpful. The lady at the courtesy counter was very nice and extremely helpful. The cashier was happy and efficient. She couldn't have been nicer but it was Mark at the deli who was most impressive. He actually made my whole day. He must really enjoy his work and it shows. He should be employee of the month because he represents all that Shoprite is about. Thank you for an all around great experience.

8/12/22 - Bought some sockeye salmon at 19.99lb and asked the counter to remove the bones. Counter man says, "there are no bones, its a fillet"...and with a nasty attitude to boot (older gentleman). Of course, as it turns out there are bones everywhere in the "fillet" just as we thought.No big deal, but please lose the attitude toward paying customers.

I ordered lunch meat on the express. Someone took it. I went to the deli counter and told the two women who were working what happened. They could not have been nicer. They were cleaning up to close, but they still did my order for me. Very nice women with very kind personalities. Thank you again!!

Great checkout experience. Linda the cashier and her helper (I don't remember her name, but she was young) were both absolutely helpful 😊There was this one employee who kept asking if I needed anything and each time he asked he got a little more assertive. Made me feel a little weird.

Extremely crowded, long wait times to check out. People driving and not paying attention. Chaos!One year later... Left Absecon to shop here. Despite the chaos with the parking, I've learned to NEVER shop at night!Daytime is a pleasure! I left Absecon shoprite due to the selfish arrogant shoppers. A stabbing there, security guards and police stand watch now. I feel much safer in galloway shopping!

Store has all the basic products you expect. It's clean and most of the staff is helpful. There are 2 good women deli workers who are very pleasant. They never have enough cashiers on (they expanded the self checkout area, now I don't know about you but I see that as taking a job away from a person). There is this one cashier who I have dealt with on several occasions who is very unpleasant. Stay away from her (older female, long gray hair, wears glasses). If you plan on shopping there bring your compact car as the parking spots are designed for small cars.
