The staff are rude and unhelpful. They’ll all be hiding so they don’t have to check customers out. We have in the past had to wait forever any time there is an age restricted item. But today I was appalled that the staff are gross towards their customers making fun of us in front of us and treating us like a cheap laugh. The manager Jeff was leading this mockery and setting a terrible example for his team by discriminating against us and verbaitim referring to myself and my roommates as a “throuple” and misgendering me while picking up my testosterone. We’ll be going to the family dollar down the street now which I recommend highly as the staff there are always kind, courteous, and professional.

The new store is the nicest DG that I have been to. Clean, bright, and well organized. Products are easy to find and the manager is very helpful. It's great that they have a small produce section if you are in a hurry. Great prices on toiletries. When busy parking can be an issue.

Masks are a personal preference for our family and being informed when my daughter and I walked through the door by a worker that we were being stupid and being completely ridiculous really upset me. I've lost both my parents within 14 months and yes we will wear a mask until we are comfortable. What I wear on my face should not offend you. Seriously anyone walking into that store should wear one simply because of the overwhelming smell of marijuana.

Best Dollar General I have seen. It had fruit available there and a lot of supply. Employees were kind and store was very nice.

Jeff is the store manager.He does an amazing job keeping the small store neat and stocked. He went out of his way to pull an item from the back inventory that was not even out for summer stock yet to accommodate me with my pregnant dog. We needed a kiddie pool, Jeff called me at home to let me know he had the pool ready for me at the front register. Amazing customer service!!!!!And Joanne a store associate is always very pleasant and very helpful. I enjoy shopping just to have a short conversation with her!!!!!There are many dollar generals popping up everywhere but we will continue to go to our Home town Smithville location Because of the staff.Keep up the good work we appreciate it!!!😁

Been using this Dollar General for a little over six to seven years now. I know the manager Jeff very well and the staff is easy to get along with. You could wait in the line from time to time as there's usually only one register open as it is a very small store. Lane Isles are closer together than your average Dollar General, and they do have Digital Coupons you can take advantage of on Saturdays. Dollar General just about has everything that you would need for the quick pick up I recommend everybody.

I'm so sorry....half the time I bring my kids in here just to look around when we are truly bored. No one ever minds....even this last time when before we actually made our purchase my two year old ran up and down the aisles in Glee. Granted it was cute but really....they are so down to earth here. The bathroom should be condemned though....never went in a dollar store with a nice bathroom yet. Or CVS.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is clean. No matter what is going on, the staff is always willing to drop what they're doing to assist me. If there is a question about something they don't know, they find someone who does and figure it out quickly. It is my favorite store!

I guess opening both registers is impossible? Every single time I come in here for the last two years, one register is open with lines heading into the back of the store. Manager still sitting in his office without fail. The last manager they had (Dave?) never let lines get this long. Ridiculous. Good thing there’s a family dollar around the corner. I’d rather go there than stand in line for 15 minutes because no one wants to open up a second register. What a joke.

The staff are super helpful and friendly. They do everything in their power to accommodate us. Also, they let us know ahead of time when huge sales are coming so I know when to wait to buy something. This is my favorite store.

It's a little difficult to shop at this Dollar general in Smithville Square. The aisles are crowded with stock that needs to be placed on shelves which leaves the aisles blocked and a hazard. You can't comfortably browse due to all the blocked aisles. The other issue that just was a little uncomfortable was listening to the employees openly talk about other employees and complaining about their jobs.I would go to another Dollar general before I could go to this one again.

This store is always a mess....carts of boxes are always in the aisles making it hard to shop....any of these stores I have been in are all the same.....As of 4/18/2020 this store is still a mess there were so many carts in the aisles you could not even really shop......if these stores,are closing early ehy cant they put the stock away and move the carts.....yes the workers are very nice but that does not excuse the mess in the store

The line in Egg Harbor Township is better than the one in Smithville always organized the Isles are always clear and product is where I can find it not as Smithville it's always in chaos

Dollar General in the past few years has revitalized itself and has awesome brand-name and generic products. Right on the Pike, next to a Wawa, really easy to get to.

Store has so much stuff in the isles its a accident waiting to happen. You cant even see what you want isles are always crowed with stuff to be put out they should do that at night .

Very little staff, aisles are always filled with rolling carts that are packed with boxes and inventory, not very comparable to other Dollar generals (snow hill, MD)that I used to shop at.
