This Acme location is great in Allendale NJ .The store is the ideal size, and everything is well arranged inside. You can shop more easily because the store isn't as busy.wonderful food store Freshness of fruits and veggies is exceptional.The store's booze section has a separate check out.Although not particularly pricey, not every item is necessarily affordable.The large parking lot is shared with other businesses.

I was working 10 minutes away from this area. I drove here to save time and stopped in for ONE item but left with 2 bags. Terrific sales on items I use. Red tags on a few brands of plant based milks, grabbed those as well. If I had more time, I would of walked the entire store. They had everything, shelves filled, clean store and pleasant people. If I'm able, I'll pop in again to see what I missed. This was a smart, quick decision I made. Put the app on your phone and see how much more you'll save. 😁💰🥗

Stopped in for some specific items but only found 3 out of the 4 ing i needed. Went to check out at the self checkout lane. Couldn’t find cilantro on the list, asked the worker around the corner, who was involved in a conversation with another worker. He apparently did not like the interruption & pretty grudgingly made the correction. Not even a grunt when i said thank you

Hours are wrong on both Apple Maps and Google. On Google, it even states it was confirmed 12 weeks ago that they're open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., which is false. Allendale ACME needs to ensure they're updating their hours on the navigation apps and not just with their automated answering system

Store hours posted outside that say they close at 11pm Monday-Friday. I got there at 10:30pm, and the doors were locked. I then called the store and pressed the number to find out store hours, and they said they close at 10pm. Did anyone think to update the sign outside the store? Google also has the hours listed as 7am-11pm. I go to this ACME often and usually have a good experience, but this really annoyed me. Someone should update the signs if they changed their hours.

Typical Acme....just what you would expect. Clean and updated. Has a Starbucks inside as well. Does t have EVERYTHING.....some small cooking ingredients I have not been able to get there, but for 99.9% of what you need from a grocery store it's fine. Location convenient and close to a number of stores and restaurants. Located right at the edge of downtown Allendale so walking distance to the entire town center

What a great store! The store was warm and inviting. It was updated, bright, clean and well organized. We stopped in to grab some take away meals and they had fresh, made- ahead Boars Head deli meat sandwiches which were great to grab and go and were delicious. We also stopped by the Starbucks counter located right in the front of the store and grabbed an iced coffee to go. The batista was so friendly and efficient. Will be going back here again.

Parking is easy. Store is a good size and has plenty of items. They've changed the store a bit and have added a large wine and liquor section; very nice.No changes as of my most recent visit.

The prices at the Allendale store so ridiculously high that they are the only store in the area with prices that are suckering you in. They're making all their money on their meats and something like prepare chicken is $2 higher then everybody else and they're telling you you're getting a bargain. The reason I'm writing aside from that is I bought movie theater butter popcorn. This is poison. It's their brand and there is so much salt in this that there is more salt than this than any other brand on the market. I don't even know how you could get this through down your throat. I would truly go to anywhere different than this place

This is by far the Worst grocery store in the area! They are always out of things. Or they simply don’t carry it. Never cashiers working and their self check out is a nightmare.

love the fact that there is a Starbucks here. for me, this store is hard to navigate. I haven't used it as my every week store but the times I have visit I find it hard ot find the things I look for. Personally to me the deli/ remade salad selection leaves little to be desired. I used to work in the area and go here to grab something for lunch and would have a hard time to find something.

All other food except produce is good. I often find myself unable to find produce that I could find at other stores, or the produce is already far past its prime. Non perishables are great though and the price is relatively on par with other grocery stores in the area

Fruit and veg aisle is not particularly good. However the meat, bakery and dairy isn't bad at all. The deli only sells Boars Head meat and is way too expensive.

Clean, nice store. Only drawback is no gluten-free pretzels in pretzel/snack aisle. Self checkout was great had a few glitches and the customer service was excellent in helping us.

My 64th birthday was the 28th of September, My Daughter went to buy me a Carvel Ice Cream cake & My Daughter saw this beautiful cake in your bakery department. My daughter knows how I love mermaids. She found this magical cake decorated with mermaid's birthday cake!!Gorgeous cake & delicious too!! Thanx Acme for making My Birthday like a mermaid's party!! XXXXXOOOOO

The produce area is not great, the prices are kind of high and about 50% of the staff are extremely rude. They have a decent liquor section but it is also overpriced, it’s my last resort store for sure.

The produce section in the store is abysmal. I bought a pack of mushrooms, brought it home and there was mold in the container. I went back to find different ones and I could see so many of them had mold in them that I couldn’t buy any of them. The same thing happened with the berries too, either old and brown, or packages with mold in them. I won’t even get started on the improper storage of certain items that led to the food poisoning I’m currently experiencing after buying sausage crumbles. I used to go here out of convo i me because it’s a smaller store. I also never leave reviews for anything, but this is just ridiculous.

Never very busy and easy to park. Selection of goods is not extensive like the bigger Acme in Mahwah but it's a good place if you want to pick up in a hurry basics like milk, bread, fruit and veg.

Good selection of fresh products, although sometimes a bit pricey. I usually try to buy items that have a special price. The grocery, meat, fish and bakery sections are in line with the other stores in the area, but the space here is well organized, clean and the location is much more comfortable for those living in Allendale, as you don't have to drive on the busy Rt.17 where all the other stores are located.

Great staff, good selection and price within walking distance from my house, not to mention it's a plastic bag collection point. The Allendale ACME is my favorite supermarket.

I had a great experience at this Acme. I ordered sandwich platters from the deli and the manager Ed was extremely helpful and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure that we got what we needed. It’s rare to see that amount of customer appreciation. I would definitely recommend catering from this Acme. Thanks again, Ed ;)

This isn’t the worst store in an emergency but the prices are very high. My suggestion would be to get a circular and only buy what’s on sale, otherwise avoid. The Starbucks in this store employs the rudest, my unprofessional staff. I don’t know they work for Acme or Starbucks but they are super rude and over charge customers then don’t give receipts. The milk station is always filthy.

Pretty much your average grocery store.It has Starbucks inside, an organic/health food section, kitchen, bakery and small pharmacy. It's almost identical to the A&P that used to be here, except for the lack of self checkout aisles. Not exactly sure why they got rid of them, but many times I've had to wait a few minutes for just a couple items.

It's a good, clean grocery store, with the great selection to choose from. Fruits and vegetables are fresh, great deli, salad bar, love the meat selection. But this place is pricey. Some items you can find in other nearby stores like twice cheap. I don't go there if I need more than 2-3 items

I like the hot food bar, they have pizza, grilled and fried chicken pieces , the salad bar and one of the best olive bars I've tried. They also have great selection of cold cuts and home made salads.
